    Freshie Chicken Wrap
    Greg L.

We have been here several times now for dinner and always enjoy our meal here. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's basically an old stone house (hence the name) with a very small bar (maybe like 5 people can sit at) and then tables throughout.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is rather noisy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service has generally always been good, although there have been a few times that I could have used a refill on my drink a little quicker than what I got. Parking is definitely a challenge. Definitely make reservations as every time we've been here, the place is packed. I've seen them turn people away who just walk in.

Excellent pub fare with a genuine hippie vibe- unique tasty burgers, bountiful salads, and tremendously delicious nachos. Highly quality gluten free and vegan options. Worth the drive to this quaint little gem in Kimberton.

Loved my first experience here for brunch! [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went early on a Sunday morning and the place was already buzzing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat at a high top table which was nicely sized for two.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They offer bottomless mimosas which is always a plus. My partner ordered the grits and I ordered the vegan hash. The food was phenomenal. My had was extremely flavorful--loved the mushrooms in the mix. I didn't even take picture because I wanted to dive in. Perfect was a side of potatoes and a half of an avocado. I love a place that isn't shy with the portions. Grits were a hit as well. Our server was friendly and attentive. I'll be looking forward to coming back for lunch or dinner to try the veggie burger. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As we were leaving a guitarist was setting up to play some live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Fun, cute, and cozy vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Amazing fresh local mushroom omelette

We were looking for a really good Sunday brunch spot in an area we weren't familiar with....so Yelp came to the rescue! Nailed it with an amazing warm and cozy farm to table restaurant that I wish was closer to home. Wow is this place amazing. From the warm hospitality right from the start from Monty who wanted to make sure we enjoyed our dining experience, to Marie, our server, who took her time to answer all our questions -- what a great time we had at Stone House Grille. Most all the food here is made with such care from local farms and you can tell by each bite you take! My fresh Woodland Mushroom Omelet looks so simple but the flavor is so delish. Even the potatoes had such great flavor and the melted butter on my toast was next level fresh. Yea, the butter even stood out. My husband had the Bomb Diggity Burger and just look at that photo! I don't even eat meat and it looks delicious! We wanted to come back for dinner but they weren't open for dinner on Sunday, just brunch. Happy Hour looks fabulous as well. The restaurant decor is very cool and has lots of music nostalgia ... old albums and instruments and great music playing. Awesome vibe! We will definitely be back.

Fire on the mountain chicken sandwich
    Phylicia H.

My bf and I grabbed lunch here over the weekend and had a great time. Charming restaurant with friendly service and quality local ingredients. I ordered the rustic salad and he ordered the fire on the mountain chicken sandwich. We both agreed my salad was the winner. Extremely fresh and filling salad with a beautiful presentation. The fried onions topped it off. Highly recommend! The chicken sandwich was good with nice flavors, but we both thought it was a bit mushy and sloppy. I'll definitely come back and try one of their burgers next time!

They recently released a bitter called Cross Keys. It's probably the best bitter I've ever had. They're going to cask it soon, much to the excitement of my boyfriend. Rebel Hill is one of the few breweries we've come across offering cask during COVID. I've tasted pretty much every beer on their menu, from pilsner to sour to stout, and they're always well-made and delicious. They also offer 5oz. pours if you want to try a few different things. Prices are competitive, about $6-7/pint. There is plenty of parking, and the brewery is accessible for everyone. Rebel Hill also has a plethora of outdoor seating if you're feeling the need for extra sunshine, and there are two TVs inside, typically broadcasting whatever Philly sport is playing. If you're looking for food, look elsewhere. Rebel Hill is simply complying with Tom Wolfe rules, but they do have a banging pizza pop-up on Fridays! I always look forward to stopping at Rebel Hill.

All well executed if not necessarily my speed. It seems to me every brewpub in this part of the country caters to the IPA crowd. Not sure if that's because those are the people that frequent brewpubs- or if the customer base that appreciates more balanced recipes stays away because of the severe lack of same. My favs here were Mutt and Perfectly Imperfect. A bit less hoppy than the others with a more complex character. To be fair the saison is not hoppy but I'm not that big a dad on fan. In general this is well crafted beet with distinct flavors - I just wish somebody would buck the current trend of hopping everything up. I do like the ability to buy 5 oz pours to create your own flights.

There's always something happening, and the owners are almost always pouring the beers and working the bar, including their son. You can feel the devotion and passion they've put into this endeavour! Their space is awesome! It's huge, open-air optional, and a great place to post up with a couple of beers. Speaking of the beers, I'm always impressed with their offerings. Personally, the honey kolsch is my favorite. They dabble in a variety of beer styles, including the popular smoothie sours, but I'm a big fan of their lagers. Food is BYO unless there's a food truck. They also offer a hotdog combo: 2 hot dogs and bag of chips for $6; sold! The faces are friendly, the people are warm, the beer is cold, and vibes are...vibing. It's a cool place that I wished I had more time to visit. What drew my interest the number of vegan options that they had on their menu. Vegan Nachos and Vegan Pizzas. There are also some handhelds as well. I was with a group of 35 at another restaurant that did not have vegan options so I called ahead, placed my order and picked it up around 6:30 pm. At that time, there was a good sized crowd inside and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I paid for my vegan pizza, and then without drawing too much attention to myself, walked into the restaurant and went to the second floor that was reserved for us. My pizza was excellent. The Vegan Blanco Vegan Mozzarella, Tofu Ricotta, Sauteed Spinach, EVOO, Garlic I haven't had pizza in about 3 months so i was definitely looking forward to it. I really enjoyed how they did the Tofu Ricotta the Vegan Mozzarella. My only critique is this - When working with vegan cheese - especially shredded, let it sit at room temperature before popping it in the oven. By doing this, you avoid the 'matchstick' look on the pizza. What happens is that the vegan cheese going from cold to hot is too extreme so it doesn't melt, or spread out - it essentially cooks / burns in place. Having worked with vegan cheese companies over the years, there is a misconception that it is bad to leave the vegan cheese outside on the countertop - not really, it's not cheese. I devoured my pizza and appreciated having a vegan option besides fries and a veggie medley.
