Small, quaint establishment just over the 441 bridge into North Milledgeville. Very friendly staff. Quick to seat and fairly busy for dinner time. Excellent jalapeño queso and salsa. Chips on the thicker side but hot and crispy. I had the Burrito Locos and requested one chicken and one steak and it comes with rice and beans. The chicken was ok to me. Cooked but not much flavor. However, the steak was perfectly done and seasoned. The rice and beans were also very good. Overall I'd give my dish a 4. Next time I'll get two steak burritos. My wife had the Two Chili Rellenos. She said it was very well done. Beefy, cheesy and tasty is how she actually put it. She gives her dish a 5. Overall a very good and satisfying experience. Sat at the bar but it took a while for anyone to acknowledge us. Wasn't aware there was no "fixed" bartender. Should've sat at a table instead. Chips and salsa were as expected. Got the cheese dip on the side. Decent. Ordered the burritos locos (steak). The steak was really good, but the burritos were overall lacking. The red sauce was way too runny and barely any on it. And the menu says it comes topped with shredded cheese. I saw maybe 4 shreds of cheese total on top of my 2 burritos. Besides the slow start, service was good. Really liked the frozen margarita. My first new review for the New Year! Almost anything has to be better than 2020. One thing I miss about not being in Arizona anymore, it's difficult to find good Mexican. So, when I got the urge for it, I decided to try a place that I hadn't been to yet. So, using KNG Delivery, I ordered a side of Chips and Salsa. And, a Fajitas Mexicanas for 1. Chips and Salsa: The chips were fresh, and had a prefect thickness. The Salsa was thinner than one would expect for Restaurant style. And, it had quite a bite to it. While very good, and will give me another appetizer, as well as a lunch, for the price, the quantity was much smaller than other places. Fajitas Mexicanas: Whoa! If this was for 1, imagine what for 2 would be like? The rice and beans were excellent! And the filling (steak, chicken and shrimp) was seasoned nicely, and tasted very good. I did find the chicken to be a bit overcooked. But, nothing serious. However, I'm glad I have some flower tortillas on hand. As the 3 small tortillas are long gone. For sure, I'll get at least another dinner, and a lunch out of it. I just wish I had more rice and beans to go with the leftovers. So, over all, a very good meal, at a very good price. The only good thing I have to say about this restaurant is their salsa was outstanding. They had two kinds and the second one was like none I've ever had and had a wonderful taste. That's where the positive experience ends. Our waitress was very sweet, however she did not Come back with the salsa and chips we asked our food server to send us more of. She never refilled our water glasses and we sat there thirsty for the entire meal. When I complained to her about my meal , she simply made excuses for it rather than offer something else or offer to adjust it in someway. I ordered the chili releno and it was absolutely nasty. It was some kind of flour tortilla she told me that they made there in the restaurant. It looked like a corn tortilla that had never been cooked and was raw. That's what it tasted like too, was raw cornmeal mush with a I piece of bell pepper inside of it and a huge amount of queso cheese, so much cheese it made me nauseous. Cheese was primarily what the dish consisted of. it must be cheap because I could barely find a piece of pepper and that was the worst tortilla I've ever eaten. I had the same type of tortilla on my chicken enchiladas. One of my chicken enchiladas had no chicken. Both of them were covered in a plain tomato sauce that tasted like it came straight out of the can. It was not enchilada sauce ! it had no flavor and no seasoning that resembled an enchilada. When I questioned the fact that it wasn't a corn tortilla and tasted nothing like the ones I made at home, She said : "oh we make our own in the kitchen out of flour. " I have never had a flour tortilla that looks like cornmeal and tasted like RAW cornmeal mush. I am gluten sensitive , but I didn't think I had to explain that since I was ordering what I thought were corn tortillas in a traditional corn tortilla dish. I Won't be back to this restaurant either! Madison has quite a few restaurants that are lacking in service and food! I think people go to this restaurant to drink alcohol , since the table next to us had a man fall out in the middle of the floor Apparently intoxicated to the point he couldn't sit in his chair. The restaurant was very loud and noisy also. We had a booth, so we were blocked off from a lot of it, but because of the alcohol people tend to be talking very loudly. This is our go-to for Mexican. Definitely the best around. Not at all bland and their cheese dip is so good! The food is delicious every time we go and the grilled chicken is always yummy. There was a hair COOKED into an onion. You could pick the hair up and the hair picked up the onion. I brought it to the owner's attention and she said well it's not mine. Lady it's not mine either. I didn't go into the kitchen and cook it in there myself. No apology or anything but tried to say it wasn't their fault the hair was cooked into the food. Disgusting. Absolutely terrible customer service with our waitress before that as well where she disappeared and I asked if she actually went home because she was nowhere to be found for a good 20 minutes. I wish I could give this place a bad review!! My girlfriend and I placed and ordered to go. When we proceeded into the place, it wasn't as packed or full. As we were placing an order SILVIA looked unfriendly, agitated, and unapproachable. She greeted us with an "ok que quieren" as in What do you want? She had a rude and condescending look with an agitated tone in her voice as if placing an order was only keeping her from being there any longer. When my girlfriend finished ordering she kindly asked SILVIA if she was able to get the order. SILVIA seemed like her ego was hurt. She was condescending with the way she replied with an annoyed voice "Yeah I heard you I already got that". We were made to wait for the to go order. While we waited other people came in and ate. We had sat in a booth and were made to get up to give the booth to a dinning in couple. Who were able to get their food before us. These people don't care about you. They only care about money and will treat you accordingly. They were obviously cooking for other people before our food was made. When we told them we were waiting for our food, after 45 minutes she came out to tell us the food was "almost" ready. About an hour later we had our food. When we asked and were told it would be 15-20 minutes wait on our order. Had a good expereince at Los Magueyes while visiting some family for Thanksgiving. The atmosphere was very inviting with football on all of the TV's. The staff were very nice and the menu had a great selection of dishes, all with very reasonable prices. I opted for the Texas Fajitas, which were a little too well done for my taste (had to scrape some of the chicken off of the fajita pan). All-in-all, a great little Tex-Mex joint in Milly that's nice to enjoy after a day on the lake. read more

Always tip 20% or more,one night family was eating there found Band Aid in food,owner acted like it was my fault,asked me if I wanted to be compensated for the one meal,told him no wasn't about the money. Waitress brought out beef then argued with me when I told her to send it back that I ordered chicken. We shared a pitcher of margaritas and they were so-so. Watered down in my opinion. My manager and I stopped in after a days worth of work for lunch. We were almost immediately seated, and our drink orders were taken right away. There was indeed a sense of eagerness in getting our orders put in, but unfortunately not only did they get the drink orders wrong, but my food came out well before my managers food, so I was sitting awkwardly while we waited for his to be served to him. They ended up getting the protein in his order wrong (he ordered beef and they gave him chicken). The quesadilla was a bit tastier because it has more ingredients but both are fantastic. The Chori Queso also did not disappoint. I ate it all myself. The veggie flautas were surprisingly tasty.
