Because the restaurant is usually busy, the service can sometimes feel fast-paced, and during peak hours there may be a longer wait, but that is understandable considering how popular the place is. I've enjoyed many meals here, and the portions are always satisfying. The dishes are flavorful, well presented, and worth coming back for. However, I did have one experience that left me disappointed. I ordered albóndigas through DoorDash, and while the meatballs tasted fresh, I noticed that some of the meat in the soup seemed more like beef stew meat and didn't taste as fresh as the rest of the dish. The broth also tasted like it may have been older, while other ingredients seemed newly prepared. I understand that restaurants can get very busy, but customers appreciate consistency and freshness. If an item isn't available or isn't at its best that day, I would rather be told than have older ingredients mixed in with freshly prepared food. Overall, Isabella's Bar & Grill offers excellent flavor, generous portions, a fun atmosphere with TVs and music, and food that is usually very enjoyable. My hope is simply that the restaurant maintains the same level of freshness and quality that has made it such a popular spot in Atwater.
