Literally a hidden gem! I usually prefer my tacos on corn tortillas, but I gave the chicken tacos on flour tortillas a shot and it was so delicious! I love that they made the cheese crisp! The customer service from Noelle was top tier as soon my husband, daughter and I walked up to the food truck. The location was in a secluded area, outdoors (but covered, which I loved). The Birria Tacos were AMAZING!! The chips and queso dip were so good as well, it had a hint of jalapeno in it.

The servers are nice and there's seating outside. However, they are from LA. They are not really from San Diego. The carne asada burrito was so small that I could fit it in the palm of my hand. It was less than 3 1/2 inches long and it was smaller around than 2 inches . When I question them and ask them if this really was the size of a $13 burrito I was assured that it was. I'm from San Diego fifth generation lived there 60 years myself and I have never seen such a tiny burrito. The food tasted OK but it is definitely not San Diego Mexican food and I confirm that when they told me they were from Los Angeles. I would not waste my money at this place unless you wanna talk to some really nice servers. The food is not delicious at all. Definitely not worth the price they're charging for such small items. When my child was three, they could've finished this thing in a few bites. read more

My Gracious Alive this place is fantastic! The street tacos are just insanely delicious. We also tried the carne asada fries and they were amazing as well. House made hot sauce has so much flavor. picked this place based on other reviews. one review showed the 228 burrito 'as big as her forearm' and jam packed with fillings, especially meat. another review saying it was reminiscent of socal mexican food, & that's what sold us (it's been so hard finding good mexican food since moving to MS). we picked the pollo asado burrito- since it was priced the same as the 228, we figured it would be the same size we saw referenced in the review. it took over 15 minutes to receive even though we were the only people there the whole time & this was the only thing we ordered (husband & i weren't super hungry so we thought this would be enough to split. luckily it came with chips & salsa). not only was the burrito small (esp for the price) but the tortilla was certainly big enough to contain more food. half the burrito was folded tortilla inside the burrito. never seen this much tortilla folded in besides from a low quality taco bell. giving 2 stars instead of 1 bc the flavor was still good. not the best, but not the worst. read more

This little place is a "permanent" food truck location in the back part of the parking lot of the Nissan Dealership. There is outside seating and they offer Southern California/Mexican cuisine that is amazing! The large burrito is as big as my forearm. I could only eat half and the rest the next day for lunch. The churros are absolutely phenomenal. Yes, it's a "food truck" but I don't think it's going anywhere easily or soon. The service was good.. took a little longer for the food but good food DOES and I didn't mind the wait. It was WELL worth it! They have stone tables outside and a nice covered area. You have to check it out. I was thoroughly impressed and have given it one of my seldom-issued, coveted 5-star reviews. read more
