    Elk Burger

So FU**ING BOMB ! The cursing in this scenario is necessary because it's that good! I visited Eureka recently to stay with a friend and begged her to let me check this place out because they have couple different options for stouts. I love dark beer and each one I tried here was phenomenal. I had the downtown brown which really packed a malty flavor. And the peanut butter chocolate milk stout was so yummy I got a six pack to go. Not to mention I think it was only ten bucks which is a great price for local beer. First time I visited with my friend I got the blue cheese burger and just.. WOW. The fried sliced pickles along with being packed on with bacon and delicious angus beef this burger left me feeling ravenous. My burger came with lots of toothpicks (thank god) to hold together the mound of toppings/bun. Every single bite I felt like I was eating the world's most delicious cheeseburger and couldn't help be shocked that this was the meal I had presented to me today. Was so GOOD - I returned the next day. This time I got the elk burger which again, huge, delicious, but the one I had day prior was my personal favorite. Elk patty offered a much leaner feeling with the meat that meshed well with everything else. Not to mention the garlic parmesan fries. Even now as I'm typing this out I feel like I'm dying to return. Service was great, the decor is WILD, beers are amazing, and the food will blow your mind. Plzzz check it out.

Spicy, delicious wings! If you aren't into heat, their buffalo sauce will be too much for you. We stopped in for a flight before a late dinner and decided to grab an appetizer. Great choice. Service was on point. Blend of a variety of wheat beer, IPA's and crafts.

The food and service here was great. The portion sizes were very big and shareable too. We ordered a burger and Cesar salad. Our server was very attentive and we were happy with the whole experience. The only thing I'd note is I feel like the establishment could possibly put a little more care into their restroom. It felt like it could use some deep cleaning or even renovation.

Love the place, cute and has a good vibe. Got seated quickly and service promptly. Ordered beers and got them quickly, and man is the PB and Choc Milk Stout yummy! Ordered the Shrimp Tacos - I'm ready to marry the chef!! We also got the French Dip and it was good too. Would definitely eat here again!

    Delicious! The famous hot Brown

Such a cool chill low-key vibe restaurant. Not your typical brewery. It's a fun spot for families we had dinner and watched the World Cup. The service is wonderful everyone's friendly. We had sandwiches this time. Definitely recommend the famous hot brown and the jambalaya. This restaurant is a must, try them.

We initially wanted to come here for lunch on a Saturday, but the place was packed! The host said it would be a 45 minute wait, so we went elsewhere for our meal and came back to try their drinks. Even after eating lunch, the place was still crowded. If you're not ordering food, you can grab a seat at the bar. My friends and I shared the flight. They had a lot of interesting flavors to choose from, and the bartender was very helpful with his recommendations. We were also able to get a seltzer as part of the flight. We also ordered nachos to share with our group. The nachos were loaded and were the perfect snack to go with the beers. Service was excellent! The inside of the restaurant felt very homey. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area but call to make reservations in advance!

Came here while we were in town for some food and drinks. The building itself is rustic looking. It looks like it's been there for hundreds of years. Inside you find a lot of seating and quirky decor. Staff was very friendly and helpful making recommendations and served us quickly. We ordered Jalapeno poppers, an elk burger, Navajo chicken sandwich and shark bait taco. Food was really good the Navajo chicken sandwich was so good, simple but flavorful and the popperd were spot on. The poppers had the perfect spice to cheese ratio. Honestly if we ever went back to Eureka we would definitely give this spot a visit again.

I'm a huge fan of Lost Coast Coast beers, so I was ecstatic when I came across the brewery in Eureka! The food was fantastic. I had the famous hot brown with dipping sauce. My table mates enjoyed their cheeseburgers and Navajo chicken sandwiches. So tasty! It was lunchtime so it was very crowded, but we still had great service. As for the beers, so many great options, and you can even get a sampler. The decor is cool and eclectic, exactly what you would imagine. Watch out for the jeweled tooth spider that greets you at the front door ;) I loved this place and can't wait to return! They had so many great food and drink options, I can't wait to try more!

We were sat down quickly on a Sunday for lunch, but it took a while for the server to come say Hi. She was obviously busy and did her best, but food took a while to come out. Food portions here are HUGE. So glad we did a burger and salad. We like going to the taproom, but there's no food there so I'm glad this downtown location has good food. I really don't like that they tack on a 3% service charge. This is disclosed on the menu, but I would prefer if they would just increase the food prices to be more transparent. Either that or decrease the food portions to cut costs. It's too big for one person anyway.

Both a local and tourist favorite - you can't not stop in and grab a good meal, some local beer, and cool swag to take home. Always get at least a #1 of wings (original-the best you'll ever have). Any burger or sandwich or salad is great, the nachos can def be shared with a couple people, and always check the specials board. Family friendly, can be loud but in a crowded kinda way. Plenty of parking in back. Could use a bigger tv w better sports choices on but that's the worst of it. Friendly staff and many have worked there for years... pretty fast service and they can do large groups depending on the time. Reservations are always a good idea

Have not been here since 2018 & it was so nice to be back! This place is soooo good! I got the chicken lips chicken & fries and the Great White beer. Both were soooo good & the service was prompt. If you haven't been here- go next time you're in Eureka. Inside is clean and casual making for a great place for lunch or dinner!

Had the carnitas and 8 Ball Stout. Very tasty and the service was excellent! Will come again if in the area.

The atmosphere was amazing, but the beer was even better. You should try their seasonal flavors.

I would consider myself a regular at this point. This is a go to spot for a good steak, great fried…read morefood, and a cool drink. I haven't met a server I didn't like- they are all great. It's a bit small inside but it feels cozy and friendly rather than cramped I go out of my way to get their cheesecakes too- they have some of the best cheese cake, with the most variety, in Eureka!

Our hotel receptionist recommended this place for Steaks saying they were the best steaks in town…read more He did warn us that it was a dive bar atmosphere which is a turn off as smoke comes in all the time from the outdoor patio dinning which apparently allows smoking. Major turn off and it was also pretty loud as the bar goers were getting drunker by the minute and louder as they went along. There were two waitresses that helped us (they took turns if the other was busy because they were also attending the bar as well). Both were very nice, attentive, and friendly and gave us good service throughout our meal. I am conflicted about the steak because the steak was very delicious, tender, perfectly cooked to my liking and had a good flavor to it. However, it was ruined because it was way way too salty!!!! Also the Zoragonla butter was awful for me it was way too overpowering and actually took away from the delicious meat. I regeted spending the extra $4 for that topping. The baked potato I thought was the star of the meal. Wonderfully prepared, soft and tender. Good quality butter and sour cream to go with it made it one of the better potatoes I have had at a steak place. I ate my entire potato which I never do! My husband's Ribeye was a little overcooked and he also complained about the saltiness as well. But agree with me on the baked potato being very good. Overall, the steak is very good but I would ask for it to be unsalted and just season it yourself to your liking because the kitchen way over does it. I would also get it to go unless you enjoy breathing smoke while you eat. I don't so I would not eat in again.
