Stopped in to one of my favorite bakeries to try some new items they are offering. First choice was a Turkish Beignet. I warmed it up a bit, took a couple bites and found it to be tasty - however, I added some homemade raspberry jam and it was awesome. My next selection was Irish Soda Bread. Never had it before and didn't know anything about what it was. Again I warmed some, added some butter and it was very tasty. The currants or tiny raisins were really good in the bread. Pair either of these choices with the latte/coffee of your choice and it's a great breakfast or mid morning choice. Love talking with Peter and getting info on the World Wide bread choices he provides for us. So nice to have more to choose from then "Wonder Bread" . If you have not been there yet - make a better effort!!

We recently went to Los Encantos after wanting to visit for so long, after receiving recommendations from friends and community members. We will definitely be back! We got some Bolillos and they were great on their own with butter, as sandwiches, and paired with Taco Soup. Service was kind and being surrounded by delicious bread and other baked goods from around the world makes for a unique bakery ambiance like you're on a travel adventure right in your area.

Best bakery. Not in town, but on the peninsula. I haven't tried anything they made that wasn't absolutely top tier.

So far, we have treated ourselves to the following selections: Focaccia Prosciutto Muffuletta, Mango New York Cheesecake, and the Focaccia Cinnamon Loaf (Vegan). We just walked into this shop a few days ago for the first time and are looking forward to this shop being a regular treat for us. The window lettering says, "Crazy for Confectionary", but, once a customer walks in the shop, they immediately see they offer so much more! It's a gem in Bremerton and worth a drive or an excuse to check out Quincy Square a block away or stop in before or after catching the ferry.

Most custom cake bakeries want much more advance notice but Nostalgia House only needed 48 hours. The people at the bakery were very responsive to both my phone calls and messages via their Facebook page. Everyone at the party loved the design and flavor of the cake, Lemon cake with strawberry filling. The bakery literally said we could do any flavor so tons of options available to you. Arrived at the bakery on a Saturday around 10am and they had my cake ready to go and it was great. Also a fair price. I will say if you are going to this bakery looking for pastries on Saturday...go early. When I got there at 10 they were cleaned out. It's a nice space clean, quiet and cozy. Didn't really notice much seating though.

On the one hand there is nothing extra like onions or peppers it is loaded with eggs and tasty pork sausage. The tortilla was very good, not too thick but thin and tender. Even though I was hungry it was difficult to finish the large burrito. I would definitely come back just for the burrito. I tried a blueberry streusel muffin- didn't care for it, seemed dry and lacked blueberries. The muffin itself had a yellow cake like batter and the streusel lacked sweetness or flavor. I also chose a Carmel pecan roll. It was much more to my liking, especially after I warmed it up. It was much like my grandmother used to make. Soft, nice amount of topping. Finally I tried a mini sourdough loaf . Made toast with it and it was tasty, toasted up nice. I will come back to try some of the other treats they have- and definitely another burrito!!
