Me and my friends went here to celebrate cinco de mayo (Friday night). The place was packed!! We got $5 margaritas (which were really good!!) and played cornhole outside & hung out in the parking lot tent. The frozen margaritas were also yummy. The bartenders were nice as well, and you can tell the restaurant was very nicely decorated for cinco de mayo. They had a food vendor selling record (2 for $7) and they were a little expensive for the taste/quantity. I'd have to come back here to try more food though. Overall, it was a good experience, I'd probably come back here to try the food! read more

I really want to leave a fake bad review so that this restaurant doesn't get flooded with people but I cantttttt. This restaurant is so good. The drinks are good the vibe is good and the food is amazing. Best shrimp enchiladas I have ever had! Ninfas and El Tiempo do not compare, sorry. Also, the price is really affordable. I absolutely had to leave a review because I ordered take-out for the first time and it was still so good! Packaged amazingly, and had the same great taste. I have visited this location on several occasions. I have notice the waiters are not as attentive when I sit at a table vs the bar. Yesterday, we stopped in for a quick bite to eat and we sat at the bar. The margaritas were great as usual. Tried the smash burger...it was actually pretty good. We ordered a queso which was served COLD! They did take the queso off our bill. This location has a smaller bar area but a nice size patio. I came here for Sunday brunch and I must say this is one of the nicer Los Tios locations. They serve breakfast from 10:00AM until 2:00PM which I love because I'm a huge breakfast person. My friend and I both got the chilaquiles and we both enjoyed them. Service was excellent and their prices are reasonable too. I'll come back here again soon. read more

I've eaten here multiple times. Normally we just door dash, but my girlfriend and I have come to visit and eat in the last three times. My major concern here, whether slow or busy, is the wait staff. Constantly having to wait to ask for a refill cause no one comes around once the food comes out isn't great. another thing is the queso. Why are you bringing lukewarm queso to the table after charging 11 dollars for it? That's a true slap in the face. Having to wait an extra five minutes to get the beans and rice with my fajitas tonight was also a huge thumbs down. The service and overall atmosphere did not meet expectations, and several aspects of the visit fell short in terms of quality and professionalism. This is our go to Tex-Mex for the neighborhood, especially when we're bringing our daughter out. They're family friendly, (but not so much that it ruins your dining experience without a kid) they have great happy hour prices on margs, ranch waters, wine, etc., and the Tex-Mex is good and well priced. There isn't another Tex-Mex spot in the Galleria that compares, especially price to quality comparison. read more

We were invited to Los Tios, on Buffalo Speedway, for our grandsons graduation lunch. The food was great, but the chairs were placed so close together it was uncomfortable. He had reserved the alcove near the front that would have served well, but a screen had been placed between us and another party. This made it hard for wait staff to properly attend the guest and awkward for guests to get to and from the buffet. There was not enough serving spoons or small dishes available for queso making it a bit messy. But whoever was in the kitchen knew what they were doing. read more

Staying in the Galleria area I knew I was in the mood for Mexican food but also knew I wanted to try someplace new. Turning to Yelp I discovered Los Tios and I must say, yet again, Yelp has come through! Located in the front corner of a rather busy shopping center Los Tios was quite easy to locate, but the busy shopping center made navigating to parking a bit of a pain...but that is the only bad thing I can say about Los Tios. I was seated almost immediately in their beautiful covered patio space. After a very brief wait I was greeted by my server who brought me water and afforded me a few minutes with the menu. Chips and salsa came as I was perusing said menus and I found myself ordering a Happy Hour Modelo and their Meatless Special Dinner Plate. The food came out quickly and I was very happy with my selection. The Meatless Special included a puffy queso, guacamole salad, and two cheese enchiladas topped with Spanish sauce. Everything came out fresh and was delicious and service was attentive and great without feeling rushed. Start-to-finish my server was at the top of their game and I noticed all of the staff throughout engaged with the customers in a warm and friendly manner and everyone seemed to be enjoying their evening. Suffice it to say that another visit to Los Tios will be in my future on my next trip to Houston. Their wonderful food is reason enough to dine here again and the incredible service is an added bonus that ensures I'll be a return patron very soon. read more

Love the food here, but every single time I place a to go order or delivery order there are things missing or the order is flat out incorrect. This time we ordered 1lb of combination fajitas and we were sent all beef. I placed the order through their website and unfortunately my boyfriend didn't check the order when he picked it up. I called to speak with a manager about it and he was very condescending and lackadaisical. He asked me what did I want him to do about it...obviously I want the correct order. He offered to remake the fajita portion, I explained to him that means all the other food we ordered including the queso was going to be cold by the time we drove back over there to pick the fajitas up and got home. He finally agreed to remake the entire order. I took the full order back and received a new one, but it was a hassle to have to drive back over there as we were getting ready to have lunch before we went to an appointment. Orders should be double checked before handing it off to the customer, this obviously had to go through the kitchen staff and also the person that packaged it up before it got to us....and not one employee noticed that it was the wrong order. Again, this has happened multiple times when I've ordered online. I would also suggest management be more empathetic and learn how to handle situations like this with grace and a quick solution instead of asking the customer what would they like the restaurant to do. Mistakes happen, but it is all about admitting it and offering a resolution that is favorable for the restaurant and the customer. read more

This restaurant definitely has an authentic feel to it when you come in so you just know the food is going to be good! Came here once before just for house margaritas and tried their queso w/beef which was good. This time I actually ordered food. I came here on a Monday for the five dollar house margarita special. I love their frozen margaritas and that they have the option to put tajin on the rim. I prefer the frozen over on the rocks as it is more potent. I ordered the enchiladas al carbon one beef fajita, one chicken with cream sauce and on the side of refried beans and rice super delicious and cheesy. My sister ordered the anniversary nachos and a side of queso for extra she loved them. They have easily became one of my new favorite Mexican spots on this side of town as there aren't very many authentic options over here. The service was as great as it was the first time we came. Dined in for my birthday weekend and I would say it is mediocre at best. You can find good fajitas anywhere, and while these were exquisite-- for me, the price point nor the customer service matched. The drinks were strong and great. Chips and salsa were below average for me, and the waiter got more than one mistake on a table of fourteen. While I understand serving large parties, I also have been a waitress, and more than one mistake is being careless or lazy. They also refused to split the tab on the toast app, which is totally doable, leaving margin for error if the guests choose to split the tab and do the math. Come for the $5 margaritas, but get the food at Ninfa's or elsewhere. read more

Came here for brunch one weekend and we were impressed! The semi outdoor seating was great! The bottomless chips and salsa were good as expected. As far as my meal I got the chicken quesadillas, and I had no complaints! Big portion, great tasting chicken and cheese. I had a good experience here service wise and food was good. Really nothing to complain about. We got their famous "puff" on some special for $1. The only thing I will say is that I wouldn't order the puff if it wasn't on the special because that thing isn't worth even $1. It should be the complimentary thing they give with your meal. The shrimp ceviche was good as were the quesadillas. Sign up for their rewards program. You get points and a welcome $5 to any of the Adair concepts and at Los Tios you get a free dessert on your birthday! I think this is with or without the rewards program though. read more
