We came here for dinner. The ambiance and service were great but the food was just ok. We ordered Chicken fajitas w/ rice and beans and a grilled chicken w/ rice and beans. The chips and salsa were good. I don't recommend ordering the Fried ice cream. It was terrible. It tasted like they had fried it in advance and then refroze it.

Great food, awesome service, decorated so festive for Halloween, patio seating was so nice! 6 adults & 2 kids had such a nice evening, waiter was super friendly & kind to our kids. Food was fast, chips & salsa were kept filled, along with drinks. Sorry, food was all gone before pics were taken!

We were a little skeptical about going here after reading the reviews, however made the decision to try it. So grad we did! Drinks are awesome! I ordered the Texas margarita. They did not have one. Ugh! They did make it thou. Ordered a house margarita frozen with a shot grand marnier. Rene, Our server was awesome! Very explanatory with the margarita menu and our meal! We both had the Fajita Burrito Chicken! Loved it and the atmosphere! Most of the reviews are for the other location!

The Los Rancheros Santa Rosa location is fantastic. My family of 6 was seated quickly. Our food came out as ordered hot and delicious! Cheese dip and drinks were perfection! We will add this to our frequented spots on vacation!

Once upon a Time, there was a restaurant called los rancheros, and it was a very small Mexican restaurant. The amount they have grown since I have last been there is absolutely phenomenal. They now have a new private building all to themselves and the food phenomenal. Everything is straight up. Amazing about this place. Highly recommend everything. if I could, I would rate this place 10 stars because I just love it so much. And the mints that they give to you on the way out, don't even get me started on those Keylime mints. They are so good! I love the Mexican vibe all around the restaurant and I ran into one of my favorite servers who still surprisingly works there after six years of my family not going there. To leave on a positive note, highly recommend this place my go to order are three tacos and one quesadilla. Once again, outstanding restaurant.

-0 start Over price!!! The food is franchise Box frozen!!!! The taste is blank! The rice is pre made!! I would not recommend it!!! Not authentic Mexican flavor !!! All the TV channels running American programming!! ( nothing wrong with that) Americanize food!!! It would sale to new customers only I felt sick afterwards!!!(MSD) The service was fast But we don't go to a restaurant only for the service!!! I don't think this place would be here for long!! Restaurants need repeat business!!!

The overall aesthetic of the place was alright, the food? Not so much.

This ain't the best Mexican restaurant to go to. I should I know, I've been to various places at home and here during my trip. Now, this place doesn't have anything special about the food at all. Just some slightly boring food with nothing tasteful added in. (I had rice with beef) Service was nothing special either, server looked rather soulless when leading us to our table. Finally, I'd like to round off with the overall aesthetic and design of the ambience. I will say it does have a sort of abstract feel but that where the appraisal ends. The floor had some kind of sticky feeling while walking around, as if there was constant beverage spills that wasn't cleaned up in a while. Overall, I don't recommend this at all to anybody. I don't really see why this place should even exist if it has this much blandness to the food. The fact that this was the final choice when my family was deciding what to eat is beyond me... I don't suggest eating here....unless your standards for food are seriously low.

To our surprise, the staff was incredibly accommodating. The patio was full, but they were able to seat our entire group in a private dining room. It ended up being even better than we expected--quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a large family gathering. Our server did an outstanding job throughout the evening. Managing a table of 14 people is no easy task, but he was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. We started with three orders of the tableside guacamole, and it was a huge hit. Watching the server prepare it fresh right at our table made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent all around. I ordered the Brisket tacos, which were flavorful and delicious. Our son had the chicken enchiladas, and they looked amazing and tasted just as good. My husband ordered the carne asada plate, and the steak was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. For dessert, we ordered four of the apple pies with a scoop of vinalla ice cream served on sizzling skillets, and they were absolutely outstanding. The sizzling presentation was fun, and the warm apple pie was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. From the attentive service to the delicious food and the unexpected private dining room, Cantina Laredo made dining with a large group easy and enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back the next time we're vacationing in the Sandestin area. Highly recommend! Excellent service, great food, and a wonderful experience for a large group. We would definitely be back next year!

On this occasion the quality and quantity didn't fit the price and was very insulting! I ordered Mahi Mahi with the asparagus and rice. It was the size of a child's meal for starters. The Mahi Mahi was VERY dry. I did tell my server but nothing was done, only an apology. I was also surprised at the tiny size of the asparagus and small portion of rice. I didn't push it because my husband gets embarrassed and will eat a disappointing meal and never complain. This was ridiculous however. His meal was also pretty small for the cost. Maybe it's changed since Covid rocked our lives in so many negative ways that restaurants are cutting back, but to be dried out fish isn't acceptable. I wish our server would have at least offered to replace it. I was just as mad at myself for not asking for a new dish or my money back. Our server was nice. But that didn't make anything better with my meal! Next time I won't be swayed by my dining partners desire to not complain. He also gave the server a VERY generous tip. He's just a really good guy that way but also gets taken advantage of in these type situations! I feel Cantina Laredo should give us a do-over.

We chose to sit outside, and while the service was great, the food was even better. For starters, I had the orange margarita (recommended by our waiter), and wow, it was delicious. The only downside was the number of tiny flies outside, they kept finding their way into my drink. Not sure if that's typical, but I'd probably opt to sit inside next time because of it. We stood there for a while trying to figure out if we needed to seat ourselves or if we should wait on somebody. We were finally noticed and directed to a table. After being seated they brought us chips and salsa. For the most part, I love chips at a Mexican restaurant! They're always so thin and crispy and taste fresh. I guess you can go wrong in some instances, but these were PERFECT! Thin, crisp, and salted. And the salsa was just right. It wasn't too spicy. I ended up ordering the quesadilla and my partner ordered a combination plate. Her combination plate had a tamale that she didn't want so I took it. I can say that the tamale tasted like it came out of a can. It was not authentic at all. I can't go wrong with the quesadilla that's pretty much my go-to. When I got home, I noticed the meat had long pieces with nerves and connective tissue in it. I asked the butcher what cut it was, and he said it was chuck roll. However, as a butcher myself, it looked much more like shoulder clod. There was also a 3.25% surcharge for credit card use added to my purchase, even though I paid with a debit card. When I called the store about the issue, they told me I could come back. When I arrived to request a refund, instead of helping resolve the problem, I had three employees arguing with me at once. They claimed they couldn't give a full refund because of "tax" and the "credit card fee," even though they never even looked at my receipt to verify how I paid or what was actually charged. Another employee insisted there was tax on the meat, which shouldn't apply to uncooked food. Rather than owning the mistake, they kept directing me to speak with the meat department for an exchange when all I wanted was a refund. I also asked to speak with a manager, and they said no manager was available. On top of that, the sanitation practices were concerning. The man working in the meat department was not wearing gloves or a beard net, even though he had a beard. I also saw him grabbing beef feet with his bare hands. That is not sanitary and definitely not what I expect to see in a meat department. As a Mexican butcher myself, I'm honestly disappointed in both the customer service and the quality of the meat. The situation was handled very poorly, and the meat is overpriced for the quality. I definitely won't be coming back.

It is! The Donut Hole most certainly has diner vibes and I suspect the booths are original to its 1978 origins - both of which made for a nostalgic experience. Although named for the sweet, fried confections, The Donut Hole has a huge menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items. My table all ordered breakfast even though it was lunch time. The breakfast was awesome - omelettes, pancakes, poached eggs, cheese grits, coffee and the most delicious rye bread. I had the sausage and cheese omelet and there was something about it that made it better than other omelettes I've had. Also, I loved the rye bread - it was sliced thicker than what I am used to and it was very pillowy. I enjoyed it dry but it was also good with a little butter. We waited about 20 or so minutes for a table, but once seated we enjoyed prompt, attentive, excellent service. And's let's not forget to talk about the fresh made donuts! Oh my, there were a lot of flavors to choose from and none of them disappointed. Initially I went with a chocolate frosted and Bavarian cream filled donut. But then a fresh tray of key line donuts came out and I had to get one of those too. My sister ordered a few and we took them back to our rental, cut them in quarters and had a donut tasting party. Stinky's is an awesome spot for lunch because you can get half of a salad and half of a po' boy or half of a po' boy with a cup of soup. I was tempted by those halfsies combinations but ultimately I went with a basket. Much to my surprise, the basket could be ordered fried, grilled or blackened. I went with blackened shrimp and they were excellent - perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. So many places and people (myself included) overcook shrimp but these were timed perfectly! The basket also included tasty, crispy, big curly fries and hush puppies. What's not to love about fried dough but the hush puppies weren't my favorite. Those shrimp on the other hand . . . I am still thinking about them! I am sorry I am not remembering our server's name because he was awesome and absolutely deserves a shout out. He was super kind, attentive and personable. He had my heart when we offered me a Diet Coke to go. I'd go back to Stinky's just for his hospitality . . . And those blackened shrimp. The atmosphere is very casual and it has its own parking lot. Pretty decent wait but we sat on the patio and listened to live music. Other patrons were kind of jerks and insisted on lining up at the hostess stand and holding the door open while they waited. It obviously didn't get them in faster, made them grumpy, and let a lot of hot air into the restaurant. People, just wait with the door closed. They will come get you. I got a phone call when table was ready which was a little weird. Luckily I answered the call from the unknown number. It was taco tuesday and one of my party had seen it mentioned on Instagram. Server didn't call out the special, so we would not have gotten the discount without asking. Special was something like $2.50 per taco with no side. My family loves a bargain so they had a great time with the deal. Other reviews mention BOGO margaritas, but we were seated 2 minutes after 7 so we missed that deal. I can't speak to anyone else's food but I got empanadas, elotes, and I got my daughter's charro beans and tortilla soup. The empanadas were good but one of them had a sour oil smell. Not amazing, probably would only order again to share and not as my meal. The elotes were a little different than I am used to. It was 4 partial corn cobs and the corn was kind of tough. The main flavor was tajin, not a lot of cream or cheese. The charro beans were the same from the old pedros, and they were the ONLY thing I liked from Pedros. They are still AMAZING. I was also really REALLY impressed with the tortilla soup. It was clearly homemade and so full of veggies and flavor. I could make a meal out of the beans and the soup! The chips and salsa were really good and refilled quickly. Everyone at my table seemed to like what they got. Lots of clean plates and no complaints. I woudl definitely go again.
