So who would have thought lost personal items at an amusement park would find itself back to your doorstep in one piece?!?! Well thanks to the Disneyland staff, it happened to me. I lost my $500 Chanel sunglasses on the Indiana Jones ride from all the jerky motion. The crew member suggested I file a claim at lost and found and reassured me with confidence that I will get them back but will take time to retrieve it. I inquired my sunglasses with 3 different crew members and they all reassured me that I will get them back with only a matter of time. I was convinced they were trained to speak that way because they are supposedly the "happiest place on earth" but they really stood against their word. The girl at the lost and found booth was super friendly and caring as she guided me through the claim. I lost my sunglasses on a Sunday and by Wednesday, I received a package from Disneyland Resort. My sunglasses were returned to me in a nicely packaged envelope with bubble wrap all free of charge! I am greatly impressed with their high level of service. I lost my Chanel sunglass case at Disneyland last week. I called the next day to see if they had been turned in (I didn't really think that they would be turned in to tell the truth). I again called for two more days and did not have any luck. I was told to keep calling through the week but gave up after the third day I did give a description and crossed my fingers. I came home today and found that they had indeed been turned in and they shipped them back to me. I am SO HAPPY! They were a mother's day gift from my kids and I was so sad that I had been so careless. Thank you Disney lost and found!! This is the second time I have lost something and the lost item shipped back to me in the last 15 years (no charge). Class act policy Disneyland! So the only reason I'm able to write this review on my phone is because of the incredibly helpful cast over at the lost and found. I was on the Indiana Jones Adventure when my phone slipped out of my pocket and off of the car. The Indiana Jones cast members sent me to the Lost and Found where I filed a report with an incredibly sweet cast member whose name I forgot but has amazing hair and is from Honolulu, HI. Initially, I was planning on leaving the park a few hours before closing, but I decided to stick around to wait for my phone. Come closing time, I left the park and returned to the Lost and Found to retrieve my phone. Super helpful cast member Justin informed me that it had not yet been turned into the lost and found or city hall and they had done their last trip for lost items. Upon seeing me start to distress over the lost item, Justin called Indiana Jones and located my phone. Although the Lost and Found was closing, Justin arranged for my phone to be delivered to me after they had closed up and he had gone. Another extreeemely helpful cast member brought it out to me and now I don't have to go 7-10 business days waiting for my phone by mail or make the long drive up from San Diego. I could not be more satisfied with the service. read more

Just called Disneyland lost and found after I realized I lost my camera last night, the guy who answered actually remembered logging in my bright green camera last night!! I lost my iphone on Sunday while I was on my way to Disneyland from my hotel. When I got to the tram from the parking garage I noticed it was missing and figured I either left it in the hotel or the car. I didn't want to go back to get it, as it wasn't that big of a deal at the time. Later that evening I looked everywhere for the phone and I can't find it anywhere... Not in the car, not in the room, not under the seats, not in my bag, no where. We were heading home early the next day and I figured it was gone if I lost it in the Disney parking lot or bathroom. After my long day of traveling home I started to research the prices to replace it as I am not due for an upgrade in quite a while. After going into sticker shock to get a replacement I decided to call Disneyland lost and found. The Yelp reviews were great so I thought the worst they'll tell me is 'no we don't have it'. I figured there were quite a few happy people on yelp, so why can't I be one... Anyway I was on the phone with a very helpful lady who said she thinks the phone she found might be mine. She charged it while I was on the phone with her and once it powered on she was able to verify my locked screen photo and emergency contacts. Now my phone is being sent back to me at no charge. Thank you Disneyland Lost & Found Department!!! You made my week and saved me a lot of money!!!! YAY!!! read more

I lost my cell phone on Alice and Wonderland ride on 060916 around 5 p.m. It is an LG G3 black phone with black case if you find it please return to lost and found. I will continue to check daily if found. Phone is older model not worth much, if you don't want to return phone it's OK, you can keep but please give me my pictures. I took several pictures on our last vacation that I have not downloaded and of my twin daughter kinder promotion ceremony and their last day of school. My daughter lost her iPod touch while at Dland. It has all her photos on it and she's quite sad about it. Although we havent gotten it back yet, the staff at Disneyland has been so very kind and supportive. Even when I keep checking back, they are always pleasant and caring especially when they see the sadness on my daughters face. Im still hopeful the person who finds it will return it. We lost our black Sony video camera at Disney California Adventure, it was inside a little black bag (1-20-16). I appreciate all the attention from Lost and Found Dept at Disneyland. I am still crossing my fingers to see my video camera back after reading so many good comments. I hope the person who found it, has the kind heart to return it to this department. I was sitting down on the concrete bench next to the water globe in Tomorrowland and place my iPhone X next to me take off my hoodie and put a shirt that I bought into my backpack. I got up to leave to go to the restroom & get in line for Autopia. While I was in line for Autopia, I realize my phone was not in my pocket and backpack. I got out of line and went back to where I sat next to the globe & saw my phone wasn't there. I went to City Hall to report it also report it to Lost & Found. The young lady who work at Lost & Found yesterday around 4 pm was helpful but suggested that I wait & the phone might be turn in to them. I doubt it since it is a iPhone X so I decided to file a online police report with the Anaheim Police. To whom ever decided not to be a good samaritan & turn in my phone to Lost & Found but instead decided to keep the phone for themselves. You are now a criminal and I hope the Anaheim Police finds you also that Disneyland decides to ban you for life. read more

Lost a Pair of Designer Sunglasses while on the Indiana Jones Ride at Disneyland Ca. I immediately contacted an employee (but I already chalked it up as a lost) I honestly thought they were gone forever.. The employee informed me of the process & I made my way to city hall & filed a report.. Still, I honestly thought they were gone forever.. I blame myself for not using the ride pouch intended for valuables.. I gave the lost & found a description & they gave me an Item/Report number.. They told me to call back the next day after 10am.. The next day came, I called & to my amazement they found them.. They Found Them.. THEY FOUND THEM! I wanted to cry, not so much for the Sunglasses themselves (although they are one nice pair of shades given to me as a Birthday gift from my Big Sis) but I wanted to cry for the Costumer Service, the sheer humanity of it all.. I was Astonished! I have a Degree in Humanities "The Art of Being Human" & have noticed in present times the true selfishness of some people & even worst the selfishness in Businesses in General.. What ever happened to "Knock Your Socks Off Service" Well I am here to Tell You that Disneyland Knocked My Socks Off specifically the Lost & Found Department at Disneyland California, I Thank You so much.. Hold on do not give the lost and found to much credit. If you drop something on the Alice in Wonderland kiddie ride in Disneyland consider it gone! Although the track is small, the ride is slow, and not dangerous Disney workers will not bother looking for items dropped. On Tuesday 3/29/16 at 11:50 p.m. My go pro slipped out of my jacket pocket on the last part of the caterpillar ride where you go outside and get a view of the Matterhorn. As I slowly separated from my go pro I made note of where it was on the track so I could tell the worker operating the ride controls my situation. Whoever this guy was he was white about 6ft. and working at 11:50 p.m. on 3/29/16 needs to be fired. He tells me not to worry they will return it to the lost and found after their track checks and because it was such a valuable item it would be a top priority and be returned. I filed a report with the almighty "Amber" at lost and found and waited to hear word. Returned on the following Sunday after calling everyday and nothing was turned it except on Sunday a go pro was turned in but it was already given to someone else. Thanks Disney I painted your worker a damn picture of where my go pro was and it couldn't be found. I live in Hawaii and just came up for a engineering conference and will not be back anytime soon. I'm so confused on what went wrong especially when I see a people getting their phones returned to them when they are dropped on rides. I had so much faith in your workers and ethics as a park but I was badly mistaken. Mahalo for nothing! read more
