This was a decent find. I would give it a 3.5 stars. I would give my meal the Chicken Salad 4 stars even though it was overloaded with green peppers. I forgot to take a pic before digging in though. The chicken was flavorful and so good. I got a side of guacamole to go with it and it was really good. My husband had the Jalisco chimichangas which surprisingly had a sauce on them. He said it was good but not 4-star worth. That's why we'd say 3.5.

Yummy yummy!! The decor is beautiful, the service was quick and pleasant, and the food was delicious! The drink was a no go. We ordered the pitcher of strawberry margarita with Don Julio. It was tasty to drink but boy did it give me a killer headache after the fact! No Bueno!

Ordered carry out. totally messed our order up. We ordered Pollo Loco and actually got somebody else's order , but we ended up eating it and the rice was so over cooked we stopped. There was a lot of like .. juice? In that container so it actually ended up spilling all over everything in the bag. I got a fajita potato and it's just dry, bland chicken on top of a bland baked potato (no seasoning) combined with still crunchy peppers, onions, and tomatoes. Asked for no lettuce and they actually put some on and then covered it up with chicken so.. 4/10

Service was subpar. Food was average. The Carnitas (pictured) were good they were more pork tips instead of shredded pork. I probably wouldn't return but I'm also hoping I never have to come back to Murray either lol

Three stars because the food was good. I hated the service though. It wasn't horrible, just rushed & the waiter ended up spilling a whole cup of water on us. Ordered a skinny margarita that tasted like sprite & mixer. Nothing fresh or "skinny" about it. Also ordered a shot of Don Julio Reposado & was brought a blanco shot. When I asked the waiter said they didn't have Reposado even though it was on the menu. After tasting, I'm sure it wasn't even Don Julio.

If you're a fan of Racer football, then you know about some of the traditions: listening to the awesome marching band or watching "Racer One" gallop around the track after each home team touchdown. Since the stadium is really only one-fourth of a stadium, with a perched view of the US 641 - N. 12th Street business corridor, another tradition involves using timeouts to scope out a post-game eating venue. If you look southeast toward the Olympic Plaza at the corner of 12th and Chestnut, just to the right of the "Dollar" store sign (use your binoculars, if you have them), you'll see the sign for Los Portales. Los Portales (Spanish for portal or entry) is one of at least three popular Mexican places in town. On game day, you'll love it because they know how to deal with crowds. We arrived during the post-homecoming-game rush. Our party of ten was given the option to wait for a large table to open, or divide into tables of six and four, which we chose. Service was fast and pleasant, though with a few language challenges between us and our server. Eventually we got it all worked out. Chips and salsa were abundant, we were kept well watered, the food was consistently prepared and presented, and the prices were reasonable.

don't recommend.. drank 1/2 my coke and there's 6 ants crawling inside my cup, and all we get is an apology as he takes the cup away.

Always great. Does get very busy at certain times. Chips are thin, but I actually like those better! Friends from out of town liked it.

The Willow Bistro immediately caught my eye, so I didn't think twice. The menu had American, Thai, Ethiopian, Mexican, and Mediterranean inspired dishes. There's something for everyone, and you truly can get a taste of the world here. I love an extensive and global menu. But beyond that, I love amazing food. The food at The Willow Bistro is amazing. Everything is made from scratch in the kitchen, which should come as no surprise once you dig in. Everything we had was homey, flavorful, and clearly made with love and intention. Pro tip: do not skip the fruit curry. What a smooth, unique, and flavorsome blend of sweet and savory. I loved everything that was on our table, but this dish was the most memorable. The service? Also phenomenal. Our server was so kind, patient, hospitable, knowledgeable, and empathetic. She was a gem. The setup is also charming, clean, cozy, and welcoming. Everything about The Willow Bistro deserves 5/5 stars. If I'm ever passing through Murray again, The Willow Bistro will be my first stop.
