Good place for breakfast tacos. They're made fresh, the tortillas and fillings are warm, all the salsas are great in all heat levels and they're cheap. That's the definition of a good breakfast taco to me. It's not fancy, attached to a convenience store but we weren't looking for a fine dining experience. The food is a solid 8 or 9. The service and "Fairhope friendliness" is a constant 1, with an occasional 5 mixed in there. My family frequents this shop a lot because the food is very good and so are the prices BUT we are all tired of the rudeness! Tonight when I pulled up 5min before close the woman ran to the door to lock it, I said wow that's rude and drove to the drive through. They wouldn't answer on the speaker so I drove around to the window and the woman gave me a death stare and motioned aggressively they were closed. Whelp actually the sign says you're open another 5 min!! This has happened to us on 5-6 occasions!! The worst being at 12 min to close. The woman rudely told us we could take it to go because they were closed! What?! We have been sitting eating and told they were closed and asked to leave. Unreal!! The owners have to be aware of this and either condone and or support this behavior!! The teenagers around her give better service, WITH their air pods in (eye roll)!!! read more

Would go 2 1/2 stars. Pros: Solid Mexican food at a low price. But the cons are starting to become more pronounced. Beyond the location, a gas station, the service has gone down hill and my expectations are very low for what is essentially a fast-food Mexican joint. My recent experience is when you don't immediately know what you want or ask questions about a menu item the annoyance from the server is palatable. Seriously, don't need an attitude when I'm politely asking one simple question about a food item. And the irritable attitude has been present the last 4 visits. Can totally understand a off-day or two. But 4 in a row? May have to find a new option. read more

Best Mexican food in Fairhope. I hated cheese until a few years ago I got their quest dip and chips. Now I get it at least a few times a month. They also cater parties. I went to a birthday party last week and they had 2 platters and 8 bags of chips from los tacos. Fantastic. read more

We ate here on our vacation, practically everyday. We actually tried all three of their locations and ALL were great! We should know, we come from Southern California where the Mexican fast food is the BEST. Well, Alabama got lucky cuz they got Los Tacos, and I heard the owners were from cali too, so they know their mexican food! Their tamales are VERY good. They were very moist. and we LOVED the Tacos! We had both soft corn and hard shell tacos. The soft corn tacos are big, not the lil street ones. I really LOVED the hard shell tacos. I had the fish, shredded beef and chicken. SOOO GOOD. The shells weren't too greasy. they had the perfect crunch, yet did not cut your mouth like so many other taco shells do. Don't get me started on the green salsa. Among the best green salsa at any restaurant/Mexican food place that we have eaten. The quesadilla's were great too! Next time, I'm gonna try the taco salad. I heard it was popular and looks super yummy... Lastly, the service was fantastic for a fast food joint and they kept the place super clean. I go to this location because I work in Fairhope but it's the worst. Twice in one week they have made the same mistake with my order. I ordered chips and salsa because I love their salsa but received queso instead! How do you make that mistake??? Twice??? The queso sucks and is NOT what I wanted! I do not have time to go back and let them correct it as I only have a thirty minute lunch. On another occasion I ordered a beef quesadilla and taco only to receive chicken and no taco. With a short lunch I had to eat something I didn't want and also pay for it. I'm done. I will only be visiting the Daphne and Foley locations from now on. read more

Probably the very best Tex mex our area had to offer. I've tried a lot of things off the menu and have been eating here for over 7 years. I have always had good service and never been disappointed with the food. Coming from our west, I can honestly say this is the best in our area for taste and consistency. I have been a long time patron of los tacos. I want to say that the food is still some of the best I've had in alabama since moving here from California 15 yrs ago. So you must ask why the one star? The female employees that service the window and answer the phone are probably some of the rudest people I have run into in a long time.
