Well, I don't have anything bad to say about this place. The first thing we received was a basket of delicate, light and crispy tortilla chips. These alone were worth the trip. But the tomatillo salsa??!! It's made with roasted tomatillos, according to our server, Nickolas - who was as adorable as he was helpful. This is like nothing I've ever tasted before. I told my lunch partners I'm just upset that I've gotten this old without ever having this!! It is indescribable. It's saucy and smoky and salty and so flavorful. So much so, that we asked for more and even more to take home. Who knew I'd have to go to Georgia of all places to taste the best salsa I've ever had?? I ordered the Vegetable fajitas. The usual suspects in there like bell peppers and onions. They also included mushrooms, corn and spinach. Just enough spice to give them great flavor. They include on the side some great refried beans, delicious rice and some sour cream and guacamole. I made a fantastic soft taco out of the flour tortillas included. Went in for lunch 6/20//23 ordered the soup and taco combo. Asked for jalapeños on the side. The meal was $ 8 and some change drink $3.50 no big deal. When I got the bill I realized I was charged $3.65 for what amounted to one jalapeño chopped up. A jalapeños cost about 30cents all day long. That one jalapeño cost almost half of what the meal cost. That is absurd to price gouge your customer like that. I did mention it to the manager and he assured me he wasn't in charge of pricing and left it at that. The waiter super friendly acknowledged she should have told me. I understand in the end the fault is mine as I should have asked, I wouldn't have guessed I'd have gotten nailed quite like that, so now you know. Thats cool, when you know better you do better. I will not be back on principle alone nor will anyone else I happen to be with at the time and from the looks of y'all's low score I'm not alone. They attempted to charge $11 for a single corn and found out later that it's supposed to come as an appetizer of two. We caught them when we saw an $11 charge for a single small corn on the cob. We came here for lunch. It was very good, cheese dip was delicious, my shrimp enchilada was great too. My husband liked what got as well. Service was quick, and friendly, chips were fresh. I think only reason I would not give them a full 5stars is floors were slippery almost like grease. The tables were sticky like the finish that was originally on the tables had been wiped off so now a sticky flim is on the tables. I love this Mexican restaurant for their roasted salsa and chips! It is so tasty and flavorful! These are free by the way also! My favorite item to order is the caldo de pollo. It is light, flavorful, and hits the spot every time. The best caldo de pollo I have had in the area by far. The cup size is just right. The bowl size is a bit big for me, but if you're hungry, trust you'll be full. Nothing wrong with to go leftovers. :) I enjoy ordering an extra side of avocado on the side to put into it as well! If you love a good Texas Margarita, you won't be disappointed either! Delicious and perfect balance of tequila and lime flavor. I was staying in Peachtree City and looking for some Mexican food. After checking on-line, I decided on Los Mariachis. Since I was solo on a Friday evening, I decided to eat at the bar rather than take up a table or booth. That was a mistake. The service I received was slow and spotty; the person waiting on me was the only bartender and was primarily focused on filling drink orders. I ordered a draft beer but it took awhile to get it. I don't think I would have gotten chips and salsa if it weren't for a manager who came by, saw I didn't have any and asked if I wanted some. I ordered the Carne a la Tampiqueña. It was good, but unremarkable. If you're going to eat at Los Mariachis, choose a table or booth or ensure that there's more than one bartender. read more

Horrible service and overall experience. This was the last resort for dinner with our group. We have been here twice and will NEVER BE BACK! Our last visit it seemed like we paining our server by even being there. I decided not to eat after seeing what they brought out. My poor husband and 10 year old got SEVERE food poisoning. We spend our time and resources, not to mention showed up on time to set up and entertain the patrons. Upon arrival, we where canceled for absolutely no legitimate reason. We ate outside on the patio because on a day like this who could resist. Our waiter was Gerardo he was very professional and attentive. I had the Tacos Al Pastor (my favorite dish at Mexican restaurant's). The dish is made with marinated pork, tossed with pineapple and cilantro all rolled up in corn tortillas, garnished with a few limes. The pork was very tender, a little on the salty end for me but I would order them again. I like the option of being able to choose only 1, 2 or 3 tacos instead of the whole entree. Let me tell you the portion sizes here are great. Good food, great seating options and no wait time around 11 a.m. on a Sunday. Definitely check this spot out. read more

Restaurant staff are great. Food is great. The problem I have is that a "house" margarita is $16. If you want a little sour cream with your quesadilla, which should always already be on the plate in ANY Mexican restaurant, that is another $4. One lunch with a margarita and a beer was $50 with tip. Unless this is changed, I will go elsewhere. If owner/manager wants to stop this gouging, I will come back. It is a shame. I was asked if I wanted a reg, med or large margarita. I requested a medium house margarita. $16 plus tax and tip is ridiculous! Sorry, won't be made a fool of again. During my ~ 2-month transition to the Peachtree City area, I had the (somewhat enforced) opportunity to sample a number of restaurants for dinner. I have tried about 5 Mexican places for dinner, and I'd say that, of those, Los Mariachis is the best. I would not categorize any of them as bad or great, but within the local range, so far I'd give the relative lead to Los Mariachis. If I could rate it 3.5 stars, I would, but I also would like to differentiate it from other local Mexican places if I review them. Among the things that separate them are an extensive menu, but with some accommodation to standard 'combo' type dishes as well. They seem more likely to have something for almost everyone. Plus, the dishes taste fresh and flavorful. And finally, they tend to give you quite a bit of food, to the point where you can often get at least another lunch from leftovers in a day or two. So props for value as well. Service has always been fine. Parking is likewise good here (not uniformly the case in PTC restaurants). And the venue is large enough so that they don't max out and have long waits (at least from what I've seen). read more

Just left Los Mariachi's in Peachtree City and can't say enough about how good the food was. Only 4 out of 5 stars because it's my first time here. I may reconsider... I ordered the Fajita Texas Salad because I'm a Texas Fajita junkie but wanted something "lighter" for an early lunch. Created by my new favorite cook, Freddy, this is now my new favorite Mexican dish. Every time my fork dug into the generous amounts of sweet pepper, onion, and crispy lettuce, it came back up with huge hunks of shrimp, steak, and chicken. All of this delicious goodness was tucked deceptively inside a normal-looking tortilla bowl. While the whole thing at once was definitely not the "light lunch" I was looking for, the leftovers (over half) are going to be hella good at work tomorrow. Our server, Abby, was sweet and attentive. The rest of the staff were, too. I don't know why people aren't talking about Los Mariachi's more. Hopefully, these positive Yelp reviews will increase the word of mouth. I loved it! read more
