It appears that they have dedicated foster parents who help transition these pups from shelter life to permanent placement in their forever homes. They were very honest with us about the dog we were adopting struggles with timidness and fear. They sent someone to do a home visit and we had to do an initial foster to adopt agreement for 2 weeks. If all worked out fine for both Shelby and our family then we were cleared to adopt. Which we did last Thursday. Shelby has had all her initial shots, was spayed and treated for fleas when we adopted her. All we needed to do was provide the love. Done. I would highly recommend Wagging Dog Rescue to anyone who is considering adopting a new member of their family.

There's a pig that gets walked by a staff member intermittently, turtles you can get up and personal with, chickens, owls, hawks, falcons, snakes, starfish, etc. This is a great venue to take your kids. They have activities such as story time, and they also have an area where you can learn about the natives. There's areas to hike around the beautiful lagoon. You can be a member or take a look for the day for about $15 which is very reasonable. I believe it's worth it. They really maximized the space. It's a wonderful place!

Today was my first visit to the North Coastal Art Gallery and I was very impressed. When I walked into the space, the man working greeted me quickly and said I could fill out a small paper choosing my favorite piece, and they do a 'best in show' every month, based on the votes. That painting will be featured and the artist gets a ribbon too. It made the experience interactive, which I really enjoyed. Can't wait to see who wins!

2025 Thanksgiving was the worst memory ever! The band told me that they get charged by the…read moreSalvation Army to play music! Wow, I thought it was the other way around. Don't musicians suppose to play when they perform, instead? Today, indigent folks waited 4-5 hours for a turkey meal & when it arrived it was a cold slab or slice of processed turkey, limp green beans, clumps of gravy & dry stuffing. It taste like cold hospital food! What happened to the home cooked taste? Aaargh..The band died, along with the music. The wait was not worth it, at all! This will go down in history as the pits, the pits or the worst Thanksgiving of my life!!

I put in an application that I was interested in their dog…read moreLola, they gave me a call a couple of days later to talk over the phone, then we met the rescue organization at a park near our home and we fell in love with Lola and took her home that day! They answered all of our questions and more! We have had no issues with the dog whatsoever. The organization was completely honest and very kind! So happy with our new dog and she is so wonderful!! Definitely adopt from this rescue!!
