Incredible new spot in downtown Beaufort! Right on Bay St near to rotating draw bridge. I ordered three tacos (ahi, shrimp and fish) and they were all very good but the best was the ahi taco. Chicken fingers and fries for the little one was a great option for a young picky eater. Absolutely will be coming back often! read more

My sister and I found this place driving down the street. We saw the logo and knew we had to try it. We took my nieces and went in for lunch. This place is awesome!!!! We had the clams and the queso to start. I wanted to pour the clam broth over some pasta!! It is crazy good! Also tried the New England clam chowder....jar that stuff Chef Mike!!!! On to the tacos.....delicious!!! Our server Lydia was the sweetest!! She stayed an extra hour because we were having such a great time. Eric was our "mixologist". My niece tried almost every specialty drink, he then made a drink just for her, I hope he remembers it when we go back in October because it's what I will be having!! Fantastic new bar and restaurant in Beaufort. Brought my wife in for apps and tacos, had a few beers. Jeff at the bar is my kind of bartender, friendly and direct, gives good recommendations and is great to talk to. Eric, also at the bar, was also top notch. Basically, if you sit at the bar, you won't be disappointed; the bar was packed for perspective and we were always well taken care of. Queso dip was great, as were the tacos. Great mix of local and national craft beers. I expect this to become our go-to local hang out. Looking forward to more great things from this new place. read more

Awesome tacos and delicious strawberry filled churros. Grilled shrimp taco was great as was the Gullah taco. Was great for a carry out while on vacation with kids. Inside looked like a nice place to hang and have some tequila and tacos. Bartender was super friendly with carryout supplies too. read more

The tacos are delicious, had the grilled shrimp and the barbecued beef . Service was excellent, very attentive and friendly server. Word of warning, the Mimosas (unlimited) are $20 unless you order by the glass! The waitress adjusted our bills as we only had two! This price was not on the menu. read more

It is loud, busy as hell, and we had to wait for a table... AND perhaps the best tacos we have ever put in our mouths! OMG the flavors are out of this world! Skip the parm fries and get the Crack Nachos! Ungodly wonderful and flavorful but not hot. Don't let the ghost pepper descriptions scare you. Try them! We got the Carnitas, Fish, Barbacoa, and Deep South Gullah tacos! They are amazing! ... I've run out of adjectives.. seriously! The best part are the two... that's right two wait staff busting their butts, and still stop to talk to you. Great food, amazing service. Lost Local is good but not great. It has a lot of potential but it still has a ways to go. Food mostly ehh but the potential is there!!!

We went here with another couple because Lost Local was supposed to be good and pleasant. We were in quite a surprise. We were there in the early afternoon and there a few people were seated at some of the tables and a few were seated at the bar. Social distancing only occurred because we selected a table away from others. Unfortunately, that changed when other people came in and sat at the table next to us. Our waitress didn't seem to happy about us being there and requiring her to now wait on our table. Service was quite slow. And then there's the food. I've had warmer and better tasting food from a drive through fast food restaurant. I don't recommend it and won't be back. read more

First visit to this place and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and the service was great. Wide variety of appetizers and entrees. All of the tacos were good but my favorite was the Gullah taco. I have never had that combo but it was worth it. Was not super impressed with this place. I used to live here but now live in a bigger city. I love all the options and taco bars everywhere. When we heard about this new place in town, my wife and I were very excited to give it a go. While it wasn't terrible, the atmosphere is kinda just a weird thrown together look. Naturally I wanted to try the tacos but it was a little off putting that they were $5 each. I thought maybe they would be bigger than normal tacos rather than the small 2-3 bite tacos. I was wrong. The island shrimp taco was good but it really just tasted like shrimp and coleslaw with a little bit of chipotle to it. The taco was good, but not $5 good. Then I got the Mac Chicken taco and was kinda excited for it. I haven't had a Mac and cheese taco before and that was a pretty cool idea. I took one bite of the taco and noticed it didn't have any chicken on it. It was just the Mac and cheese, pico, and some sort of jam. How do you forget to add chicken on a Mac chicken taco.... that cost $5. Wasn't in the mood to wait for another taco so I just ate it as is. My wife did get $10 margarita and while she said it was good, it was only about 6 sips and should have been a $7 margarita. read more
