    Guava agua fresca
    Chris K.

Love this place its literally a miracle. Stopped by for lunch. Guyaba agua fresca hit the spot. Roja Mole with chicken took me back to homemade mole in Oaxaca. Fresh house made chips and tortillas. No substitute for a scratch kitchen. My wife had chicken fajitas which looked great and I sampled the frijoles tegritos and guac. Both excellent. We will be back!

El Milagro is a beautiful restaurant with excellent customer service. Our food was also beautiful and very good. They were very accommodating to my partners keto diet which he really appreciated.

10/10 experience! We drove past El Milagro when we in the area and I thought the restaurant was cute from the outside. I looked it up on trusty Yelp and saw it was basically 5 stars. We sat outside because we had our dog but we still got wonderful customer service! The food was wonderful. My hubby and I shared a carne asada plate and my daughter had a kids taco plate. The chips and salsas were really good! We kept asking for refills. Also, I had the mango agua Fresca! Highly recommended!

First try here, I was craving tacos after a long hike so we made the trek up from Point Reyes, lol. I'm glad we did because the food was delicious! Chips are fresh, hot and the salsas are fabulous! A roasted pepper salsa that reminds me of my old favorite salsa from Sonoma Taco Shop (IYKYK). They also brought a spicy salsa, most likely habanero, great flavor with some serious kick. I attempted to order my usual, al pastor crispy tacos after and a carne asada taco. They were out of Al pastor (craziness), so I swapped it for shrimp instead. I only ate my carne asada "taco" and the other goodies. The chips are thin, crispy, and fresh and everything I want chips to be at a Mexican restaurant. I also saw they do a special shrimp taco with potato filling sometimes, it was not on special today, so alas I just follow and come back when it is happening because I want that taco! lol I'm really sad I couldn't try the al pastor, it's my minimus test at a New Mexican spot so again another time. I probably won't order "crispy tacos" again there since they came out more like tostadas than a taco. Still delicious, but not a taco.

I love this place. It has the most interesting and tasty Mexican food in the North Bay. Tonight I had Bistec con Chili Pasilla. They do an excellent job with arrachera steak - always juicy, tender & delicious. We were able to sit outside a few hundred feet from the plaza and listen to the music with dinner.

Tortitas En Pollo with Salsa Verde

I heard great things from my Cloverdale clients about them so I finally tried it, yesterday. I had the Tortitas En Pollo with Salsa Verde and it was outstanding and I loved the new taste of Mexican stews!!! The tortillas tasted like they were homemade and were so fresh! I loved the savory salsa with the chips! The chicken breasts were cooked to perfection and the sauce was so delicious! The meal was prepared with meticulous care and the server for take out was very warm and friendly. I'll be back for sure when in the area!

Both the food and the atmosphere are totally authentic. The tortillas are deliciously homemade. Price isn't just awful. Waitstaff are friendly and competent.

It was my first time here. It's in downtown Healdsburg, it was not busy at all. I sat at the bar. The tacos were delicious and it was a lot of meat for the tacos. The good tastes fresh. The inside is cute, felt upscale. My drink was a hibiscus margarita called Lolita.

While the ladies shopped, I was saddled with the sacred duty of finding lunch--because nothing fuels a retail marathon like a well-fed chaperone. Naturally, I turned to Yelp, the modern oracle of questionable opinions and mouthwatering food pics. My search commenced from the most strategic of locations: a park bench in Healdsburg Square, where the scent of possibility (and maybe a hint of grilled meats) filled the air. Enter El Milagro. The photos looked promising, the reviews were a mixed bag of praise and nitpicks, but a 4.8-star rating whispered sweet nothings to my hungry soul. A mere three-minute stroll from the Square, the restaurant was tucked behind a wine-tasting room--because this is wine country, and even tacos demand a sommelier-approved setting. First impressions? A surprising level of elegance. White tablecloths at a Mexican restaurant? Bold move. But any lingering doubts vanished the second I cracked open the menu. This wasn't your average strip-mall taqueria lineup--this was a culinary mixtape of bold, unique dishes that required some guidance from our server (who, I must say, had the patience of a saint). Now, let's talk food. We went with the chicken burrito bowl, taquitos, and tortilla soup with chicken. Expectations were met, then surpassed, then given a congratulatory high-five. The pineapple sauce on the taquitos? Straight-up gourmet. The salsa? The kind that makes you rethink every sad, store-bought jar you've ever owned. We'll be back for dinner, no question. The entrée selection looks like it deserves a hungrier stomach and maybe a celebratory margarita (made from wine of course). The specials sounded intriguing enough to warrant a return trip--preferably when I'm not on a strict "just find lunch" mission. El Milagro, consider us officially impressed.

If you're in Healdsburg and you're craving Mexican food for dinner look no further. This place has an awesome atmosphere that feels high class but without insane prices. The staff were very attentive and super friendly. We ordered the combo fajitas to share which came with a generous portion of tortillas, rice, beans, all the other fix ins. This was more than enough for two people. Before we got our fajitas we enjoyed free chips and a couple drinks.

20-30% recommended tips! 3% surcharge for using a credit card!?
    Brandon R.

Receipt with recommended default tips starting at 20 up to 30%?! To also have a 3% surcharge for using a credit card when prices are this high? Checked this place out during the busy Saturday lunch because of high reviews and no wait, as well as having some outside tables. Service started off fast and attentive, but as we finished our meal our waiter was no where to be seen do a long time. I had to go inside to get a to-go box, and ask for the check after waiting for a long time, to see the only waiter eating at a booth when several tables were needing service. They should be able to eat and take a break, but have adequate staff to cover if you are asking for that large of a tip as well as the overpriced and over cooked food. Skip this spot, I had high hopes but the 3% charge and pushy tip tactics left a bad taste to finish off an ok meal. Obviously taking advantage of tourists.

New Mexican restaurant in Healdsburg, sister restaurant of El Milagro in Cloverdale. It's tucked just behind Williamson Wines on Matheson, between Healdsburg Ave and Vine St. We arrived early on a Monday night and secured a table for two inside, without a reservation. But a few of the tables filled up...on a Monday!...so I definitely recommend making a reservation. I think they have around 40-45 seats. It's dimly lit and cozy feeling inside. Glad to see they're doing so well and people are finding them. We enjoyed the food and friendly service. They started us with chips and salsa - thin and salty chips, just the way I like them. My guy liked them so much that he ordered the nachos, which came loaded with goodness and meat. I ordered the tacos with shredded chicken - two tacos, each with a double tortilla, and a side of rice and beans. Everything was solid. We don't eat Mexican food often these days, but we'll return the next time we have a craving. NOTE: they have a beer and wine license; no liquor license so "margaritas" can be made but with wine instead of tequila.

The flan had the perfect amount of sweetness.

First time going and it was quite busy but they made time for us. The food was flavorful and beautiful. Everything was cooked perfectly, the meats were tender, the salsa options were incredible (the spicy one was my fave), and the drinks were exceptional. The place itself is lovely, and although we sat outside, the staff were very kind and attentive. Truly 10/10.

The service was good overall, but the biggest disappointment was the food. Three of us ordered the Coastal Fish Bowl, a dish our friend had always enjoyed during his previous visits. While the combination of vegetables, black beans, and cheese had pleasant flavors, the fish was the main issue. The menu describes the dish as featuring sea bass, but the fish served was actually swai (also known as basa), a much less expensive farm-raised freshwater fish. I am very familiar with swai and could immediately recognize that it was not the fish described on the menu. Additionally, the menu stated that the fish was grilled, but it was actually lightly battered and deep-fried. The description also mentioned that the dish came with tortillas, but none were provided. Overall, the menu description was significantly misleading and did not accurately represent what was served. While our experience was not ruined by the service, it was only adequate and did not make up for the disappointment with the food. A restaurant's menu should accurately reflect the ingredients and preparation methods so guests can have the experience they are expecting.
