We stopped here for lunch while traveling. Plenty of parking, even for us pulling a camper. Perfect place for us for lunch. One got the Cheeseburger with fries and slaw. Beware!! Made us wait over 1.5 hours for 2 breakfast orders then as we are leaving want to bring us our food. We called back to speak to a manager because the waitress was "not going to sit there and listen to us complain", called back to speak to a manager and told me to "go fuck myself and to eat somewhere else if I don't like the wait times, this isn't her problem and she could care less." I had heard a lot of good things about this place, decided to try it out. I wasn't impressed at all. I placed a to-go order, not a good idea for first time around. The lettuce on the salad had a lot of brown pieces, the chocolate pie was like fudge in a crust, very thick and almost inedible. I think it had been sitting out for awhile. Gotta give mom and pop places all the credit they deserve. They have some of the best food out there and Martha's is no exception. Their breakfast food is easily some of the tastiest I've had from a restaurant, beating out dedicated breakfast chains like Ihop and the like. The food is plain home style cooking but not consistent. Most of the waitresses are very nice bit the owner is beyond rude. Make sure you're watching when they ring you up so you don't pay for more than you got. Don't try to complain because her backlash isn't worth it. read more

First off, RUN! This place lets anybody who is able carry a gun and sit next to your child. Now, there's a place for guns but that place is NOT in a public restaurant no matter what anybody says; it's not necessary and more a sign of low self-esteem than upholding an "Merikan" right. Second, I don't know who these people are who think this food is tasty and delicious but my guess is they wouldn't know good food if it was suddenly, and likely accidentally, put into their mouths. Or they've been paid or promised a free breakfast if they just post good words. I and my wife, and even my child can tell when food is home cooked and when food is sh**. This food came from cans, bags, and tv dinner containers. On top of that my food came cold! So they can't even figure out the timing of a microwave! This is one of the best restaurants we have visited in a long time. We're from out of state and chanced on this one. Food is excellent, portions ample, service great and price reasonable. I had a plate of small fried oysters, Cole slaw, baked potato, white beans. My husband had the BBQ plate. We'll be back tomorrow for their homemade cobbler. read more

Martha's restaurant is my main go-to for Sunday brunch!! The food is good and well prepared American fare.. the omelets are good sized and delicious!! Hash browns not too greasy and biscuits are homemade fresh daily.. pies are mile high and also " Grandma" worthy of appreciation. Service is prompt and very friendly to kids and older folks alike!! No eyebrows on picky eaters' requests (like me)! Lol. All in all a great, delicious and pocket friendly place to share a nice meal with friends and family. :) P.s.
