Always a good experience coming here! The prices are good, the machines they have are well taken care of, and the employees are always nice. Gotta hit up the place at least once a week to pin some bugs and get rid of the itch. Definitely recommend to anyone around the area to check this place out

We played all the different games within that hour and it was great! We also played one of the indoor mini golf's rounds and it it brought back alot of memories. They still have projects going on that look like fun and I will be back to see it all and do it all, maybe not Laser Tag, for me but Go Karts for sure!! And always more mini golf!!! They have done an amazing job renovating the property and keeping all the nostalgia from my childhood and dating years, but bringing it into the future also! The fun, food and drinks are reseasonably priced, considering how crazy expensive everything is. And they have all kinds of packages$ or you can go ala carte like we did. Well done Bullwinkle's Upland!! Thank you for an awesome time.

We had taken our son to go use the batting cages and when we got to the counter there wasn't anyone to assist us with getting a bat or hat. We waited a good 10 minutes and when we noticed the person who was supposed to help us was out there batting while he was working. I had to go to the front counter to go complain because it wasn't fair for us to be waiting so long. Another thing that we didn't like was if you have Schools first debit card for some reason they couldn't take it. The good thing was we had cash with us, but if we didn't we were going to be screwed. All I got to say is they have to work better with customer service.

It's a striking building to look at especially during the evenings. A blast from the past with the smells to go with it. 32 Lanes as it proudly states out front, and we were given lane #26. Plenty of the lanes available too, and with that a large selection of balls. The lights were dimly lit in the place, and folks of all levels were playing that night. Fancy high-powered spinning and frequent gutter balls, we were squarely near the lower end of that spectrum. Different game modes on the screen included cartoons/animations of bowling pins, sea creatures, and comic book characters, which added some charm to an otherwise similar experience. At one point, the guys on the lane to the left gave us some good pointers, though I cannot say I will bowl enough to retain any of the muscle memory. All in all, a nice way to spend the evening.

A good place for dates, friends, or family. This Round1 is very spacious and right when you enter,…read morethere's already plenty of claw machines by the walkway. There's bowling available, karaoke, and a food area in between. Entrance is accessible through the mall or through the parking lot. Parking is free, plentiful in a sizeable lot for the Puentes Hill Mall. I've had my R1 card for over a decade and I've seen them have many collaborations over the years, most offer different collab plushies, and when you refill your credits, you usually get a extra reward from it. (etc: keychains, various merch, tumblers, and sometimes even a different R1 physical card) If you're a big fan of arcades, this is the spot to go. My partner and I always come out with 5+ plushies every time and it's to the point where people be staring at us for having so many plushies. Some of the claw machines though are a bit tough, to the point where it does feel a bit rigged as it's coded differently. My favorite are the triple claws rather than the dual claws, they're definitely better in terms of catching plushies out. Besides the claw machine, there's a variety of games machines in the back. They consist of racing, dancing, sports, RNG games, etc, all in the fun of the games. Some games give you tickets where you can redeem points from your card to get extra rewards, take it like a points shop. Overall, a very fun, spacious, and considerably expensive spot. You have so much fun in here that the time passes quite quickly. R1 is pretty clean and they have a great amount of staff that are able to assist you accordingly. Great spot overall.

However, I'm giving this place a four star rating because I don't think I'd find myself coming back. It's probably a five star experience for a younger crowd, but my knees could only handle so much. We decided on the 90 minute play time and it was more than enough time to enjoy the facility. At this location, we took turns on the mechanic bull, braved the ninja obstacle course, tried roller skating/roller blading, jumped on the trampolines, and raced each other in the arcade. There was a lot more to play, but these were the activities that we were most interested in. We arrived closer to the opening time so it wasn't very busy when we were here. This was nice because it made a lot of the activities more accessible. I think that Spo Cha is a great place to try something new! I like that they emphasize safety and provide the appropriate gear for specific activities at no additional cost. It's an excellent value for your money compared to other adventure parks.

This place is every germaphobe's nightmare. I remember when Spo-Cha first opened and thought it was…read morea decent little spot to do some activities. Coming back years later with somewhat optimistic expectations, it sadly now looks like a shell of what it could have been. On Sunday afternoon, we decided to check out Spo-Cha since we had nothing else to do while hanging out with friends. While I was already anticipating having to use shared equipment, it was honestly really gross seeing communal sports equipment just being hung up after use or thrown in the same bin for the next person to use... and not to mention, everything was VERY sweaty too. There were no attendants actively cleaning equipment (maybe one at the roller rink) and no form of paper towels or sprays to at least allow you to clean between use. Not sure if I was more afraid of potentially getting lice or ringworm, but I tried to avoid touching anything with cloth while I was there. If you're a parent, consider bringing extra disinfectant wipes or hand sanitizer. The bathrooms were not the cleanest but were fine if you're just washing your hands frequently. Not to mention, there were kids running amok throughout the establishment. Again, while it is to be expected, I was still a little concerned seeing there be a lack of parental supervision for a LOT of young kids (toddlers included). Not only is it dangerous for them, who likely don't know any better, but also for older teens and adults trying to avoid knocking them over when they disrupt games or recklessly run into people around the roller rink. While at the very least, most of the sports were fine to play (e.g. billiards, table tennis, volleyball, pickleball, etc.), when it came to the arcade... half the machines were broken. And even if they worked, then a third of those would have something wrong with it. At that point, you'd rather spend your money at Round 1 next door for arcade games and somewhat of a nicer experience. Moving on to the dining area... We did get thirsty after a while and, after noticing a pitcher of water at an empty table, we asked if we could order one as well. The staff (hiding behind the self-order kiosks, since you do not have the option to order at the register) let us know that a pitcher of water costs $8. Needless to say, consider eating and drinking before/after you come here (or just fork up a few extra dollars for a soda instead). Sure, you can say that you get what you pay for, but this place seems to have been going downhill for a while. The only person really working was the employee in a black button up checking us in and out at the counter. He was very courteous and efficient, but seemed pretty overworked. Not sure what things look like behind the scenes, but it doesn't seem like anyone else other than him really cared about the quality or reputation of this place. Overall, if you're looking for a place to kill 3 hours with a $30 budget, you've found it. If you keep your expectations low enough, it's honestly not that terrible of a spot to try different sports or get a little exercise in while having some semblance of fun. But, if you have the chance to avoid it, avoid it. Or instead, consider catching a movie at AMC or heading to Round 1 before it meets the same fate as Spo-Cha.
