I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at Lost Pizza Co. on Nine Mile Road in Pensacola during Music Bingo Night on July 28, 2026. While dining with my children, I was injured by a defective chair at our table. I was scooting or moving my chair so another guest could get past me and I grabbed the chair I was sitting in to slide it forward. The seat cushion was not properly secured on the left side (while the right side was secured), causing the cushion to unexpectedly lift when I attempted to move the chair inward. My left ring finger slipped underneath the cushion and was forced against the metal chair frame, causing an immediate and painful injury. My finger became bruised, numb, and painful, affecting my ability to use it normally. I reported the incident to the manager on duty, Sahai. His response was extremely concerning: "Yeah, we know about that chair. We had it flipped over and someone must have flipped it back." If management was aware that this chair was defective, leaving it available for customers to use raises serious safety concerns and appears to be a preventable act of negligence. I showed the manager my injury and pointed out the condition of the chair, but I did not feel my injury or the safety hazard was taken seriously. I have photos documenting both the defective chair and my injury. I contacted the company afterward requesting a response and information about how they planned to address the situation, but I have not received one. I hope Lost Pizza takes this matter seriously and ensures defective equipment is removed from customer areas before another person is injured. Good pizza, but unsafe chairs and poor customer service. This will be funny so keep reading 1. We called at around 3 pm the day before and needed 36 pizzas and enough salad for 130 people and they said yes with no hesitation! 2. The funny part -- those to go pans are the strongest ones I've ever seen. My coworker fell with full hands (user error) and the salads plus their toppings went flying BUT those containers stayed completely in tact! Not a single leaf flew out. Average experience now. When this place first opened up to about three years after it was great! The staff was friendly and enthusiastic and the food was really great. Now it seems like the staff has lost their sparkle and the energy has been replaced with a dull NPC "what can I get you" maybe my tastebuds matured but when I ordered the cheese bread appetizer that was the best food I've ever tasted. There are lots of unique options on the menu but because I hadn't been before and we were trying to keep with lighter fair for lunch, me and Dad chose to share the Olive Bread and the Mississippi Tamales! We came in LATE on a Sunday. The staff didn't miss a beat. They welcomed us in and were happy to have us. We ordered 3 large pizzas (the Philly, The Otis, and the Beekeeper), and they were AMAZING! Service was quick and delivered with a smile. Despite us being late, I am soooo confused why they weren't covered over with business. This was my eldest son's pick, and it completely hit the spot! My husband brought home a pizza from here today. It's a huge pizza & so delicious. It's the next best pizza we have eaten out in Pensacola. It's a New York Style Pizza. Good pizza. Not the best pizza, but just a solid pie. I had the PitBoss pizza and it was smothered in a very sugary bbq sauce that really took away the flavor from the meats. There wasn't really that many toppings on it, mostly sauce. Staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. They have good decorations and lots of beer options (not just cheap beer). I would go back, but Ozone Pizza is hard to beat, they still take the top pier in Pensacola. read more

SOLID PENSECOLA PIZZA We stopped here with about 20 Scouts after a camping trip at Ft. Pickens and needed something fast, affordable, and with plenty of space. Lost Pizza was a solid choice. It's located just outside of downtown Pensacola's main strip, which made it an easy stop without the crowds. Parking was easy, and we had no issues finding a spot for our trailer. We ordered ahead, and the food was ready when we arrived. The space is roomy with lots of seating and a laid-back, slightly dive-bar vibe with posters on the walls, but it was still very kid-friendly. We ordered several pizzas, including the Otis meat-lover's pizza on thin crust, along with hot wings. The pizza was good. Not destination pizza, but solid and dependable. The wings were also pretty good, and everyone was happy. Prices were extremely reasonable for a group our size, and service was overall pretty fast. If you're traveling with a big crew and want a reliable, no-stress lunch spot near downtown, this place fits the bill. read more

Our experience at Lost Pizza Company in Pensacola was nothing short of unacceptable. We ordered four pizzas. After about 30 minutes, only three arrived. No explanation. No apology. Nothing. When we asked, we were casually dismissed with "it's going through the oven." Another 15 minutes passed before we asked again, only to finally be told that they had made the wrong size and that we would just have to wait even longer. At this point, nearly an hour had gone by for a single missing pizza. Mistakes happen in restaurants, but the way this was handled was inexcusable. What stood out most wasn't the error -- it was the complete lack of communication, accountability, or effort to make it right. Staff ignored the issue until we pressed them, dismissed our concerns, and offered no compensation or courtesy. A business that can't deliver a basic order correctly, won't own up to mistakes, and shows zero regard for its customers doesn't deserve repeat business. There are plenty of other pizza places in Pensacola that value their customers' time -- this is not one of them. read more

I never like restaurants set up where you order at the counter and then go sit yourself, get your own drinks, etc. They do have a pretty good beer selection and fresh hand dipped ice cream. Staff was friendly and helpful. We got the pizza with all of the meats, you can choose between thick crust or thin crust or cauliflower crust. I ordered the pit boss pizza (pulled pork, red onions, bbq drizzle) as well as the Lola salad (strawberries, red onion, pears, candies pecans). The salad was my favorite! Super fresh and delicious. We ordered The Lucille and the 20 pc honey bbq boneless wings (they were out of bone-in) to go and wow! The Lucille was incredible, it has chicken, bacon, roasted garlic, tomatoes and ranch drizzle. Im not a huge fan of bbq but I absolutely destroyed those wings and my little one enjoyed them as well. The wings were huge and not just breading which I appreciated greatly lol! I really love this place, so when I saw their Margherita pizza advertised, I was anxious to try it. But from the minute I opened the box, it was pure disappointment. It looked nothing like the advertisement. You could barely discern the little pieces of mozzarella, and the taste was just overwhelming spice and tomato sauce. Ended up throwing it out. I've never had issues with this place until last night. Consumers should know about the good and the bad. Last night I tried to call for carry out. First it took me five tries before someone actually answered the phone. Please don't tell me they were short staffed. You know what they call people who make excuses? Weak! Once someone answered the phone and I placed my pizza order, she asked if I wanted thick or thin crust. I said thick, then she proceeded to tell me we're out of thick crust. Is it only me or does anyone else find that amusing?? Then I said let's do thin since I've got not other choice. Then I said I like to add an order of olive cheese stick. They were out of that too. May I suggest, next time if you're out do many things that you start off the phone order with what you have? Luckily there are plenty of pizza places in PCOLA that don't run out of dough. Stayed nearby on a recent visit to FL. Some of our trip mates came down with terrible colds so we decided to get pizzas for dinner. Lost Pizza Company was blocks away so we took a gamble and the pizzas were terrific. We ordered for pick-up and they were ready when we got there. The saucy wings were tasty. We ordered The Happy Hippie and The Islander. Both were delicious. I liked that Lost Pizza Co was generous with the veggies on the Hippie pizza and same with the sauce on the Islander. I had mentioned it was my first time and she was very dismissive and gave me a menu and asked me to come back up although there was no one behind me.
