Super happy we decided to try this place out. We were on the way up for my sister in law's graduation. I had googled for some places to eat, and this location popped up. Burritos were a hearty size - my mother in law (MIL) ordered the mexican burrito and my husband ordered the regular. They were huge when they came out. My MIL was not able to finish hers. I got 2 tacos with pastor (pork). It was the right size for me, as I'm a smaller gal. Usually my max is 3 tacos. The meat, sauce, and onions were a lovely combination. The pastor was nicely grilled and marinated. Plus the lime squeeze accentuates the taste so much more! I was a fan of this spot, and would come again if in the area. There was one bathroom each - male and female and were alright. Staff were friendly, and checked in if we were good and needed anything else. Theres parking in the back if you don't see any out front. The only thing is the sign for the food was a bit hard to read. Holy shit: this place is so good but so inconsistent with the spice. You never know who's making your food and your spice scale vs theirs. I say this as my mouth salivates because it's on fire and this is coming from someone who used to eat habaneros and Serrano as a kid for $10. Service, I mean idk I think they mess with us when we ask for spicy but also I usually get this door dashed or call in. It's definitely a vibe, end of town shopping center next to a Mexican market as gas station but I will continue to love this place and suffer as long as it's here. Was randomly up he Healdsburg and tried this place-it was so good! The carnitas were crisped on the outside and so flavorful! My family had carne asada tacos and burritos. Pls note: my kids like their stuff plain so they requested nothing on them lol. But trust me you can get the tacos w the works here and everything on them! I loved the Guava Aguas Frescas!! Absolutely NOTHING like Applebees. Didn't even really recognize most of the things on the menu. However! I got a "taco" and my androgynous primary got a what they kept calling a "rito" and both were absolutely oishi! Couldn't recommend Guadalajara more! Going to bring my secondary here next! read more

We ordered two burritos for pickup. After tipping 15% the bill came to $38. The burritos were good but on the smallish side. My good luck is holding as TG is on Door Dash and I can enjoy the best Mexican food at home. The restaurant itself is small and busy and becoming recognized for its high quality food. The enchiladas and rellenos are top notch, as are the flautas . A highlight of the complete dinner is the rice and beans on the plate. Not only are they a complete complex carbohydrate, they are the best combination. Fluffy rice, perfectly flavored beans. There is one "must order" item on the menu. We've been going here for years. Hubby loved the super burrito with carne asada and it's still his fav. My favorite for years was the chile verde plate with whole beans. Best chile verde around. So tender and flavorful. Then a couple of weeks ago I tried their pollo fajitas taco, and their camaron taco. OMG! Now the best fajitas I've had. So fresh so delicious and love the camaron taco as well. I have to also rave about their salsa verde. For years we've been leaving the restaurant with an 8 ounce container of salsa verde (with avocado) to last us until we go back in! it's that good! I used to put it on most everything I fix at home! Service is great! i love the walls that are painted with murals and it feels good to be there. What a nice surprise! Stopped here on my way home from a wine tasting event to grab some din. As previously mentioned, the space is just your classic hole in the wall dining establishment. Nothing fancy about this place folks, other than their food of course! Their menu is extensive and filled with all of the best Mexican goodies. I went with a chicken tostada and a chicken enchilada plate with beans and rice and a homemade horchata. It came with chips and salsas (plural), and BOTH of those salsas were on hit! They came with a spicy green salsa and a mild red salsa which were both equally delicious. The homemade horchata tasted incredible! Nice and sweet, and garnished with fresh bits of cinnamon. The chicken tostada was stacked for the GAWDS! I don't even know how many layers of chicken were on that thing, but it was enough to damn near make a meal out of itself. The chicken enchilada was covered in red sauce and just the perfect amount of melted cheese. The beans and rice tasted freshly made! They use the freshest ingredients here and you can simply tell by the wonderful aromas and taste of their food. This was what I call a "struggle dinner". It's one of those dinners where they give you an ish load of food that you normally wouldn't finish in one sitting, but because it's so damn delicious, you must struggle your ass off to eat it ALL! Yep... ladies and gents; Shayla DID that, mmkay? I scraped that plate in pure enjoyment. Every staff member that I came in contact with was so friendly. This isn't a full service restaurant, but I did appreciate that they came by and asked me how I was enjoying everything. I'm sure they already knew from seeing my empty plate, but it never hurts to ask just in case. Daaaamn this food was "sooooo gooooood"! Absolutely scrumptious and not too far from my winery either. Ordered a pastor taco and chile relleno to go. The food came out quickly. I drove home which is around 8 minutes. The pastor taco was really sweet like it had a ton of sugar in the meat. I've had plenty of pastor tacos in my life and this had way too much sugar. I proceeded to the chile relleno. It was topped with shredded lettuce drenched in sauce So I scraped off the lettuce and sauce as it was a so soggy. The chile relleno fried dough was also soggy and was very sweet. I don't understand the use of so much sugar that it overwhelms the taste of the food. I would go back and try other things but I'm afraid they'll be overly sweet. read more

Far superior in quality and flavor compared to the Lola's supermarket tacos across the street. Here there are generous portions of meat poured on top. Al pastor is pretty spicy, not recommended for 1st timers or people with baby palates. Lengua (tongue) is moist and flavorful. Shredded chicken taco is delectable. Crispy chips and spicy green & red salsas are free. All the other menu Mexican suspects are present (Enchiladas, burritos, etc...) Menudo and birria made on weekends only. I ordered a wet burrito with carne asada. There were ground up kidney and aorta chunks instead of actual meat. Mixed in with the "meat" was rice inside the burrito. Thats it. Just a tortilla with massive amounts of dry rice inside. They sprinkled some toppings, mainly just cold cheese, on top of the burrito and served that. I dont know how they are still in business. Everything they do is great. I am stuck in an enchilada rut. The pulled chicken with the mole sauce on top, their standard. With some red salsa on top, my favorite of the salsas there. But their El Pastor is the bomb as well, the ceviche mmm, even the guacamole is just perfect. And to top it off this is one of the most affordable places for a meal in Healdsburg. Only drawback is no margaritas, but they do have cerveza, and most of the time I call my order in and take it home to eat so I can make my own margaritas anyway :) read more

Delicious! Love this place no matter the location with Consistent service, menu and awesome ingredients! Authentic carnitas that is mouthwatering delicious!! Salsas that pack a little heat but balances with awesome roasted flavors of the papers and tomatoes. Easily best Mexican food in healdsburg. The taste is so authentic and they have great customer service. The owner (or at least who I think is the owner) is always so warm and welcoming. My partner gets the chilaquiles, we get tacos de al pastor and today I tried the caldo de rez and omg it taste just like how my mom use to make it. Their mole enchiladas w chicken are also super tasty, authentic tasting mole with the yummy smokiness it tends to have. I highly recommend and I don't think it gets the recognition it deserves. The salsas are also always so consistent too, I just wish they were a tad bit spicier! The place is quite small and parking lot can be busy but the restaurant itself is always tidy and they have a pretty extensive menu considering their kitchen doesn't look so big, also they are able to fix a dish quite fast! Hubby and I are always ready to try a new taco spot, so we saw this place tucked away on the way into Healdsburg, right off the freeway. This place is nothing fancy. They have tacos, burritos, enchiladas, all the normal items. They even have Menudo on Saturdays. I ordered one shredded chicken taco and based on the size, one was large enough for me. It came with a generous portion of moist shredded chicken, some taco sauce and some cilantro. it was delicious! Hubby liked his beef tongue (not my fave thing to eat!) taco and the carnitas pork taco. He had a huge smile on his face when we left. They had two fresh salsas that I am sure were homemade.
