Been here a couple of times, twice with my husband and once in a group setting. Great ambiance and the bar is really pretty. Plenty of parking also. Servers were great both times. When I went with my husband we ordered the guacamole as an appetizer and we got the pollo a la crema and steak a la Mexicana. Both dishes were good although the chicken (pollo) dish was really heavy on the sour cream taste which I didn't care for but still ate and it took the rest home as well. The steak had plenty of great cuts of steak and veggies to go along with it. Only issue I had was with the guacamole appetizer, we had to literally make the guacamole ourselves. The server brought out all the ingredients on a plate and said enjoy! It was strange to us that had to do it ourselves but we did it and still enjoyed it. I think the quality of food is great as well as the service. The second time we went (husband) we got shrimp tacos with corn tortillas and the tortillas were very very greasy so I wouldn't get those again. Chips and salsa is good as well. The time with the group setting we had great service as well. Food was great, I got chicken and steak fajitas and again great taste. The food I will say the food isn't bad but they are the cheapest restaurant in Peachtree city and the most rude establishment in our area ! Service was great, friendly and somewhat quick, but if you're in good company, and the food ends up being delicious, waiting shouldn't be an issue. highly recommend the ceviche, it's sold as an appetizer but it's large enough to have as an entree. My only wish is that they introduce horchata to the menu, not sure if they didn't have it the day we visited or if it's not offered at all but I feel it would be very fitting and cohesive with the menu. Food is flavorful and portions are great, their refried beans are also out of this world. Definitely recommend! First visit. Stopped in around 3pm ish received a warm welcome upon entry. Seated right away. Nicely decorated, neat and very clean. Great service from our server, multiple check ins, and politely answered any menu related questions. Large Menu with something for everyone. This restaurant looks cute on the outside. The inside was more than I could have imagined. The decor is colorful and vibrant. I loved the light fixtures they chose. The ambiance is great. They have an upstairs that's more moody/vibey/ romantic. We were happy with everything we ordered. I had the steak chimichurri and my husband had the Tamiquena. The tortillas were home made and fresh. The guac was delicious. The rice was flavorful. My beans were perfect. The chips and salsa were so good too. It was spicy and a little sweet at the same time. We used to live in California and thought they had the best Mexican food. We now live in Las Vegas and have our favorite local places so I didn't have high hopes for Georgia. My family got here right around 10pm on a Friday night and they welcomed us in just like they had opened the restaurant. The waitress we had was top notch and we never had to want for a refill and she even offered to warm up the cheese dip that we had ordered as an appetizer to ensure it stayed warm throughout our meal. The food we all to was delicious! I ordered something like a fajita quesadilla, my wife had the tamales, one of my boys got the regular cheese quesadilla, and my youngest son got something along the lines of grilled chicken, rice and cheese. The portions are huge and unless you have a hollow leg, you could leave with some leftovers. The ambiance is very causal. My wife loved all the signs hanging up and was taking pictures of them. We have been there many times over the years and tonight was our worst experience as far as service. They were severely understaffed. I think there were 2 servers for about 50 patrons. This is the first time I have had to write a bad review in my 60 years of life. The manager of this place is horrible. Service level is -1. Our server was drunk. Word slurring loud talking drunk. She took a long time placing our order and had to come back and ask again what we wanted. We arrived at 5:30 and didn't get our food until 7. A diner at another table alerted the manager and she came over to tell us our server would be changing and walked away quickly. Not only did she not apologize for the incident she got angry when we asked for her to come back to discuss the issue. She is not a good manager. Her compensation for the issue was to take $1.90 from my bill. The money is not the issue. I came to enjoy my friends. The horrible customer service is the issue. I refuse to eat there, however my wife and daughter insist l go because it's convenient! I have wanted to review it for over a year! Here in the GA I prefer the small Mom and Pop places! The food is mediocre and the presentation is about the same!!! Whoever, heard of making chile rellenos with bell peppers??? Last Friday l informed the waiter my plate was not what l ordered and was told that's the way they make there rellenos here! If you're looking for a spicy dish, I reco to request that they make it spicier, bring you some hot sauce, or choose another option. This place started out strong - they have pretty good food and nice cocktails - but the service has faltered severely. We brought out-of-town family in last night (Friday) and it was dead. Service was terrible - I never received a simple refill. After ordering apps, the waitress disappeared for 30-40 mins before taking our order. Two of our meals delivered after the rest of the party had completed their meals. The restroom was also atrocious. When I went to the desk to talk to the manager, she was sitting at the bar on a computer while 5-6 employees were behind her at the desk standing around and cutting up. No apology from the manager. I went to Azul Tequila with Mama and Dada and it was sooo yummy! The chips were crunchy, the salsa was tasty (Mama said just a little for me), and my food came with rice and beans--rice and beans for the win! My plate was warm and cheesy, just how I like it. Everyone was so nice and kept smiling at me. I liked all the bright colors and lovely décor--it made me want to look around instead of sit still. Mama was happy because they even have a changing station in the bathroom (that's a big deal when you're with me!). Azul Tequila is open again!! The place looks great inside and out! They really did a wonderful job with their make over. Their new menu has a lot to offer- many of the same dishes as before but also a great deal more that sound wonderful! They have significantly pared down their new menu for tomorrow (Cinco De Mayo), so be advised of that if you plan to visit. This weekends menu is easily 1/4 of their new, regular menu. Service tonight (around 6:30) was painfully slow, especially considering most of the tables were empty during our visit. Salsa for the table was watered down, the meal I had ordered and received was both operator error and restaurant error. I messed around and ordered something from the regular menu which I obviously shouldn't have expected to get and I didn't (that's fair, and I'll own it), but it was lukewarm to boot. I spoke to our server, sent it back, was offered a change, but by then my family was mostly done eating, and I would have held everyone up, so I declined (was still charged for it. Still paid for it. Fine. Whatever) Rather than wait for a fresh plate, I asked for a second beer to enjoy while the rest of our party finished their meals. It never came. Another in our party really would have loved to order a beer, but wasn't given the opportunity to... just all around not that great. There was however a balloon artist on deck this evening who was fantastic! She delivered what was requested expeditiously and done very well! 11/10 stars for her! Worth noting that tonight was my third trip there since they've reopened after renovations, and I still chose to leave this review, this way. In other words, I don't believe these observations are strictly relative to their anticipating a busy Cinco De Mayo, but I do hope after some more time open we'll have a really rad spot on the east side to visit for tacos and margs. My wife's drink was delivered with gnat in it, but it was replaced without a problem. My daughter ordered enchiladas with ground beef. She said it was okay. My wife ordered a steak quesadilla. The steak looked pretty dry. She said it was okay. I ordered the pork tacos. The menu said they were soaked in beer and orange juice, but the pork was still pretty dry. Overall, everything was okay. A male bartender was quick to greet me and get a drink started and asked if I wanted chips & salsa. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. $10 ENCHILADAS THREE AMIGOS: Pick any 3! I got CHEESE, CHICKEN & BEEF. All 3 were were very different, but good! I think my favorite was the beef and least fav was the cheese. Instead of rice & beans I replaced with the STREET CORN. Very citrusy & delicious! This was my favorite part! $7 CHURROS: Comes with 2 large churros cut in half to make 4 smaller pieces. It comes with either caramel or chocolate dipping sauce (I got chocolate). Came out hot, crispy, and covered in cinnamon sugar! I didn't ask for ice cream, but she gave it to me anyways (they also charge more). I was so full at this point I couldn't finish them. OVERALL: This was my first Mexican restaurant that I tried in Peachtree City. It was below average in my opinion. The experience at least ended well and the main dishes were good. My guest and I were charged for 2 margaritas and a cheese dip where we had eaten and drank less than 1/4. I absolutely love this restaurant. It is one of the best in the area. The menu is exquisite and offers so many plates that are authentic with gourmet touches. I highly recommend any of the Mexican style tacos with the homemade corn tortillas! One of my favorite sides is the cactus salad. If you enjoy cocktails, you cannot go wrong with any of their margaritas. I love the skinny Margarita made with fresh squeezed lime juice and a Tajin rim. If you love frozen margaritas, the mango is excellent. It doesn't taste like fake added syrups. The presentation is superb, offering modern, contemporary serving dishes---which is an added perk in my opinion. The little touches even from the blue glasses or blue salt ties in everything of the brand. The decor inside is beautiful. Dining experience is always a joy. I find this restaurant to be exceptionally clean as well. During these times, they have also adapted to the pandemic. read more

We had eaten at Azul occasionally when we first moved to the area. However we had eventually gravitated to a couple of other places that were similar and slightly closer. However, as one of those had begun having issues with billing and their liquor license, we opted to branch out and give some other places another try. I never had anything against Azul. The only drawback vs. their local competition was that I usually had more leftovers (for a subsequent lunch) from another place. The food quality here was fine. This is still the case. They also seemed more crowded than at least one competitor (which may indicate that more people like them). But for me personally, it meant that it was harder to get a table here. They do seem to promote their tequila, and though I am not a fan, if you are this might be a basis for choosing them. In all, this is a solid place for Mexican food. read more

The staff was super friendly, and I sat at the bar, where Cat made me an amazing cucumber jalapeño margarita--absolutely phenomenal. First time visit (12.3.21) to this restaurant. It fell flat....WILL NOT RETURN!!! 1. Employees (hostess, waiters, waitresses) not wearing masks. 2. Customers not wearing masks as their waiting for their table. And none of the restaurant staff enforced mask wearing. 3. No social distancing practiced. Customers seated at tables right next to each other. We played it safe and sat outside on the patio. Ordered the cozumel chicken and a burrito. Both tasted good but was charged $3+ to add a small cup of queso to my entree and was charged $2 for a small cup of guacamole (teaspoon size). Our waiter is not a people person and should not work with customers. Message to management if your reading this review: We're in a pandemic at a time when people are dying from a virus. You should be enforcing mask wearing for your employees and customers. Please add some cushions to your patio seats and bench.....very uncomfortable. Don't rob your customers.....a teaspoon of guacamole is way overpriced at $2.
