AWEFUL is the only word that can describe this restaurant! I gave it one star for the really cool chairs and saddle bar seats but that is all it deserves. The server couldn't have cared less about her job, only coming out of the back to quickly drop off chips and a tiny tiny bowl of salsa and slaw then back to hang out with her friends. The salsa is from a can, the guacamole is served on a bed of thick cut lettuce which makes it impossible to scoop up with the chips, also from a bag. The food was nothing special and frankly, hard to even taste because it was completely drenched in some canned excuse for ranchero sauce. Such a blasé excuse for Mexican food, something DRASTIC will have to happen to this place's menu and personnel to entice us to return. read more

The best Mexican restaurant I have ever been too. The plates were big and the food had the best flavor. There is nothing I would change about the service or the food. This is the worst Mexican restaurant with the worst customer service. There were six individuals I. My party. Our meals were delivered 45 mins after we order them except for one. That person waited another 30mins to have her meal serves. When they brought out her meal it was not even what she had ordered. The waitress never apologized or offered to bring the correct meal back. We were there for two hours and never did she Check to see if we needed refills. We had to ask for silverware and paper towels. Go spend your hard earned money else where they are. It worth it. read more

I'll start off by saying the house margaritas are really good. The rest of the meal goes down hill from there. I had the Ranchero tacos and they were flat nasty!!! They were extremely salty and I normally add extra salt to everything. The tortillas were dripping in grease. It was hard to even get through half of my meal. We there for a Birthday dinner...the manager (or so he said) refused service to us because my mother had her service dog with her. He told me he didn't care what the law says he could refuse service to anyone. I explained this is a Diabetic Alert dog. He said they only take Seeing Eye Dogs in here. I told him that my elderly mother could die and he said "GOOD". He shoved my disabled vet brother and we had to call the cops. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN and they will be hearing from my lawyer. read more

I've lived in Brighton 15 years and went here about 10 years ago and didn't like it. I can't even remember why now. Friend of mine moved to Brighton area a month ago and went here and raved about it. Seeing as he is a Mexican food aficionado, I had to give it another try. Boy was he right. Hand made tortillas being cooked at the front door. Warm chips and homemade salsa. Some of the best carnitas I have ever had topped with a great green chili. The beans were the best I have had in a long time. I also had a 'New Mexico' margarita which is made with Mescal tequila and Cointreau. Thought it was very good as well. When I think of all the time I've wasted driving to further away places for food that wasn't near this good, I feel pretty stupid. Wish I could remember what it was I didn't like about this place 10 years ago. Hacienda Colorado is still probably my favorite Mexican place in the Denver area but this is easily my next favorite. We will definitely be back! Oh and the friend that told me about this place actually came in while we were there for his 2nd visit in a week. read more

This place has gone downhill. We arrived around 1:30, didn't get out of there until 2:30. There were only a handful of tables. Slow service. The street tacos al pastor were not worth the wait, big chunks of fat, tiny bits of tough over cooked meat. We will not be going back there. read more

STAY AWAY!!! If i could give zero stars I would!!! Food tasted awful. Rice tasted and looked like it had been sitting in a pan and in the fridge for atleast 3 days. Cheese in enchiladas not melted, the tortillas were over done and soggy, sauses tasted funky/off. Beans were mush and it was evident that the same scoop that was used for the rice was used for the beans. Chips were stale and the salsa was minimal. Bathrooms were dirty, parts of the walls were missing chucks. Service was meh, but if you spoke Spanish the service appeared/ sounded better. Drinks- beer tasted old, margaretta was straight from a permix bottle - want a tiny taste of tequila with the margaretta mix? We barely ate the food(20% if that) and when the waitress asked how it was we told her we were unsatisfied and asked for the bill. The waitress didn't try to make it right in any way. Waste of time and money, $45 down the drain. We don't go to sit down restaurants often so this was a bummer. This resturant is nothing to write home about. read more
