So all the hype around the new location is totally worth it. I absolutely love that they are using the space specifically to host different workshops. I might just have to sign up for one but idk if I should subject anyone to my stick figure level drawing skills Also off street parking on Central, need i say more? The cookies are always almost too good to be true. This time I went for a classic sugar cookie with some strawberry ice cream and it was a pretty solid combo. The staff was super friendly, immediately greeting me upon entry as well as super helpful at the counter. 10/10 for customer service. Again, I'm really excited they're in a larger spot that feels like more of a place you can actually hang out instead of just get your sweet treat and go. Yes, I went the extra mile to give my work Galentines an extra special treat this year. Their talented baker is named Kristin, so when I saw her name drawn so beautifully on a cookie, I had to have one! Just add an "E" at the end. Choose from basic pink hearts trimmed in red or grey/blue, OR choose the sprinkled ice cream design in pink/purple or purple/blue. All are absolutely gorgeous! I waited a week after delivery to eat mine because it was so darn cute. Taste-wise, yummy sugar vanilla flavor with the perfect shortbread crumble. Not too sweet royal flood icing decor. Names were so lovingly drawn on in impeccable calligraphy. It can get pricey, but for cookies this magnificent and personalized, I'll pay the price and shipping fee again! I can never pass up a cookie shop so when we Rude Boy, we had to stop in. The cookies were suprisingly very good, dense and filling. We got a handful of cookies to try but the most memorable one to me was this German Chocolate cookie which was almost cake like and had a nice creamy frosting. Perhaps it was the time of day we walked in, but I wish they had more variety to try. We definitely stopped in at least one more time before leaving ABQ. read more

Stopped in unexpectedly "just to try a cookie" while passing by. Oh my goodness, the blueberry lemon cookie was mouth watering delicious! And it was enormous, my wife and I shared it and it took a couple days to eat, let me tell you about it. The cookie had several textures to it, the center was soft and melts in your mouth, the edges were crispy and the cinnamon crumble added an extra crunch and flavor that put it over the top! I know rude boy cookies has been here for a while but we had never been. The drive is a little far out for us but for our first go, it was worth it. We ordered out a ice cream cookie sandwich. They packed everything separately for us which we appreciated. The first cookie sandwich was two sugar sprinkle cookies with cookies and cream. This was delicious and I look forward to this cookie mix again! The second cookie sandwich was two salted chocolate chip cookies with vanilla bean ice cream and it was equally delicious. One of my friends invited me to Rude Boy Cookies to celebrate her birthday. I thought, "that's a cool name. I wonder if it has something to do with ska." And after venturing down to near UNM from Rio Rancho and arriving at the location, why yes, it had everything to do with ska. So I like ska. the music playing in the restaurant was 1st and 2nd wave ska (i was told they have a 3rd wave ska music block in the evening). How often do you get to hear classic ska in a public location? Not too often. The decor is checkered red and black themed. I think my siblings would enjoy this place for the ska theme. The cookies... So that's why we were actually there! There is a loyalty program you can join. I didn't thid time, so I'll have to when I go back. There were several different types of cookies. I went with a caramel apple cider cookie. it had chunks of caramel in it. I had it served heated at the recommendation of one of co-owners (at least that's what I think she was based on things she had said). What I want to try next time is a personalized ice cream sandwich. it looks like you choose the ice cream and the cookies. I'll definitely be back. There's a good variety of cookies, including standards and specialty cookies that rotate through. I love this atmosphere. The shop owner was extremely welcoming. When I got there, some chump actually bought most of her cookies for a meeting or something so my choices were limited. Nonetheless.... My friends and I got the classic chocolate chip cookie and white chocolate macadamia. These cookies are big enough to share, especially if you have screaming children! But what I liked about it was the fact that there was a display so very friendly for a visual chooser (like myself) and kids. She has a cool milk bar with different shots of flavoring. The cookies could be warms, made into a waffle, AND/or served with ice cream. This is a child's paradise for sure. They have some dining inside of the weather is bad (it rarely is in ABQ), but the best place to sit is out on the patio. To make it even better, it's in the Brock Light District, a cool street with a good vibe. I rate on the price bell curve, so my ratings are value-based. My son and I visited this place on Monday night, and were very happy with our order. The cookies were soft and fresh and the ice cream was good. We shared one of their ice cream sandwiches, with a chocolate-chocolate chip cookie on top and a peaches and cream cookie on the bottom, pistachio ice cream in between. Yes, I know, a very strange combination. We had actually ordered a deconstructed ice cream sandwich, but they went ahead and constructed it. You can get the cookies on the side of the ice cream, which is what we had wanted since we got two different cookies, but it all worked out in the end and it was delicious. The ladies working the counter and in the back were very nice, and the place as clean and neat, as was the ladies room. We did not get any of this because we were already full from dinner and the ice cream sandwich, but they do have milkshakes, a variety of different milks (plain, chocolate, almond, soy), and many natural flavorings for your milk if you so desire, like strawberry, Peanut butter, banana, raspberry and others.
