Spur of the moment decision to come here. There was plenty of seating and parking (off street and street), so that's definitely a plus. I've been here a few times and there has always been parking available. The inside is pretty small but they also have exterior seating, which on a nice day can absolutely be incredible. Our server was good, maybe on the slower side, but there were only two of them taking care of all the tables. He was friendly, and responsive when we made a request. I had the Philly Cheesesteak which was flavored well. My only complaint was the meat was a little dry. The bread was good but maybe if it was toasted could have elevated it just a bit. The daughter had the shrimp Alfredo. Different story. It was absolutely amazing! They gave 6 fairly descent size shrimp which was cooked well. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the Alfredo sauce was YUMMY! I will definitely go back and order the Alfredo pasta next time. Overall recommend this place. Steak and Crabcake combo was great but crabcake was a little bit undercook for our taste, but the whole meal was excellent. Jambalaya pasta was tasty! Would be wanting a bit more sausages though. Fish Tacos was too simple - lightly fried fish placed on the tortilla with tiny spoonful of red salsa. Was hoping it would have some taste bling like coleslaw of mango or something to compete with other places. I ended up just eating the fish with the salad, defaulted the purpose of tortilla. My best is the spicy mango margarita - so tasty and refreshing and just the right spicy for me. A passerby asked about it and reported its excellent taste! Service was excellent - very attentive. Interestingly, they separated our bills. I like the foresight. It can always happen to a group of people - for us - 3 pax. Ambiance is perfect. Cute little spot on the waterfront. Went in here after finding out DeVino is 21+ to even sit on the patio. Ordered the Pittsburg Margarita, Coconut Margarita, and the Passion fruit Lemon Drop with egg rolls for snacking. Drinks were a tad sweet but were good. Egg rolls tasted fresh too. Great place to hangout and have drinks at the patio, they have happy hour Tuesday -Friday from 3-6 pm. The food was ok , they pretty much serve everything with ranch :) I ordered a tuna melt but is not the traditional tuna sandwich they mixed the tuna with onion and tomato it was ok. I came here by myself a couple of weeks ago and ordered the seafood pasta. It was absolutely delicious, generous in portion, and very fulfilling. I enjoyed it so much that I came back and brought a friend with me. I recommended him the seafood pasta because of how great my experience was. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. My friend's seafood pasta looked like it was only about half the portion I received on my first visit, and it definitely wasn't as fulfilling. I was expecting the same quality and consistency, but that wasn't the case. I ordered the crab salad and specifically asked for ranch instead of blue cheese, but it still came with blue cheese. Between the smaller portion and my order being made incorrectly, this visit didn't live up to my first experience. I hope the restaurant can be more consistent because I know how good the food can be. read more

I visited The Waterfront Grill & Cafe for brunch and was looking forward to a peaceful meal by the water. Unfortunately, my experience was ruined by a serious sanitation issue and the staff's lack of response. There was a group of three men drinking from two mimosa towers who were noticeably intoxicated and being loud. While the noise was annoying, what happened next was completely unacceptable. These men repeatedly went behind a nearby pillar and urinated on the ground just a few feet away from where guests were eating. I brought this to my server's attention and asked him to notify management. He told me that he had informed the manager. When I asked whether anything was going to be done about it, he simply said "no." I was shocked that management apparently chose not to address customers urinating near dining tables. No one should have to eat a meal while people are relieving themselves next to the dining area. Beyond being disgusting, it raises serious concerns about cleanliness, health, and customer safety. The fact that staff and management were aware of the situation and failed to intervene made the experience even worse. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this level of disregard for basic sanitation and guest comfort is unacceptable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that future guests do not have to experience what I did. read more

Keeping the 4 star rating as an update to a previous review. My famiy and I went for breakfast on Mother's Day. We got there at the perfect time and got a great seat on the patio. Everyone enjoyed their food and the Moms enjoyed our Mimosas and Bloody Mary. The only complaint/disappointment I have was the rice served with my Chilaquiles. The rice had no flavor and it closely resembled the pre-packaged rice by Del Real. Waterfront, if you are serving your customers this rice with out at least adding your own touch to make it less dry and more flavorful, please stop. The wait time once the food came and as the restaurant filled up started to get longer. We waited quite some time for our bill to come and for our server to bring to-go boxes. We didn't mind the wait so much since it was such a nice morning out and we were enjoying each others company. My Mother-in-law and I will be back soon for lunch on the patio. read more

There is indoor and outdoor seating. We decide to sit outside. Be prepared to deal with the wind. The food we ordered tasted amazing. It was funny because we all ordered pasta. Pasta with shrimp and chicken and Pesto Pasta. They were all amazing. We also ordered calamari and garlic bread, also no complaint there. I give the service 2 stars. Our waiter which shall remain nameless was a bit grumpy. We came for brunch and the guy was already in a bad mood (my opinion). Anyway, I'd never been at the restaurant and me and my family were catching up. I wasn't sure what to order. He basically told me to hurry up and order otherwise we may have to wait in line cause there are other customers. Well obviously! Anyway, that was rude. Next, I checked in on the Yelp app and a coupon popped up. The same waiter that waited on us said, they no longer honor those Yelp discounts (maybe it should be taken down). People will be disappointed if they can't use it. But, he did let me use it. Overall experience was just ok. The ambiance and the food made up for the mediocre service. We sat inside and the table and surface seemed clean enough but it was obvious that the air vent on the ceiling had not been cleaned for some time and keeps me from giving it a higher rating. The price is also a little high for the casual diner vibe in our opinion. But the food was solid and the menu was varied enough. I would try them again if returning to the area. The camarones de diabla was indeed spicy as advertised and described and this if frequently not the case in a restaurant. It was a good sized portion as well. When he took our order he was rushing us, his facial expressions when we asked questions seemed like he was annoyed. My parents only speak spanish and even when he was taking our order he would only talk English (and he forsure sooke spanish) We never got our appitizer so we just canceled it. Oysters were NOT fresh. One of our burgers had one tomatoe only and this was the piece. Clam chowder bowl was bland no flavor just takes like cream. What a hidden gem in Pittsburg! We wanted the waterside feel of Pier 39 but weren't going to take that hour and half drive in traffic... so this was a great option! The food was so good! First time here, but my husband and his family has been coming here for years. Mom-in-law wanted to grab breakfast so we came here. Small parking lot out front, decent for a Sunday morning. Small interior so there's minimal seating inside, but plenty of people dining outdoors (it was too windy for our liking). We were greeted after a staff member helped another guest with checkout, and seated immediately afterwards. Our food came out shortly after ordering. Pretty fast service! What we got: * Huevos Rancheros (4/5) -- This was surprisingly my first time ever trying this dish, and it was pretty good! I loved the red sauce they used. Really good spice to it, I couldn't stop eating! Beans and rice complimented it really well. * Eggs Breakfast (3.5/5) -- Can't go wrong with eggs, sausage, and toast, am I right? Hubby thought the breakfast was just ok. Nothing mind blowing, but it did the job. - Waterfront Waffles (4/5) -- Another can't-go-wrong breakfast. Mom and the hubs really liked the waffles! And of course, had to have the egg and bacon sidekicks. Overall, nice first experience both food and service wise! Our server was super upbeat and friendly. I asked what kind of oysters - she didn't know so I asked why size they were and she said medium. Fair enough, we ordered (6) oysters. For entrees, he had the clam chowder in bread bowl and I had the salad with the fish and chips. The clam chowder was good although it had carrots. The salad also had weird cuts of carrots. Maybe they were trying to get rid of the carrots in the kitchen. I ate it all. The fish and chips were good. The chips were shoe string fries and the fish was heavy battered. I still ate it all. What we did not eat was all the oysters. They came out large and in charge. It was hard to eat and I was doubting the freshness. Overall this place is good. You dine in or outside. The menu has a large variety of items including ceviches. I would come back here again for drinks. read more
