This car wash used to be my go to but not anymore. It's getting worse and worse by management not having enough staff to support the demand. Guys are working hard but there just isn't enough of them. Been here over an hour and it took 35 minutes to get to the vacuum area to drop off my car and now my car is stopped in the middle of the car wash waiting for the cars in front of it to get pulled out. Used to be good. Imagine with me for a second that you pay way over $100 for a wax and wash when they finally get done there's dead bugs all on the front bumper. So you show the guy and he says that's from rocks on the freeway and you take your finger and you start wiping bugs away in front of him and he then takes a dry towel and just rubs them in. I've been coming to osos car wash for more than five years with my smaller mini Cooper, but with my new SUV, they seem to lack in that department in cleaning such a bigger vehicle... I've never had any issues before up until today and I'm really surprised on which why they left my car so dusty only after being dirty for two weeks. Don't come here. I mentioned that I was before 2 cars, asked if I needed to move my car when I first got there. The minion taking the orders got a power trip & sent 5 cars in the tunnel before me. When I talked to the manager about it, he tried to gaslight me, condescendingly saying "we can only put one car in the tunnel at a time" obviously, but my car shouldn't have been 5 cars behind. I came on 9/27/2025 to get my car washed I paid $31.99 for my service! It wasn't busy at all, I had maybe two people in front of me. This is slow for a Saturday at this place. My car was dirty and the inside was very dusty and had dog fur from my shoes on the floor. They left trash in my car on the doors like gum paper and water bottles car was still dusty and full of dog far. It was like they were scared to vacuum my car. I still have bug juice on the windows still have dirt on the car. They just did a horrible job. I asked for new car smell. I smell nothing as if they never put an air freshener in there which I see they did, but it was almost as if it was used because there's no new car smell. I just was not pleased at all with the service I received and for me to have spent $31 to leave when my car is still messy and dirty. It's so disrespectful. Yes it's my fault for letting it get this dirty. But I paid for a service I didn't get. read more

I used to come to Los Osos Carwash regularly, but after today I'm done. The wash itself is fine, but the way they handle vehicles is not. When I got back into my truck, I noticed my right mirror had been folded forward and then readjusted by the staff. Annoying, but manageable. What isn't manageable is that they keep moving my seat even after I've repeatedly told them not to. I even use a small block of wood to keep the seat from being pushed all the way back and reclined. Today they removed it and pushed the seat back reclined it again. Then I discovered the real problem: they had put my truck into 4HI. This isn't something you can do by accident--you have to press a lock button and intentionally switch it. When I tried to reverse, the truck barely moved, and if I hadn't caught the 4WD indicator, I could've caused serious drivetrain damage. This level of carelessness is unacceptable. I can't recommend this place anymore. I'm looking for another carwash. You should too. read more

Not surprised by the rating. This place used to be really good a few years back. Now they rush the cars so quick that they leave certain parts of the car dirty or un clean. My car still had the inside of the door panels dusty as well as the dash. They didn't clean the center console either in all I give them a 4 out of 10. I will have to fine a new place. This was the worst Car wash. I have to say I may have ever paid $35 for. I have a Tahoe... I made sure the back was cleaned out so it could be vacuumed, it was not. I made sure all of the trash out of my car so it could be completely wiped down on the inside, it was not... I just spent 30 minutes doing what I just paid somebody else to do... I went once before and paid to have my car waxed... Went and got my nails done while it was being waxed... Came home and my husband said there is no way that this car was waxed the next day when water did not even be off my car at all... I have been pretty unhappy with my last few services... First thing is, I've been bringing my car and wife's car for hand washes for awhile. I brought my car in for a hand wash and as I was driving home water was flinging then when I got home I started giving it a better look. The door jams and windows were still covered in dirt. Then I lifted my son's booster that is not strapped in and it wasn't vacuumed under. The front seat wasn't vacuumed. The center console and cup holders were dirty not whiled down. So I went back. The " manager Daniel " gave me attitude that I wasn't happy about my car not being washed. The outside of the car especially the front grille was still dirty. I told him to wash it again per what I was told over the phone. And he said they don't do that. And I said ok and walked back inside to speak with the lady. She said they will. As she stood by a sign inside their lobby saying " if you are not satisfied with your wash we will fix it until you are satisfied" So I went back out there and handed him my keys and told him that she said to rewash it. When they were finished. My car was the same. All the door jams were wet and dirty. And said this is one of the reasons I came back. They I said just give me the rag I'll do it myself. This is by far not the best car wash around, but it is closest to my house. I do always try to wash my own car but occasionally I have to take my car in to get washed. Unfortunately today was one of those days. I understand before I take my car to get washed, that I have to do some touchups when I bring my car back home. I have a manufactured sticker on the hood of my car and minimal black plastic around my car. Apparently, today, I was told by the person drying my car and the owner of the car wash that they do not put any shiner on my sticker or my black plastic. I literally just took my car in a few weeks ago and they had no problem doing that. I don't know where the change happened in these few weeks. My tires were not shined. The tires still looked dirty as hell, so I had to clean them myself and re-shine them. Then when I was really looking at my car, it looked like they just washed my car and let the sun dry it. There were water spots all over and drips all over. I literally just rewashed my car myself. I know this is luxury and that I don't have to take my car to get washed and I can just wash it at home myself. I also know I could've have them re-wash it or complain more but I was trying to avoid that situation. I understand that my standards are a little high too, but honestly, this was the worst it's ever looked. It even looked worse than before my car was taken to get washed. Recommend to stay far away from this place. Go somewhere else even those drive-through quick car washes are way better than this place.
