Burrito and two of the saddest salsa containers for $3 add on charge.
    Brian H.

Ordered a pork burrito with chips a salsa and the total was $20. Fine in a decent restaurant with quality ingredients - was not the case for either. Burrito is only meat and rice. Paid $6 for a sandwich bag of stale chips and two 1/3 filled dipping cups of hot sauce. Disappointing for even gas station.

I came here for good breakfast tacos/burrito. First the served was so horrible they didn't understand anything I was saying both my orders were wrong I asked for the huevos con chorizo without rice and beans I got the picture you see. Second I ordered my daughter the bacon egg and cheese taco with out cheese add potatoes and the other picture is what we got they were both nasty and not worth 15$ I will not be spending my money on this place and the store its in, doesn't have a lot of options for it to e a convenient place! Price to high service not good and food disgusting

Woke up on a Sunday morning craving a Mexican breakfast.. but I live in Crestview so I knew this would be a challenge-- WRONG! 40 min drive to Destin and ended up at Burritacos. I didn't read the reviews, just saw a couple pics of the food and was like "yes! I'm there"! Pulled up to a gas station and was like "cool, even better cuz I also need gas". omgggg the food was fantastic! I don't care, I don't care, I don't care that it operates inside of a gas station! My pregnant self was so satisfied, I came home and slipped into a post-food coma. I can't wait to go back and try other items. Oh, I had the breakfast burrito. It was huge 10/10 recommend. My husband is Mexican and Jamaican and he approved as well.

    Just gross

Horrible experience and just dirty gross gas station food. The place next door was a million times better. We tried to eat there, but they told us they couldn't serve Mexican so we went to the place next-door. This place.^ and I am disgusted.

This is the authentic Mexican food you've been looking for. This food reminds me of when I lived in Sierra Vista, AZ and we would go to Nogales every weekend. This food is super legit. You can't even see my food in the pic because I bout ate it all before I got a picture in. I had the carne asada quesadilla and my dining companion got the chicken nachos. He also got a carne asada taco. He had been to this spot before so he was familiar with how delicious it is. Next time I come back I'm gonna try the picadillo. The first time I had it was near the El Paso, TX airport! So, delicious! Anyhoo, yes, it is in a gas station so take that for what it's worth. The food is phenomenal which is all that should matter!!!

I'm not going to give a 5 star to a restaurant I never ate in. I've never had the food and never plan on having food here. I paid $50 round trip for Uber to drive me to this restaurant to find out it is in a "Gas Station" Yes. I'm a SNOB when on vacation and want to have a nice Mexican Dinner!!!!! UPDATE. I felt bad giving a review without ever stepping foot in the restaurant. So the next day we went back. Let me just say. My image of what the inside was like was not off at all. Old food sitting out in the open with flies and Old, Dirty as can be and Not one Employee in sight. Zero Stars but YELP forces you to give one‍

(Hit the LIKE BUTTON plz)I love a good hole in the wall authentic Mexican place. It was located in a gas station. I got 4 steak tacos and the corn tortilla tasted great with the steak and cilantro. I would recommended anyone try that like authentic Mexican!

Very good burrito and tacos! The beans were amazing as well. I ordered the al pastor burrito and it was very yummy, I just forgot that all pastor had pineapple in it. What I like is adobada, but that was my mistake, not theirs. Just sharing in case anyone else gets the two mixed up.

    Doesn't even need the sauce!

This place is fire! It is on the left side of the gas station and the smells... Oh my Lord Baby Jesus. I ordered the El Burro Mañanero (breakfast burrito). It was a a burrito of chorizo, egg, potatoes, cheese, rice, beans and LOVE. I watched the customers eating as I was waiting. They were demolishing their food. My burrito was yo got to eat... that is the only reason I remembered to take a picture. The burrito was full of flavor not oily and a perfect mix of all the ingredients. The cashier and the cook were extremely nice and clean cut. I will be back! So I finished my burrito. It was absolutely awesome! The sauce is spicy as fire so be ware!

Really tried to like it but did not come close. The service was eh. Regardless, the food was nothing crazy or worthwhile for the price. It was bland but the sauce bottles made the meal. I ordered the lengua taco, shrimp taco, and a chile rellano. It made me miss the local taco truck from home while I was on vacation if that makes sense. The lengua was soggy and the chile rellano was underwhelming, it really disappointed me. Maybe we went at a bad time.

It really is inside a gas station, but you can get good fried chicken in southern gas stations why not Mexican food. We'll see...

I figured I'd try it out when Tops hamburgers was closed. As others have mentioned, it's inside a gas station, which can be scary. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, food quality and taste. I wish I could give 4.5 stars. It's a little more expensive than I expected for fast food in a gas station, but at least it was good, fresh food. The woman who took my order was friendly and helpful. She didn't treat me like I was stupid when I asked questions about a couple of dishes I'm not familiar with. I've been eating Mexican food my whole life, but it's different depending on region. I ordered guacamole, queso with chorizo (dip), 2 boxes of chips and a chorizo taco with everything. The taco was my favorite, but not by a lot. I love the way they heat the corn tortillas because they were really easy to chew, but still stayed together. That's not an easy balance. It had great, balanced flavor when I added salsa and fresh lime. I love the sauce - great flavor and good spice without being crazy hot. My measure of any Mexican food is the guacamole. If mine is better, then I don't go back most of the time. Theirs is really close. The guac is made there and was really good. It's fresh, with nice chunks of avacado and great flavor. A few more onions than I prefer, but still really good. The queso with chorizo was also good, but not as good as the other 2 items. It was a little greasy and thin for a dip to eat with chips. The flavor was great and I'd probably order it again to take home. Once it's been in the fridge, I can remove the grease and reheat. I'll definitely come back here when I want something fast and I'm in the area.

Vegan tacos, best one I've had in Destin area. They were truly amazing.

And they broke into smaller pieces so nice too. - Salsa: The salsa was delicious, my husband wanted to drink it he loved it so much lol. Happy hour $5 tacos! You get 2 tacos included in this deal. You also can choose between flour or corn shells. We chose flour. Such a fantastic deal!! - Pollo 10/10 Grilled chicken, pico, lettuce, cheese, cilantro sour cream- everything about this taco was amazing. I would eat this every day if I could. - Al pastor 9/10 Pork, pineapple, onion, cilantro, queso fresco- I actually don't think there was any onion on it, but either way it was good. The pineapple paired really well with the pork. The green sauce on the side is spicy, I'm glad it's on the side and you can add at your own risk. - Carnitas 8/10 Pulled pork, cilantro, onion- I know it says pulled pork, but there really wasn't any difference in the meat between the al pastor and the carnitas. This one was my least favorite. It was just kinda plain, and I wish it had some type of sauce or queso or just something to make it better. They did have the spicy green sauce on the side, just was too spicy for me. Dos Amigos 10/10 - Queso Blanco 10/10 Yummy cheese dip! - Guacamole 10/10 Good balance of everything. No spice at all.

I had the brisket tacos, and the flavor combinations were just bad. The lime did not work with the dish at all either. The dip sampler was unbelievable. The elote was a cup of mayo with corn dumped on top. They could not even be bothered to mix it together or add ANY seasoning. It was a complete joke. The burrito was okay, but it probably should not have had guacamole in it. Once again, the flavors just did not work well together. Speaking of the guacamole, the chips were so paper thin they could not even hold up to scooping it. Again, mid. The service was disappointing too. There were no food runners, so our food was barely warm by the time it reached the table. Our server said no to two easy requests that would have added more to the bill. He had too many tables as well. The restaurant itself was clean and looked nice, and the prices were reasonable. In ending, the salsa was weak, and that was the first sign this meal was going to be disappointing. Needless to say, I would not come back even if the meal were free, and that says everything.

I'm always leery about Mexican food - it tends to be heavier than I would like and I often just assume it might be low quality. Because of that pre-disposition, its not very often that a Mexican restaurant impresses me but this one certainly did. First off, my husband and I ordered margaritas and when they asked if we wanted small, medium or large we were like - "um...large". Holy cow, are they ever! We should have actually shared one because these things are huge! We each only finished half and they gave us to go cups for the remainder - popped them in the freezer and finishing them off tonight. And not only are they ginormous, but also delicious. A nice amount of tequila and good flavor! For food, we ordered steak fajitas - very good, thought I would have appreciated some guacamole with it. Tacos Birra - second or third time for my husband having these here because he likes them so dang much. And a 3 item combo with 2 soft shell corn tacos and a chile rellano. They were kind enough to allow my son to go slightly off menu with a carnitas taco instead of the basic ground beef or chicken and he very much liked it. My chile rellano was quite good as well. And since the chips and salsa always matter to my husband - we also enjoyed these throughout our meal. In fact, I even liked the salsa and don't usually eat it.
