I've walked by this place a lot and actually went on a date here before in the arcade downstairs, but recently I spent time checking out what they have to offer in the storefront. It's really cool! They have more current systems and games like Switch and Xbox One but a lot of retro stuff going all the way back to the NES, and lots of cool merchandise too. There's a lot of valuable Super Nintendo games still in the boxes that caught my eye and some retro systems with HDMI cables to play them. I also saw some stuff I've never seen before, like a Baxter Stockman Turtles in Time figure - which is also one of the arcades downstairs. Definitely geeked out a bit seeing that. Downstairs is the arcade - you can pay $10 to play for an hour - they give you gloves and it's unlimited there's no tokens or anything. Before COVID there's a higher price you could pay for an all day pass. Miriam was the girl who helped me, she was really nice and knowledgeable and friendly with everyone. I ended up walking away with an original Xbox and a few games to revisit some nostalgia. Everything works great. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have fun at an old school arcade, pick up some retro games or just to support a local brick and mortar video game shop, which are a dying breed. read more

OMG! We love this place!! Took our almost 4 yr old for the 1st time and we all had a blast. Love the fact you can buy passes for time blocks and not have to worry about quarters..huge plus if you are bringing small children. Prices are very reasonable, $5 per person for 30 min, $10 for unlimited time. You can play as many games as you want while your pass is active. They even have old school consoles right outside the door if you buy the $10 pass. This is going to become a favorite for our family! Will also mention that my son is on the spectrum (moderate) and gets overwhelmed easily in loud environments. Lost levels is a medium sized collector/ game store that offers a wide selection of games spanning to early gaming industry to modern consoles. The staff are friendly and will relate to your shopping experience or relate to the reason why you visited and how you feel while you shop. The staff can't help but feel nostalgia when they work as well. My girlfriend and I primarily visited to spend time in the arcade. The price is fair for the time limit they offer. The underground arcade has a vast range of different arcade games and offer a big selection to play 1v1 with your friends or anyone you may meet while playing in the arcade. The pinball machines seem to be on the newer side and ave very fun to use. I would estimate at the time of our visit, 90% of the arcade games were in service. I literally found everything I needed for my Wii and Super Nintendo. I have been wanting to play Mario bros 2 for at least 15 years and today I finally got it along with 1 and 3!!! I was looking for Donkey Kong for my Wii for my friend I found that as well. I got some other stuff but the games were the real reason I was dying to go here. I really liked the guy who worked there he seemed genuinely excited I was excited ( imagine finding $100 as a kid excited because that's where I was). They also have an arcade, I didn't get to try it out but I plan on it really soon. I took my 11-year-old son here on a Saturday night and we had fun! It wasn't too crowded, which was great, since we had time to play all the games we desired. We bought the 30-minute unlimited play for $5 each. The machines are set to free play, so you go in, pay the cashier, and go have fun. For $10 you can play for an unlimited amount of time, which is what my older son did the very next day upon my recommendation--he loved this place as well. (He did mention that more people were there on Sunday, but that it wasn't annoyingly packed.) Although it's 2 stories, it's not huge or overwhelming at all, but kinda cozy (there were a few people obviously on date night) and there's a small, and well-priced variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase. The games are mostly, if not all, retro games, like Street Fighter, PacMan, and Mortal Kombat. My 11-year-old recognized some of the games from "Wreck it Ralph," and Lost Levels instantly became more cool in his eyes. This is a great, casual spot for a date, play date, or a stop during a night out with friends. This place was fairly dead on a Sunday afternoon which was great because we didn't have to wait for any games, the games are pretty old but very fun to play, you pay for your time not per game, so it was $5 for 30 mins and $10 for all day and it was per person, they had some sodas and some candy but you can't have any food or drinks down stairs. The down stairs can definitely use more video games there is enough room for it. I read on here that it was hot down stairs I disagree it wasn't stuffy at all. They can definitely use more games for the price they are charging though we stayed for less than an hour, and bought the all day pass. Overall cute little arcade, very clean, and nice decor. What a gorgeous, clean, friendly, welcoming store. There's no negative point in my book for this establishment. The staff is at the ready to greet you and help you with any questions you have. Prices are just right and more than fair, if you want to bargain bring in your trades. Still need to save a dollar or two? Ask the staff. What I love about Lost Levels LLC is that they're very clean with their products, games are cleaned out and put out with the up most respect to the customer. I once asked the owner and he told me, "I put out games the same way I'd like to buy them if I were a customer". That right there shows a store that values the customer experience. The store is packed with retro games, merchandise, newer games and various other video game related materials. All priced just right and if you're looking for something in particular they have another store located in Fullerton that might have it, so ask away. One tip I have is if you see an upcoming game you want and want to support a small business, ask to reserve it for $5! You get a better value here with trades than a big store like Gamestop so you'll probably end up getting a new game and having credit leftover for something else! They also have a point system attached to your phone number, ask about it. I've had times I forgot about it and they'll mentioned I made enough to cash out on 25% off my entire order, heck this week I got a $5 off coupon for being a loyal customer. So you win on all fronts here and I highly recommend you take a look around! There's also an arcade that is really cheap to play unlimited games! Very solid arcade and game store! We went for two hours and had a fun time. Smaller, but good selection of games, enough to last two hours easily. Also lots of fighting games, if you're bringing friends. The upstairs store is also pretty solid, with a good selection of games and toys, though in my opinion the arcade is the main attraction. Worth noting that this location has nearly all retro games, which isn't a bad thing at all (I personally thought it was super cool being able to play these old games on actual cabinets, and some cabinets like the Playchoice-10 I haven't even seen before) But if you're looking for more "modern" games (Guitar Hero, DDR, Star Wars) the location in Fullerton has more of those. Both places are great! My only real complaint is the NEO GEO cabinet for some reason didn't have sound, and Metal Slug was noticeably laggy playing it (though maybe that's just how the game is, so take that with a grain of salt) Also, one or two more pinball machines couldn't hurt. I was hooked on the Mandalorian one! Overall, awesome place to spend a few hours at with a buddy. Will come back again! read more

This place is pretty amazing! They have many of the classic arcade games and an NES setup with a couch to enjoy as well. You do have to pay to get in but it totally worth it. They offer $5 for 30 minutes of free play or $10 for unlimited free play. I brought my wife here for a date night. She usually doesn't like playing arcade games with me. She feels that she doesn't get the concept of the game right away or dies quickly. She usually feels bad spending quarter after quarter. This is hands down my favorite video game store. Place is small but has a wide variety of every console generation. They have fair trade in values as well, but the thing I love most is that every game I have bought from them has been in near mint condition even though they're used. They only buy the cleanest, nicest products and as a collector you can definitely appreciate that. Don't forget to sign up for their cool rewards program too. Until today this would have been a five star review. Brief history I have been coming here off & on for roughly 3 years now. Roughly I have spent maybe $700 over this time. The biggest bulk of that in the past few months. I live just a couple miles from the Fulllerton location & I traveled to their other location in Claremont because I wanted to stay with that this place. So earlier this week I had purhcased Super Mario RPG for the SNES, which I got at their Claremont location. However, the game would not keep save files it would randomly delete them. I called the store & was told to bring it in. I went into the store & the owner was there, Steve Torres. He said it could be a faulty battery but said they usually replace before selling. He took my info & told me he would have it fixed no later than Sat. because he needed to test it. Sat. comes and I hadn't heard from him yet. I called the store around 12 & was told he is still working on it that he would call me back in a bit. A few hours go by & I still hadn't heard from him. Since I was wanting to look at some games anyway I went to the store. I got to the location around 4pm. I ask about my game & the employee there went to go get him. So he came back to the front & said he hasn't got to it yet. I told him that's fine I just wanted an update & reminded him of what he had told me. He stiffened up a bit & said, "Well is the day over yet?" Wasn't sure why he was getting an attitude. I then asked him does he have a time frame for when it could be done. He then said with quite a bit of attitude, "No I already told you I would call you when I had it finished". I told him, "No you had said no later than Sat. If things change thats fine you just should have updated me. Im still gonna look at the other game while im here." He then said, "I already told you I will call you when its done!". At this point I was starting to get upset, I was already given a bad timeline, I paid almost $100 for the game, I drove from Anaheim to Claremont (48 miles round trip) for it & his attitude problem wasnt helping. So I told him "No you had told me Sat. Which is why im here, on Sat. If you need more time thats fine but choose what you tell me or any customer more carefully or at least update us." He then repeated, "Look, I already told you I would call you what else do you want". I told him "thats fine if you dont have time to look at it ill take it to another store," (theres a few stores in OC that do repair). Then he said, visibly upset, "No I want to test my property here. I dont want you going to another store & them saying they cant fix it then you bring it back here." Him saying it was his property, didnt sit right with me, I paid for it, its now my property. I told him "No id rather take MY property & try my luck somewhere else." He half smiled at me & said, "No, look, you got one of 2 options. 1 I issue a refund, 2 you wait until I fix it". "I told him no, it's my property, I paid for it & you legally can't keep it from me." He said, "Look, this is my business & when you walk through those doors you agree to my rules." I told him he cant make any rules for his business that is against CA law & I want my property back. He then threated to call the cops claiming I was trespassing. I called the cops myself & they said it was a civil matter. I then went back in & told him to just give me the refund, he then made snide comments about my job (I was in uniform). Then he said, "& and now you want a refund." "Yes dude, you wont give me my property back & you just said one of my options was to take a refund. You are THE most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with". He then took my picture and said I was banned from both locations. Im 30, I have never had an argument like this at a business. First time being banned from a business as well, so that was interesting. Apparently he use to own Super Video Game bros in Diamond Bar but his license got suspended. Took my son here on a Sunday afternoon. It's located in the Claremont packing house area. Payed $5.00 for unlimited play for 30 min. They also had another option of $10 unlimited play for all day. I love this place - reminded me of when I was a kid. Had all my favorites, pac man, street fighter, mortal combat. They even have the old Nintendo and Super Nintendo game consoles there. My son took an interest in duck hunt. It was a joy to watch him play these old games. read more

I was looking foward to experince Galaga as I have not played the actual arcade game in a very long time they had 2 units and they were not working they had several units down. Fun place, especially if you are walking around in the Village, and want to have some fun or take the kids. Some great older games including some vintage Mario games. I was expecting a much larger place, it is smaller than I thought it would be. This is not an all day type of place, maybe 1-3 hour max type of place and you or your kids will have about gotten your fill. They have been very creative in maximizing the limited space they have, also kids loved some of the vintage toys and plush dolls they have available for sale. read more
