This place is really big with nice Mexican decor. We were able to get seating right away on a weeknight for dinner. Our waitress was super friendly and she gave us very good service. I got the carne asada and my friend got the enchiladas. The carne asada was so good...the skirt steak was nicely done and had very good flavor. We had an outstanding first visit to this location. From the moment we entered the restaurant, Alejandro welcomed us warmly and throughout our meal, made us feel like family. If you like well-balanced margaritas on ice with minimal sweetness, The Original Margarita is perfect. It's served in a cocktail shaker with a strainer on top, so you can refresh your drink when you're ready for more. One of the best margaritas I've had outside of our home. And it's a bargain on the Happy Hour menu at only $8.00! The chips and salsa were delicious. They have a spicy habanero salsa available upon request. We enjoyed the chicken taquitos and crispy chile rellenos immensely! The rellenos are served egg-roll style and have a warm salsa for dunking on the side -- crunchy, mildly spicy, with gooey melted cheese! So, so good. Not to be missed. This is one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I would like to point out three exceptional employees; Trinity Zach, and the manager Adrian. They are great. We love their original margaritas. They are not real sweet, but they also have sweet ones if you like them that way. Great happy hour prices and appetizers. Food is good, but the green chili makes it awesome. Note, we found out that not all 3 Margaritas are the same. We recommend this specific one at the Orchard Town Center Mall. We also like the one at 120th and main in Broomfield. The others we tried have not been up to this caliber. Enjoy! read more

My hands down favorite restaurant in Colorado. They NEVER miss! They have the best Mexican food I have ever tried. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the servers are so friendly and give awesome recommendations. I have never had a bad experience here. Food is always hot and fresh and you can taste the love and passion! I always get the shrimp and steak fajitas, it's addicting! Their queso is 12/10 also. Not to mention the complimentary salsa! We stopped into the 3 margaritas at orchard Mall after an exhausting day of Christmas shopping. Boy was this needed, and we were not disappointed! We sat up at the bar and the manager, Adrian, was able to give us a hand right away. We felt bad because we had absolutely interrupted him with allergy related questions but he was just incredible and made this a 1 of a kind experience. We tried the picante margaritas and guacamole to start- and our chips came with a homemade Molcajete salsa since I can't have cilantro. The quacamole was made table side with a lime that had been seasoned with a spicy seasoning. It was unbelievable. The molcajete sauce is made from multiple types of peppers That have been roasted and beautifully blended with roasted garlic and tomatilla. To top it off, I had the fish tacos (off menu) which consisted of grilled tilapia on flour tortillas with beans, rice, and garnishes. Adrian brought out some fresh roasted jalapeños as well to top it off. If you have a chance- please sit up at the bar- and hopefully you have Alejandro and Juan serving you. They make the experience great and have amazing suggestions, on and off the menu. Not to mention, my boyfriend was delighted when we all cheered the Army beating the Navy with a free shot for everyone at the bar! This is a fun spot to go to after a day of shopping, stopping in for dinner or just grabbing happy hour before a movie at the AMC theater. They have happy hour everyday from 3-6 pm and 9pm-close. Not to mention- this is very much a family owned and operated business and the service still reflects this! The 3 guys who started the 3 margaritas are still connected to the business. The plate is almost $18 and half the size it used to be. You get two small enchiladas and it's good but you feel ripped off. The mole is sweet and looks like red sauce. You can see the difference between the two pictures. The almost eaten picture is a past picture. I went almost a year ago and a year later the lunch size is $18 at dinner time. I'd definitely recommend going to the restaurant vs. getting delivery, especially if there are any substitutions you'd like, as I'm not sure that ordering delivery has nearly as many options for customization. We were seated immediately and our waitress took really great care of us. We both got margaritas. My friends got a strawberry margarita and I got a peach margarita and they were very good. I wouldn't note that the medium is a fairly large goblet so I felt like I got my money's worth. I ordered the enchiladas divorciadas and they were great. I definitely come to this restaurant when I'm looking for very nostalgic Mexican food that reminds me of my childhood. My friend got the quesadilla and her quesadilla was also huge so the portions are really good for the price. The restaurant has a lovely patio but we opted to sit inside since it was a little warm out and we prefer to be in the air conditioning. Celebrating our 12th anniversary, we thought we'd try a new place and we always love the Larimer 2100 block. Well, we were NOT disappointed. The service was superb (Thank you Tania) and the drinks were presented in the most fun fashion I've seen in a long time. The food was delicious and nothing was drowning in sauces or green chili. We tried a Tamarindo Margarita for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. The only comment I would make that's not glowing is that the music got turned up too loud at one point which made everyone else in the restaurant have to talk louder and suddenly it was not as much of an enjoyable atmosphere. The music was fine otherwise until someone decided to turn it up. We do plan to return and will be bringing friends. read more
