I'm the first Elite Yelper to review. I'm so privileged. I gave Los Remedios Steak House a 4.5 and rounded up. Ordered Alambrez with Pastor. The taste is so incredible with the a generous amount of pastor, bacon, jalapeño, pepper, onions tomatoes and cheese. The flavors of all these ingredients are so perfect for one another. My mouth watered as I was eating it. Photo and video attached. To be honest, I don't think I've had anything else but that one dish with the side of beans. It's that good. Facility is very clean. My first time here , and I gotta say it's soo loud !! We didn't get greeted right away , we waited until someone noticed us in the front , so they said to sit anywhere, we pick a booth . It was next to a bunch of kids that were running around the place in and out of the kitchen back and forth , I'm guessing the kids belonged to the owners of restaurant. I would have loved to give this a 5 star rating but during our meal our beverages ran dry and had to wait to ask the waitress for refills on both our menudo and drinks. We got 2 menudos, 2 drinks, a side of refried beans and a side of pata as the additional free refills of mendudo do not come with them of just under $39. I think its a great price as most places charge $12 and up for just one bowl. I wanted to ask if homemade tortillas were available but I forgot. I ordered a veggie burrito and it had potatoes, rice that tasted like rice-a-roni, grilled onions, beans and a piece of broccoli. The chicken soft tacos had square bits of what was suppose to be chicken but were dry little tasteless squares. The beef soup was mostly slithery slips of fat. Not what I expected from a restaurant that's suppose to be serving Mexican food. The restaurant itself was just VERY old, dark and dirty. This is a very causal, homey type restaurant. If you're looking for something upscale this is not it. However the menudo is delicious and all you can eat on Sundays. I come here on the weekends often and get the menudo. I always get a michelada on the side because they are pretty cheap and bomb. Menu is pretty simple but just ask to see if they make anything that's not on it. Overall good hole in the wall spot that's passed up on too often. read more
