My all-time favourite taco spot! The flavours and portions are always super consistent. The service is great every time we come. We went on a Saturday night with a group of five and only waited about 10 minutes, which wasn't bad at all, plus the live music made the wait actually pretty fun! Definitely order the tres leches to finish everything off!

My favourite taco spot in Toronto! I came here with some friends and we got nachos and a platter of 20 tacos to share. The tacos are always juicy and tasty. My favourite tacos here are the sirloin and al pastor, but all of them are delicious. The horchata is also nice and refreshing. It's always crowded when I come on weeknights but I've never had to wait too long for a table. Parking is a bit tricky but there's some side streets nearby for street parking.

It was busy on a Friday night during dinner time, but we were sat right away. The atmosphere is pretty loud, and they also have live music. I had high expectations coming here, but was sadly a bit disappointed. This is probably because the best tacos I've had in Mexico and Vegas are hard to beat. To be fair, for Toronto standards I would say that these are pretty good. For me, the tacos were lacking a bit of flavour - I think a bit more cilantro, onions, and salt would have fixed this. The al pastor tacos were much better than the sirloin (the meat was dry), but both were just underwhelming to me. The corn tortillas were also a bit oily and lacking in taste. On a more positive note, the tacos do come with a lot of meat. The service felt very slow. The table beside us sat down a while after us, but they got their food first (it was the same dish we ordered). The server also waited 20 mins after ordering to tell us that what we wanted (carne asada tacos) was sold out. Overall I wouldn't be dying to come back here but it's a decent option if you want some good simple tacos.

Great value for terrific food and live music in North York! On a Saturday night at 6:15, it was already packed, and we had to wait about 15-20 minutes. It seemed like the majority of the customers were Latino, so that should already tell you something about how good this is! There was a singer who started performing at 8:00, but he was so nondescript that many people didn't even notice him-- no spotlight, no introduction; just a guy in a ball cap, plaid shirt, and jeans crooning away underneath the onscreen recap of a boxing match. His voice was so smooth, and just the perfect volume. In terms of food, the standouts were the nachos al pastor (it came with meat, pineapple, and guacamole) and the strawberry daiquiri (a decently-priced, generous portion). The saltiness of the nachos were perfect with the sweetness of the daiquiri. Tip: Do not try to park next door, in front of the pizza place. The poor servers have to walk around with a picture of the car to look for the customer who parked there. There's plenty of free parking in the neighbourhood around the restaurant!

I can on a Saturday afternoon with friends. They don't take reservations, and my friend said it gets very busy very fast, so we got there about 10 minutes after it opened. When we arrived, it was already maybe a quarter full. We were seated right away. We ordered 3 types of tacos (suadero, Al pastor, and one of the specials), as well as a place of nachos with added beef. The portion of the nachos were HUGE and they were very cheesy and loaded with goodness. The tacos themselves were also well-loaded with varying degrees of flavour. My favourite was the special (which I don't recall the name unfortunately)) followed by the suadero. We also had a bunch of nachos left over to take home. There was a long line-up by the time we left, so definitely arrive early if you want a seat!

Honestly food was very good!! The place looks like it's always crowded so be prepared to wait for a little while. Drinks are also good!

Dropped in on Friday around 6 and the restaurant was almost full. I'd recommend coming early! Got the chips and guacamole & queso (mozzarella) to start. The queso was not melted and very difficult to eat... wouldn't recommend. Also got the 4 piece al pastor tacos which came generously with meat. My friend got the sirloin and it was very tender.

The tacos here are as authentic to Mexico as you can find in Toronto. They have tortas here is well. Complimentary totopos are brought to the table. There are 4 salsas to try. One is sweet and one it hot. The others are tame. There is a good selection of meats to choose from. Portions are generous. Drink and cocktails are available too. Parking sucks. You may have to look around the neighborhood to find a space.

Delicious tacos. We were surprised there was a special that day (Wed) it was buy one get one al pastor tacos. I tried the al pastor, steak and shredded beef. I liked the steak one the most but al pastor was pretty good too. Service was good. Every table got a free bowl of chips as well. Would recommend and come back again

Amazing taco spot! Food is so good and the staff are super friendly. Special shout out to Mauricio who made our experience amazing! This place regularly has lines from how popular it is, especially around weekends and warmer months. The vibes are so fun inside with mariachi bands playing and football on the TVs. Every taco is absolutely delicious, my favourite being al pastor with the sweetness of the pineapple. They offer a variety of sauces to pair with your taco, in addition to complementary fresh made tortilla chips. Definitely recommend stopping by if you can, the wait is worth it!

best taco in TOWN!!!! true authentic mexican tacos found in this north york spot. Parking is very limited and can get super busy so a wait for a table could take some time but food is worth the wait. Our favourites are the al pastor, sirloin, carna asada and chorizo tacos!! sooo flavourful and not stingy on the meat. They also give fresh chips and salsa at the start of your meal and their homemade pineapple salsa is out of the world!!! Always look forward to coming back!

This is my go to place for tacos. Their sirloin tacos are absolutely amazing. If I had to pick one meal for the rest of my life it would be this lol!

If you're driving on Sheppard this establishment might not catch your eye. However now that I know it exists I NEED to go back. We went there an hour before it closed and there was still a line up to get in. Not only that there was live music - it was such a fun experience. The food, AMAZING! Reminded me of tacos I got when I was in LA not even a week before. I cannot wait to go back and try more food items. It says a lot when my picky of an eater husband even plans to come back. I got the Al Pastor tacos and everything was so flavourful!!!

When the waiter asked how everything was, I told him honestly that it was terrible. I had only taken two bites, and there was really no response. I wouldn't have wanted a replacement anyway after that experience. I also had some fruit bites, and about 10 minutes later my stomach started gurgling. By the time I got home, I felt awful. I was shivering, felt like I was going to throw up, and had to rush to the bathroom. It honestly felt like food poisoning. And I still paid for my meal Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place.

It seems their walk-in availability is limited to one table. We gave them our number and went to get a drink somewhere else. I got the call that a party of three had canceled so we hurried back from a bar around the corner. They stuck the four of us in the far back corner at a table meant for three very close to the very hot oven. We did not realize and it was not made clear to use that everything on the menu was meant to be family styled. We ordered drinks and they took a really long time so they gave us each a glass of complimentary champagne which was nice. The food itself was delicious and we enjoyed everything. I would just note that this is a place meant to be family styled and make reservations beforehand or show up an hour early if you want a guaranteed walk in spot.
