I love Vietnamese food and was excited to try their Banh Mi and teas. I ordered #1 bc I love everything and their fruit tea with passionfruit and guava. First, impression, the service was polite and understanding. The sandwich and drink came out within 10 min. Their Banh Mi was flavorful and was in a 9in roll that was lightly crispy and filled pretty well. I am used to shorter rolls that are stuffed way more. I felt like I ate more bread than toppings, otherwise I would rate it higher. It's about a $12 sandwich, on par with Subway footlong prices. The fruit tea was great, although I question the practicality of the canister it was served in. Instead of a plastic cup with a straw/no straw, it was in a plastic can that you can open like a soda can on top. I disliked how I couldn't reseal it or reuse it. If I wanted to recycle it, I'd have to put effort taking out the lemon wedges, which I did in order to. So, if I had the choice, I wouldn't get those cans. Everything costed about $20 before tip. I think in the future, I'll ask if I can get extra meat and veggies to make the Banh Mi feel more full. The place was also very bright and clean. I liked the atmosphere where there's plenty of seating. They also have every table with soup utensils and condiments bc they also serve pho.

First time trying Banh Me and U, and I'm already looking forward to coming back! The menu is quite impressive. They offer quite a variety of Bahn Mi Sammie's, Noodles, salads dang, they also have the Korean Corn dogs!! Let's just say I can come here many times and order something different! Since it was my first time I got the first Banh Mi sandwich on the menu, and it was out of this world! The balance of the savory meats, the pickled daikon radish and the freshness of the cilantro is just EPIC!! The drink menu is extensive, Bobas, Teas, matchas galore!! Again, I'm already focused on what I'm getting next time I come in! The service is friendly and welcoming, we were those people who showed up 30 mins before close.. I know I know. Fail! But I promise we tipped good . They were very appreciative. All in all, this is our new hot spot, can't wait to come back soooooon!!

First time here. Food was good and while I chose a jasmine milk drink, that wasn't my favorite but that's okay, I'll go again and try something different next time. Cute place, parking can be challenging but be patient. Service was served with a smile and they were very helpful

Goi Cuon was the only redeeming factor

For a restaurant with Banh Mi in the name, Id expect the Banh Mi to be a lot better. I got a Banh Mi Thit Nuong (grilled pork) The thit nuong is okay tasting, but it is chopped up into little tiny pieces and doesn't seem to be actually grilled. The bread is what really ruined it for me, they use soft hoagie/sub rolls instead of a crispy baguette, immediate vibe killer. I also got a viet iced coffee, the cup was over 3/4 full with ice, for the price I would expect more than 2 sips of coffee before the cup is empty. Only giving two stars because the goi cuon and peanut sauce were pretty decent, but with plenty of other much better Vietnamese spots in the area, I do not plan on returning here.

We stopped by this Banh Me & U boba spot today for a Mother's Day treat and I'm so glad we did! We ordered 4 boba drinks, a sandwich, and mochi ice cream... everything was absolutely delicious. The customer service was amazing and she gave us some really great sandwich recommendations that did not disappoint. Such a fun and tasty experience. The decoration is also so cute, the place was clean and fresh. We'll definitely be coming back!

I was so full on only half of the delicious pork banh mi sandwich and half of the shrimp spring roll! The sandwich has the delicious soft bread with soft crust and loaded with the meat and vegetables. Several sauces including a chili/oil, siracha, hoisin, etc. were set on each table. The shrimp spring roll came with the peanut sauce. The order itself came with two very generously sized spring rolls. The triple chocolate moor had a hard ganache with white and dark chocolate mousse inside. Was light in texture but yet filling! Clean restaurant. Very nice staff. Busy on a Saturday lunch but plenty of parking to the side and front of the store. Highly recommend. Next time, I saw the pho, and it looked amazing. Will come back for that another time!

I was invited and it was my first time. The place was clean & warm decor. The young lady was extremely nice and helpful for sure. Got my grilled pork barn mi(very good & have to say), along with the mango sunrise fizzy. The drink was refreshing and tasty. I needed another item that was without all the bread so I got the chicken hot plate. It was pretty good but not what expected and funny enough served with a whole sandwich hoagie bread lol. I then opted for 2 desert items as they looked awesome. The young lady was nice enough to discount the two desserts. they were both really good.

This place is delicious! The food was amazing I had a Banh me sandwich, grilled pork spring rolls and a strawberry fizz drink. The food tasted great was very fresh. The drink was very refreshing not full of ice. The customer service was excellent as soon as I walked in I was welcomed by an employee. The food was all made fresh and came out quickly. The restaurant itself was very clean and there was alot of seating.

I love their brown sugar boba. Trying the vegetarian banh without jalapeño. Will enjoy when I get home. The service is fast, efficient, and friendly.

Banh Me & U? Yes! This is one of my favorite spots whenever I'm in ABQ. The service is top tier, extremely sweet, & professional. The ambiance is nice as well. Plenty of seating. After every visit, I feel like they improve more & more. They expanded their table seating too.

Phô soup was hot and fresh

First time here! Bright, clean atmosphere with a very extensive menu including phô, banh mi and noodle bowls. Their fruit teas and matcha drinks are made fresh and served quickly! The staff is also very friendly! Highly recommend!

This is now the best Vietnamese place I have been in, I absolutely downed the sauce and food in the "Steak Hot Plate B1" with the included bread. It was so good, This place has been open for over a year and the place looks like it just opened yesterday. The service was the best and was fast-serving. And finally, the drink I got ("Mango Fizzie") was delicious. I brought the cup home. I will come here again.

What a lovely cute spot for lunch or brunch! They do have a decent selection of Vietnamese bites. The pho was good, but my favorite were the shrimp and pork eggrolls that I KNOW they made in house because the filling wasn't the typical Chinese take out eggrolls. So fresh and YUMMY! The drinks were delicious, the best was the Me & U fruit tea that had such a fruity but not overly sweet refreshing taste! My banana matcha drink was ok, needed more banana flavor. They also had a case of cakes and macarons but I was far too full . Overall I enjoyed my meal and drinks and the establishment is modern, clean but cute!

The shrimp is crunchy and flavorful. This place rolls it when you order it because the wrap is not cold or hard. It's soft and room temperature. It's just perfect. The peanut sauce is creamy and has a slight taste of chocolate due to its creaminess. Service is friendly and quick. The ambiance is family casual with a conversation buzz. Pad Thai with lemongrass beef is in need of a few vegetables. The size of the pad Thai is huge . It has a sweet , citric and crunchy peanut flavor. The large portion of beef is not the lemongrass marinated beef. I ate it all and I'm satisfied. I will not order it again specially because their egg noodle lemongrass stir fry is substantially more delicious and loaded with fresh vegetables. The sticky rice and mango is so good I can't even describe other than freshly sliced sweet mango in a coconut rice pairing. Creamy and flavorful.

If you prefer a thicker and stronger-flavored broth, this might not be your favorite. I recommend their lemongrass soup (bun bo hue). The noodles are thicker and chewier than standard pho noodles, and the soup has richer flavors. Their soup was not as flavorful as I would like, but this cleaner version surely will be more approachable.

The cold cuts were flavorful, the bread was fresh, and the meat to bread ratio was just right since I like more meat than bread. This is an excellent option for a quick lunch, but I would recommend staying to eat if you can. The decor is simple, the space is clean, and there are a few tables available. It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. Their banh cuon, thin rice noodles filled with ground pork and wood ear mushrooms, was good, though still second to the sandwiches. They also offer pate chau, a flaky puff pastry filled with pork pate, including a New Mexico style version with chicken and green chile. They have a variety of Vietnamese desserts like che, which I did not get a chance to try this time. My coworker loved their traditional Vietnamese hot coffee. I do not drink coffee, but I did enjoy one of their smoothies, which was refreshing and delicious. It's not down to an agreed list of two or three. When you open up the question, you get a dozen or more answers. That situation can mean many or all of several things: (1) Maybe Albuquerque really is VN food heaven; (2) Maybe there is no consensus on what constitutes really good VN food; or (3) Maybe most people pick the first VN restaurant they like and stick with it. I did #3 for years, sticking with Vietnam 200 and Viet Taste. Well, things change -- great restaurants slip and deliver mediocre experiences. Or we just get tired of same old, same old, and want to look around. I began looking around with a trip to Saigon City, an old restaurant in a slick new location in the same strip with Pars Middle Eastern restaurant in 25 Way. I went last night with my daughter and son-in-law, both experienced eaters. I previewed their menu on their website (a good thing when faced with a huge menu). I selected three items I wanted to try. Leaving the Pho for a later trip, I chose to begin with the green mussels stir fried and dished up with spicy veggie bits. There were six on the plate. I had to move quickly to get two of them. What a treat! I could make a meal of a plate of six of these. Next, I went for B3, the code for grilled chicken and veggies over vermicelli noodles with chili sauce. I like my food spicy. After the mussels, my hopes were up. Well, B3 was a very tasty dish. I would order it again anytime. Fresh, fresh, fresh. But pretty mild in the spice category. The chicken was nicely spiced, and there were red flakes in the vermicelli noodles, but not nearly enough of them. I tried my daughter's pork and vermicelli and thought it a bit better. We finished the meal with sicky rice & mango. The menu offers only sticky rice and banana, which is itself a very nice dessert, but our server mentioned that we could have mango instead for slightly higher charge. Since sticky rice with mango in coconut sauce is one of the five greatest desserts in the world, I went for it with gusto. This dish was the only slight stumble in the meal. I thought the rice was a bit underdone and the sauce not too thrilling. Not bad, but not at the standard set by the other dishes. I look forward to returning soon to try the pho. The service was very good, very friendly, and very helpful. I recommend sitting near the front of the restaurant and away from the service area where the staff conduct loud conversations among themselves. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and lighted. I was very comfortable eating at this fine restaurant.
