    Super cute Galentine's cookies!
    Kristine F.

Thank you to YELP for showcasing Rude Boy Cookies' personalized Valentine's cookies! Support local Black owned businesses! Got these adorable sweets shipped all the way from Albuquerque, New Mexico! Yes, I went the extra mile to give my work Galentines an extra special treat this year. Their talented baker is named Kristin, so when I saw her name drawn so beautifully on a cookie, I had to have one! Just add an "E" at the end. Choose from basic pink hearts trimmed in red or grey/blue, OR choose the sprinkled ice cream design in pink/purple or purple/blue. All are absolutely gorgeous! I waited a week after delivery to eat mine because it was so darn cute. Taste-wise, yummy sugar vanilla flavor with the perfect shortbread crumble. Not too sweet royal flood icing decor. Names were so lovingly drawn on in impeccable calligraphy. It can get pricey, but for cookies this magnificent and personalized, I'll pay the price and shipping fee again! Packaging was classy too: window boxes filled with white or red crinkle paper to protect the goods. Thank you, Rude Boy Cookies!

Delicious and yummy cookies. Loved watching them. Being made on site. They were warmed and delicious. This is a must try and they looked great for custom cookie orders.

Cake Batter Chocolate Chip ($2.50)- 3.5/5 stars

Rude Boy is one of the few dessert places open late in Albuquerque, and we stopped by after a late dinner. They have a lot of different cookie options, include keto friendly and gluten free options (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=SFyFpa0q64UvzoqLrrmeSg&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg). They even have dog treats available for sale! In addition to cookies, they also had 5 flavors of ice cream available. They weren't busy around 9:45am on a Tuesday night, and I tried: -Cake Batter Chocolate Chip ($2.50, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=8mBIglR0SWfeBqbMV84Iww&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Solid cookie, but the frosting on top was a little too sweet. However, I liked the flavor of the actual cookie. -Mint Chocolate Chip & Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=op63GfjGA_2h2FwP5aOOQA&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum- their ice cream was nice and creamy. I liked both flavors, and that the ice cream wasn't too sweet. There is plenty of seating available if you want to have your dessert there. Parking was easy to find late at night, but street parking spots are limited during the day.

    Delicious cookies!

I was delightfully surprised when I noticed some cookies and coffee in the teacher break room at the school I work at. I was told that they were donated to the teachers from rude boy cookies! I ate a cookie and it was a wonderful, tasty and unexpected treat that made my day! Thank you rude boy cookies for supporting local teachers and schools. I absolutely recommend supporting this local business!!!

Oh my god the customer service was amazing!! The employee who helped me and my friend was SO Nice and very good at selling! I got a limited time fruity pebbles ice cream sandwich and it was so good!! The atmosphere is really nice and I can tell all the employees are friends. I'll definitely go here again.

I am BEYOND thrilled to introduce you all to my favorite cookie, The Duke. This beautiful cookie is more like a piece of art and changes daily according to what the baker feels like adding to the mix. This rude boy in particular has funfetti, chocolate chips, and STRAWBERRY POPTART. Every other cookie I have tried is simply amazing. I highly recommend the sugar cookies and the peanut butter and jelly. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices, though! Thank you to Kristin and Stephanie for having me over for a wonderful cookie adventure!

Closed! They need to update their information on Yelp. I ended up walking there, only to leave disappointed.

Sweet favorites are any of the toasts. My most recent one was their seasonal Peach Raspberry Toast. Of their savory options, the Elote Croissant Cup is fun and worth trying. Also loved the red chile sourdough loaf. The elote cup thing didn't hold together well but overall everything was amazing and it was a great start to our New Mexico trip. If we had more days in ABQ, I would've totally come back. Also, had their own parking lot and easy to park. We ended up eating in the car with the AC on.

Amazing sandwich, fresh, delicious! While we were enjoying our food, Pratt Morales, the owner and master baker, came out and talked to us for a while. This was a real treat, great positive attitude and love for what he does. He even introduced us to one of his specialties the Turkey shaped bread he makes for Thanksgiving. So popular now he gets hundreds of orders per year. We left with some biscochitos and other cookies to go, and a desire to try more things when we are back in Albuquerque.

He even joked that they were "out of everything," which got a laugh and set a fun, relaxed tone. The music was rocking when I walked in, which I loved, although it eventually switched to something a little more mellow. Still, the overall atmosphere was inviting and made me want to stick around. I ordered an Iced Americano, and it was solid. You can tell they use quality espresso, but I personally would have liked it just a bit stronger. Next time, I'll probably ask for an extra shot to make it perfect for my taste. The real standout was the cinnamon roll. It had the ideal texture with a gooey, cinnamon-filled center, and they certainly didn't skimp on the cream cheese frosting. There was enough frosting to induce a sugar overdose, in a good way. The shop itself was clean, comfortable, and designed to make you want to stay awhile. They have a huge selection of board games and LEGO sets, so you could easily spend a couple of hours hanging out with friends or family. I also asked about the stage and learned they host karaoke and open mic nights a couple of evenings each week, which adds another fun reason to come back. Between the genuinely friendly staff, quality coffee, incredible cinnamon roll, and welcoming atmosphere, this is a place I'll definitely be visiting again.

Friendly service and faces always warm up a cold morning, and we definitely got that at Los Ranchos Bakery. The menu is simple and the baked goods look great! We ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon and green chile cheddar bagel, a lavender latte, and a red chile mocha. A cherry tart and a cinnamon roll to go. The drinks were, unfortunately, missing a few ounces and flavor. The sandwiches were smaller than I expected. The bagel had a hint of heat and chile. It was perfectly toasted and held the egg and bacon quite well. The bacon was crispy and the egg was well done. It was filling in the end. The baked goods will have to wait until tonight but I've had their scones before and they were excellent! I'm betting on excellence on the tart and cinnamon roll. Overall, this is a nice local coffee shop that can be a great alternative to a chain coffee shop. The space is nice for some work or chatting with friends and family. Don't bet on the coffee, but definitely go for the baked goods!
