We waited for ppl to finish bowling for 45 mins, they ran out of credits so we went to play and swiped our card. They came back and argued with us and tried to buy our game. We were patient and told them we paid to play. They hovered over us and tried to intimidate us. They went to get a bouncer when the bouncer returned he said why were we rude and that the ppl before us were employees. Instead of asking what transpired he blamed our group. if the other group were employees why would they prohibit paying customers. He continued to return to our lane and told us we were not allowed to play another game when we had enough credits on out card. He first argued with me, a female, and my partner stepped in. He threatened to kick us out. The Manager was worthless and did nothing to stop this bully racist and didn't even apologize for the situation. She stated the man was not even an employee and was subcontracted. She also stated that maybe he was tryna help ppl he knew. He kept threatening us. He even came outside to intimated us when I spoke to the manager outside. This man is a racist and a bully. No coincide we were the only POC there and the ppl that complained were not. We will not be returning to place and will be sure to tell others not to come here. read more

I LOVED THIS PLACE. We saw them on the yelp bpb instagram and thought that was a good enough endorsement to check it out and I'm glad we did! First of all, the happy hour went to 8 which was awesome. My boyfriend and I both made quick choices on drinks to get in under happy hour and it was so worth it. They were half off and awesome. While we waited for our food we played some of the games. I wish the games were free to play but they each cost a few quarters which is cool. But sometimes we got confused on the 2 player vs 1 player options so we didn't always play each other. But it was definitely fun. Once our food came I was very happy. We tried each of the tacos and they were all really good but the real money dish were the nachos. For real life changing. They were so good. I wish I would have just had those with chicken for my meal. Lastly, most of the staff was really cool. We got to talk a bit to El Loko and he was real cool. He made some food recommendations and waved me down when our food was ready. There was one guy that gave us a bit of a hard time ordering 4 minutes before happy hour ended which I didn't really enjoy but it was worth it. Definitely a cool spot. read more

Cool concept but dirty place. Everything was sticky. Liquor bottles had plastic cups over the tops and the bartender said it was to keep out bugs. Decor looked like they just kept all of the Voltaire stuff and added comic books. Missed opportunity for a retro 50s look to match the retro games. They are really beat up, I get it, its not really a pool hall, however that is how its labeled here. avg for better tables are $1.25 per game. They charge $2 here. Lost Weekend is a stylish barcade with some old school video games, slammin nachos, pool tables, standard cocktails, a jukebox, pretty tacos and a decent happy hour. Maybe not the most original idea or branding, but it's a winner for sure and they delivered. We got lucky to sneak in right at the end of happy hour which ends at 8! That is happy! So many (lame places in broward and palm beach have happy hours ending at 6 or don't offer it on Friday's and so it was refreshing to find a spot with a great vibe that had a reasonable HH for working folk. After we got our drinks, we wanted to shoot some pool, but at $2 a game, that's way too expensive for some hacks that don't know what they're doing. Seems like a game of pool should only cost a buck at most, but whatever. We found some throwback video games that were only a quarter or two for 2-player action and got to mashing those buttons and joysticks while waiting for the taco bell to ding indicating our order was ready. When our food finally came we went outside and sat a nice table along the sidewalk to enjoy our grub. The tacos were pretty (is that a thing) and the nachos were arguably the best I've ever tasted The tacos were solid, but not nearly as amazing as the nachos. I really enjoyed the veggie taco that used roasted squash in place of some meaty protein. I have to say I was a bit disappointed in the $5 duck taco which didn't really deliver for the price tag IMO. I really love the concept of lost weekend but the execution left a lot to be desired. the space for lost weekend is poorly laid out and even with a small group of people I found the space to be very tightly packed. Cleanliness was also an issue the night I was in attendance. More than one overly drunk woman was in the bathroom vomiting and at least two men were so drunk that they dropped beer bottles onto the concrete floor in the bar area. I'm not saying that lost weekend is the one who over-served because any of these people could have come from another location but it was disturbing to see that level of intoxication and the mess that was created because of it. For those interested in playing pool and billiard games please be aware that the tables are tightly packed and leave very little room for maneuvering. There are few spaces to put down a drink and even fewer spaces for friends to watch games underway. I did not sample any of the foods and I found my weak vodka soda for $11 to be underwhelming. This is a proper millennial pool hall. It has a full bar with cheap drinks and well made cocktails. There are 3 pool tables but plenty of other arcade games. My favorites being the skee ball, foos ball air hockey, air hockey, shuffle board. They do use tokens which are found at the back on the left before the hallway to the bathroom. In the back there's a kitchen with great Latin choices. The front of the bar has a few chairs to relax and the show is usually in the front left corner. The bar is great and takes up most of the right side of the hall. The bartenders are pretty quick. I really like the fact that they have their taps and drinks on the on the chalk wall as well as weekly events. I don't know if they allowed smoking but they had tables outside which were busy. They do have security. One thing I do have to say is the girls here aren't really down and will just follow you to a strip club with your boys and not do anything and kill the vibe. It's pretty cool when you find good food at a different place and it turns out to be better than where you were going. First time writing a review but had to do it since no one picks up the phone at this place. Was there Sunday with a group. Was relatively busy when we walked in. Only had two bartenders working. Took forever to finally get our order taken which wasn't the end of the world. But the bartender who served us, was the shorter and smaller of the two guys, had to have been the most intoxicated bartender I've ever dealt with. Could barely keep his eyes open, slurred his words, and I had to tell him my order THREE different times (it wasn't that loud). Took him forever to make our drinks 2 were AWFUL. One was especially WAY too strong. Couldn't get his attention to get it fixed. Went up to the bar again and there was only one bartender. Drunk guy had disappeared. Didn't feel like waiting so we all left. Place could be cool but whole experience left an awful taste in our mouth literally and figuratively. read more

It's sad that I have to write about this kind of discrimination in 2022. The sign outside said ladies drink free. I ordered my drink the 1st bar tender told me that the deal only ran until midnight I thought nothing of it. I later walked outside looked at the sign and saw that the deal actually stated it runs until 2 Am. I got the attention of another bar tender only to be told I needed to get a drink ticket from the bouncer I asked the bouncer. He stated he was out of tickets. I was denied a free drink on both occasions. I later went to the other the bartender who was African American stated because it's ladies night our well drink are free. The only reason I didn't receive a free drink from the other bartenders is because I am black. This company needs to get all of their employees on the same page so they don't come across as prejudiced. Their deals should apply to people of all races.. read more

This dimly lit pool hall/arcade bar with great craft cocktails and an even nicer happy hour is sure to earn its rightful spot as a West Palm Beach essential. You will never be disappointed by the awesome tacos, nachos, and Mexican street corn! This place can be quite busy during the late nights, but it is a pretty chill spot in the earlier hours. Even though this place can be quite the madhouse, there is ample of space for people to be able to chill. There is space out front and a lot of seating in the front area of the shop, followed by a myriad of old, classic arcade games. The bathrooms are kept clean, too. Lost weekend is such an awesome local spot! I've been multiple times and the entire staff is very helpful and attentive, especially the dark haired bar tender Nicole. Even on what looked like a hellacious Saturday (there was a Santa bar crawl), she was Very friendly and is always happy to help quickly.
