Most disappointing lunch. Our waiter was not attentive and was rude, he never came around to refill the water, chips or salsa. (they weren't busy but he seem to disappear) we had to ask another waiter to find him so we could get our checks. He seems irritated that we asked for our receipts once we paid. Finally brought the receipts and just turned around and walked off. The food was not that good, nothing compared to Los Tios on Kirkwood and Memorial. We won't be going back here. read more

This was our first time to come here, and stay, because it is always packed on weekends. We had to wait 35 min, I heard other parties that came after us say an hour...so be prepared to wait. I loved the interior design, it reminded me of a cantina....the bar is fun, because it has normal height seats which I thought was fun, and different. We were taken to a booth, which was cozy, but the floor was not very clean, which really grosses me out, I tried to ignore it....Our initial server was wonderful, then there was another one that was ok, they kept alternating which was fine...the food came out quick which is the norm with fajitas, unless something is wrong lol...I ordered the salad with grilled shrimp, and it was fantastic. My husband said their margaritas are some the best he has had...he also said the chicken was really good. Overall we love that it is a neighborhood restaurant, and will definitely go back. read more

Customer Service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Came in during lunch time. Sat at the bar. Placed to go order. After waiting a while I tried to get the bartenders attention by saying "excuse me" and by waiving him down. He made eye contact a few times and eventually came back. Asked for water he brought it and walked away. He was on the phone the rest of the time. I didnt get a chance to explain the water had something floating in it bc he never came back. He set the bill in front of me and walked away still on the phone. I noticed you can pay by scanning the barcode so I did that. (awesome feature by the way). He finally brought my order and my friend and I went to walk out the door. With phone still in hand he says to me "YOU DIDNT PAY YOU CANT LEAVE YOU NEED TO PAY" . Now what was embarrassing was 1) I doubt he would have done this to any one else none of the patrons looked like me and 2) I was being accused of not paying and I actually left this man a tip. I just couldn't believe I could be accused of not paying a bill and he had been so caught up on his phone call and didnt even bother to check. The food is actually really good. I got spinach enchiladas. May not look appetizing but it was great. I'm Really sadden by this experience. Was in the mood for Tex Mex and live near Los Tios. Ordered #6 combination plate, beef taco, cheese enchilada and puffy taco. The only thing I really liked was the beef taco. The puffy taco was so so and the cheese enchilada sauce was bland and tasteless. Ordered chips and salsa. Both red salsa and green salsa were below average. No seasonings, again bland, no heat. What on earth has happened to this place? The service the last two times we have been here has been AWFUL. Not only slow but rude! I had to ask for water and also for them to refill it (they just took away my water glass when it was empty), it took ten minutes to get chips and salsa and then she disappeared at the end so we had to flag down another guy to run the credit card. We went there for brunch and the food was good. We sat outside in their patio which is well covered and can be utilized in summer as well. The servers were quick and the food tasted good. Me and my brothers wanted to take my dad out for an early Father's Day celebration. The food and drinks were great! That beef, chicken, and carnitas were delicious. However, the service was ehh. My dad has been to another location of theirs and he also didn't have a good experience. Our server didn't tend to us as much as he was with his other tables. We had to wait about 5 min after we ordered our food for plates. He didn't refill our drinks unless we asked. Even when it came to getting the check we left after waiting 10 min for a receipt. So went here for a job outing and I must say the food was good. The service could have been better but not a bad experience. Had chips and salsa and queso and Sadler the queso didn't taste too well. For entree I had the chicken fajitas They had good flavor and the rice and beans were full of flavor too. I want to come back to have a much more personal experience as the time I went with work it was almost 15 of us. I came here for one of my birthday celebrations and had a great experience. Elias, the manager, was friendly and checked in on our table regularly. Staff was friendly as well. This place had just opened, and I was treated right. I was given a tres leches cake for my birthday, which was delicious. The food was as well, and we were impressed with the ambience and little things like the nice, solid blue water glasses they used. I'll definitely be back and will bring friends. This place is a joke. Waited over 20 minutes and still did not receive my drink but had a tab in front of me. Waiter took my food menu after I decided what I wanted and did not take my order. Only to see them serving everyone else waiting. The ladies that sat down after me had their food and drinks before they could even properly sit in their chairs. I was going to order take-out from this place. I looked on the website to see if they were closed early. It said 11pm. I called--5 times. Each time the phone answered, but I hot hold music. It played a bit & disconnected. I drove over. The door was unlocked. I opened it & walked. A woman standing @ the host stand was eating from a styrofoam box. She said 'we're closed.' I asked 'What time?' She said '8'. I said 'your website says '11'. 'No, we close @ 8'. I said 'No. I'm telling you your site says 11'. A 2nd woman, only slightly more charming walked up & asked 'what's wrong?' I said I called to place a phone order. 5 times. Each time I got hold music & then it disconnected.' ' She said ' Oh, that's our voicemail'.(It wasn't. Voicemail makes oses earlyannouncements/takes msgs). I asked 'Does no one answer the phone?' She said 'Not after we close'. In short, this place closes early, but in no way informs an uninformed public. No announcement on their website or on their voicemail--if it exists. No sign on the door. The menu was a little too simple for me, it's possibly because this is their covid menu? But everything tasted great.
