Well this place has decent Tex- Mex.. I am a major fan of their BAKED POTATO! Can you believe that? :P I believed its the #4 at that.. it has gooey cheese, sliced cooked jalapenos, shredded chicken, onions.. man.. im drooling for it now.. We were very, very disappointed with our visit on this Sunday evening. Our party of 6 stood at the front counter, waiting for a host for 10 minutes. Then, we were seated for another 10 before a server arrived. We ordered, and the server did not write anything down, which would of been fine except he ended up forgetting extra/specific items. It took a good 40 minutes before our meal arrived. The server did not come back to our table to fill our water glasses at all during our visit. We never did receive one item that was an extra. When we were served, he brought the rice and beans for fajitas (4 orders of it) and left. They were cold. Then brought the meat. Then, 10 minutes later, brought the tortillas for the fajitas. We got our own take home boxes, and got up to leave after waiting 15 from the time we finished eating. We could have very easily walked out; however did complain to the manager. Did I mention that we were the only people in the back dining area by the bar? One more thing...as we were leaving, a family came in the door. The manager said, "we are very busy, it will be 30-40 minutes." In other words, don't bother to stay. They left. Disappointing, very disappointing. I love Mexican food!!!! I got an eleven combo. Soft cheese taco, beef taco and corn tortilla with queso. The rice was good but any Mexican food needs some greasy cheddar cheese!!!! Been here several times. Very disappointed this time. Service was horrible. Our waiter did not bring our drinks for over 15 minutes. Had to track him down and ask about them. He argued when I said to put guac on a separate plate so I could give it to someone else and it was not given on a separate plate. The other couple we were with ordered a salad before their meal and instead of it coming before it came with the meal. Super disappointed. My husband, son, and I decided to try this restaurant on a Friday evening and we were very disappointed. We were seated in a separate room by the bar. Our ambience was continuous yelling between the servers and bartender. Our waitress had zero personality. How about a simple introduction of your name and maybe what's on special? I had a very simple request of changing and enchilada with carne sauce to ranchero sauce. There may have been some misunderstanding because my request was not made apparent to the person who prepared my meal. (Still got the carne sauce.) The enchiladas where super thin and the shredded chicken in the sour cream enchilada lacked flavor. So we left the restaurant having spent about $50 for lack luster food and ambience. Ate here Friday night for dinner. Service was good. The food was ok. My chicken had a great flavor, but the rice was super salty, and the rancheros beans had too much jalapenos in them. Their chips and hot sauce are tasty as are the sopapillas. Overall, it is a decent middle of the road Tex Mex place. read more

This place is probably the best Mexican restaurant in town but that isn't saying very much at all because well this is Terrell....a town where everything is horrible. The food here is okay but not worth the small fortune they want you to pay for it. DO NOT let them sit you in the bar area when they are busy as the music will be blaring so loud that you will not be able to hear the person sitting next to you....unless of course you like that sort of thing. Just order one...no TWO of their awesome watermelon margaritas (with an extra shot) and that will be worth the visit! read more

This restaurant used to have a location in mesquite and we used to always go to it and they closed it down. We tried this place recently in hopes it was the same restaurant and it was! The food is SO good! The beef enchiladas topped with queso are so good! Place is always full but we always get seated right away and and food comes out quickly. Hostess and waitstaff very nice! Food was OK but came out quick; queso was good but if you are a spicy food lover add some salsa with it and it will be perfect. Our first time here. Really good thin crisp chips. Tasty salsa. I had sour cream chicken enchiladas with rice and beans and it was very good. Husband had cheese enchilada platter and he ate it all. Our waitress was exceptional and often checked on us for refills on drinks and chips/salsa. They even had a big group in another room and we were served pretty quickly. We had been to the two other sit down Texmex restaurants in town and Los Hermanos was by far the best of the three. We will come back. read more

Was not impressed with the menu. The combination plates are a joke. They have 2 small items with beans and rice. Most places will have burritos included in their combinations, not here. Los hermanos is great! The wait staff is friendly and the food is good Tex Mex. There has been significant interior and exterior remodeling done within the past few months which allows for a pretty good environment. Check out their add in the Terrell football program. read more

Always great food and excellent service, unless you choose patio seating... then be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes for water, salsa, salt and napkins and about an hour for food. So if you want to go enjoy good food outside on a nice night here, then bring your own seasoning and water. There are many Mexican restaurant choices to choose from here in Terrell. This place is hands down the BEST! The fajitas are always sizzling hot! The Guizo plate is by far my favorite though! If your looking for a nice variety plate, try the Monterey! Frog dip is amazing too!! Salsa could use just a little more heat, but overall very good.
