We came here for dinner. The ambiance and service were great but the food was just ok. We ordered Chicken fajitas w/ rice and beans and a grilled chicken w/ rice and beans. The chips and salsa were good. I don't recommend ordering the Fried ice cream. It was terrible. It tasted like they had fried it in advance and then refroze it.

Great food, awesome service, decorated so festive for Halloween, patio seating was so nice! 6 adults & 2 kids had such a nice evening, waiter was super friendly & kind to our kids. Food was fast, chips & salsa were kept filled, along with drinks. Sorry, food was all gone before pics were taken!

We were a little skeptical about going here after reading the reviews, however made the decision to try it. So grad we did! Drinks are awesome! I ordered the Texas margarita. They did not have one. Ugh! They did make it thou. Ordered a house margarita frozen with a shot grand marnier. Rene, Our server was awesome! Very explanatory with the margarita menu and our meal! We both had the Fajita Burrito Chicken! Loved it and the atmosphere! Most of the reviews are for the other location!

The Los Rancheros Santa Rosa location is fantastic. My family of 6 was seated quickly. Our food came out as ordered hot and delicious! Cheese dip and drinks were perfection! We will add this to our frequented spots on vacation!

Once upon a Time, there was a restaurant called los rancheros, and it was a very small Mexican restaurant. The amount they have grown since I have last been there is absolutely phenomenal. They now have a new private building all to themselves and the food phenomenal. Everything is straight up. Amazing about this place. Highly recommend everything. if I could, I would rate this place 10 stars because I just love it so much. And the mints that they give to you on the way out, don't even get me started on those Keylime mints. They are so good! I love the Mexican vibe all around the restaurant and I ran into one of my favorite servers who still surprisingly works there after six years of my family not going there. To leave on a positive note, highly recommend this place my go to order are three tacos and one quesadilla. Once again, outstanding restaurant.

-0 start Over price!!! The food is franchise Box frozen!!!! The taste is blank! The rice is pre made!! I would not recommend it!!! Not authentic Mexican flavor !!! All the TV channels running American programming!! ( nothing wrong with that) Americanize food!!! It would sale to new customers only I felt sick afterwards!!!(MSD) The service was fast But we don't go to a restaurant only for the service!!! I don't think this place would be here for long!! Restaurants need repeat business!!!

The overall aesthetic of the place was alright, the food? Not so much.

To our surprise, the staff was incredibly accommodating. The patio was full, but they were able to seat our entire group in a private dining room. It ended up being even better than we expected--quiet, comfortable, and perfect for a large family gathering. Our server did an outstanding job throughout the evening. Managing a table of 14 people is no easy task, but he was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly from start to finish. We started with three orders of the tableside guacamole, and it was a huge hit. Watching the server prepare it fresh right at our table made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was excellent all around. I ordered the Brisket tacos, which were flavorful and delicious. Our son had the chicken enchiladas, and they looked amazing and tasted just as good. My husband ordered the carne asada plate, and the steak was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. For dessert, we ordered four of the apple pies with a scoop of vinalla ice cream served on sizzling skillets, and they were absolutely outstanding. The sizzling presentation was fun, and the warm apple pie was the perfect ending to a fantastic meal. From the attentive service to the delicious food and the unexpected private dining room, Cantina Laredo made dining with a large group easy and enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back the next time we're vacationing in the Sandestin area. Highly recommend! Excellent service, great food, and a wonderful experience for a large group. We would definitely be back next year!

On this occasion the quality and quantity didn't fit the price and was very insulting! I ordered Mahi Mahi with the asparagus and rice. It was the size of a child's meal for starters. The Mahi Mahi was VERY dry. I did tell my server but nothing was done, only an apology. I was also surprised at the tiny size of the asparagus and small portion of rice. I didn't push it because my husband gets embarrassed and will eat a disappointing meal and never complain. This was ridiculous however. His meal was also pretty small for the cost. Maybe it's changed since Covid rocked our lives in so many negative ways that restaurants are cutting back, but to be dried out fish isn't acceptable. I wish our server would have at least offered to replace it. I was just as mad at myself for not asking for a new dish or my money back. Our server was nice. But that didn't make anything better with my meal! Next time I won't be swayed by my dining partners desire to not complain. He also gave the server a VERY generous tip. He's just a really good guy that way but also gets taken advantage of in these type situations! I feel Cantina Laredo should give us a do-over.

When I got home, I noticed the meat had long pieces with nerves and connective tissue in it. I asked the butcher what cut it was, and he said it was chuck roll. However, as a butcher myself, it looked much more like shoulder clod. There was also a 3.25% surcharge for credit card use added to my purchase, even though I paid with a debit card. When I called the store about the issue, they told me I could come back. When I arrived to request a refund, instead of helping resolve the problem, I had three employees arguing with me at once. They claimed they couldn't give a full refund because of "tax" and the "credit card fee," even though they never even looked at my receipt to verify how I paid or what was actually charged. Another employee insisted there was tax on the meat, which shouldn't apply to uncooked food. Rather than owning the mistake, they kept directing me to speak with the meat department for an exchange when all I wanted was a refund. I also asked to speak with a manager, and they said no manager was available. On top of that, the sanitation practices were concerning. The man working in the meat department was not wearing gloves or a beard net, even though he had a beard. I also saw him grabbing beef feet with his bare hands. That is not sanitary and definitely not what I expect to see in a meat department. As a Mexican butcher myself, I'm honestly disappointed in both the customer service and the quality of the meat. The situation was handled very poorly, and the meat is overpriced for the quality. I definitely won't be coming back.

It had a nice kick to it, was full of flavor, and the $10 cup was a generous portion. My partner and I both ordered a cup, and it was easily the best thing we ate. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill. We split the fried redfish basket, and for what it cost, it felt almost criminal. There wasn't a price listed, so getting the bill was a shock (especially because all the other baskets were $30). The fish itself was decent quality, but the breading was heavy, bland, and overwhelmed the redfish. The curly fries were unique, but they left both of us feeling greasy and weighed down afterward. Service was mixed. The hostesses were friendly and welcoming, and our server was pleasant as well, though it felt like there was a strong push to upsell throughout the meal. In the end, two cups of gumbo, one fried fish basket to share, and our total came to $85 including taxes and tip. Considering the quality of the fried basket, the value just wasn't there. If the fish basket alone was around $50, that price is hard to justify. It felt more like a money grab aimed at visitors than a restaurant focused on earning repeat local customers.

Blue Iguana is good! They kept some of the original decor but the interior is dressed up and really nice. I especially like the light up tree that replaced the fountain in the old place. We called ahead for a table for 8 and were told it would be no problem. By the time we arrived 15 min later, it was a bit of a problem. Pretty decent wait but we sat on the patio and listened to live music. Other patrons were kind of jerks and insisted on lining up at the hostess stand and holding the door open while they waited. It obviously didn't get them in faster, made them grumpy, and let a lot of hot air into the restaurant. People, just wait with the door closed. They will come get you. I got a phone call when table was ready which was a little weird. Luckily I answered the call from the unknown number. It was taco tuesday and one of my party had seen it mentioned on Instagram. Server didn't call out the special, so we would not have gotten the discount without asking. Special was something like $2.50 per taco with no side. My family loves a bargain so they had a great time with the deal. Other reviews mention BOGO margaritas, but we were seated 2 minutes after 7 so we missed that deal. I can't speak to anyone else's food but I got empanadas, elotes, and I got my daughter's charro beans and tortilla soup. The empanadas were good but one of them had a sour oil smell. Not amazing, probably would only order again to share and not as my meal. The elotes were a little different than I am used to. It was 4 partial corn cobs and the corn was kind of tough. The main flavor was tajin, not a lot of cream or cheese. The charro beans were the same from the old pedros, and they were the ONLY thing I liked from Pedros. They are still AMAZING. I was also really REALLY impressed with the tortilla soup. It was clearly homemade and so full of veggies and flavor. I could make a meal out of the beans and the soup! The chips and salsa were really good and refilled quickly. Everyone at my table seemed to like what they got. Lots of clean plates and no complaints. I woudl definitely go again.
