Nice pool hall. Very reasonably priced and the tables are new. The staff is friendly and the beer selection is good.

And while they allowed smoking, it didn't permeate the place - as long as you didn't stand near someone smoking, it wasn't bad at all.

The lobster appetizer was phenomenal. The chicken oysters, I personally don't see the hype there but the potato served with them is both the crispiest and the softest potato I've ever eaten. The short rib entree with mole sauce was as tender and flavorful as can be. The local jerk swordfish was cooked perfectly and everything on that plate together created wonderful bites. Cornbread dessert was my choice, I love cornbread and that hit the mark with the blueberry compote and ice cream. One nitpick, and this is absolutely a nitpick. The string lights that hang down the wall to the tables are filthy. So dirty they looked like twine rope. Now that didn't change my experience or make me question the cleanliness of the kitchen at all. That food was perfect. And I wouldn't lower my rating .1 because of it I would go back to driftwood more frequently if my schedule fit their hours better, this place is top notch. Make your reso and enjoy We had 4 cocktails, 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. Shared everything. Bill with gratuity was about $270. It was worth every penny.

We never felt rushed and had plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We started with the Steak Tartare, served with beer-battered smoked onion petals, truffle, egg yolk, and manchego. It was excellent and one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the Za'atar Roasted Local Vegetables with spicy greens, feta tzatziki, lime pickles, and pepitas. It was good, but it wasn't my favorite dish. For our entrées, one person ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with pork and beef ragu, housemade raw milk ricotta, and Parmigiano-Reggiano. It was rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. We also ordered the Jerk Local Swordfish from Fort Lauderdale with braised Swiss chard, local radish escovitch, and jackfruit miso beurre blanc. While the swordfish itself was cooked well, I wasn't a fan of the jerk seasoning. The flounder, however, was outstanding and probably my favorite entrée. To drink, I had the Les Fumées Blanches Orange Sauvignon Blanc, which I really enjoyed. Someone else had an Old Fashioned. For dessert, we shared the Affogato with mascarpone ice cream, dark chocolate, and espresso, and it was a perfect ending to the meal. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and we appreciated being able to enjoy our meal at a relaxed pace. It is on the pricey side, but that's fairly typical for a farm-to-table restaurant using quality ingredients. There's a small parking lot behind the restaurant, and we were lucky enough to grab a spot. Overall, it's a fun place for a date night or a nice dinner with family. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try. Or if you want, they have a great bar and you can hang out there and have a bite.

Stacey was our server. She was great. Checked on us frequently, took our order accurately, came back to make sure all was alright. Etc. We took advantage of their very reasonable lunch specials. And my husband also enjoyed a beer on special. He had their meatloaf with green beans and mashed potatoes and gravy. Each piece of meatloaf -- there were two -- was thoroughly cooked through and then grilled on each side. The green beans were fresh and served al dente. He even said the gravy was good. He was very happy with his meal. I got the fish and chips, but substituted mashed potatoes for the chips (fries). The fish was pollock coated in a light and airy beer batter. There were three pieces to the order. It came with tartar sauce and I requested some cocktail sauce, also. The fish was very good. As were the mashed potatoes (with little bits of red onion?) and brown gravy. I was planning on only eating half and wound up eating the entire meal. Glad we stopped by. The lunch specials were reasonably priced and the food was surprisingly quite good.

Tucked right on the Intracoastal Waterway, this local staple delivers on every front: incredible views, fantastic drinks, and top-tier seafood.  The Atmosphere: You can't beat the location. Sitting under the thatch roof, sipping a cold drink, and watching the boats glide by encapsulates the ultimate laid-back Florida lifestyle. It's vibrant, breezy, and effortlessly fun--complete with great live music and the classic bonus of watching people feed the catfish off the docks!  The Food: Everything we ordered was packed with flavor. The Maryland Crab Cakes and the fresh local seafood are absolute standouts, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don't skip out on an appetizer like their fresh fish dip or conch fritters, and make sure you save room for a slice of their house-made Key Lime Pie to finish the meal.  The Service: Despite being a busy waterfront hotspot, the staff is welcoming, attentive, and keeps the tropical cocktails flowing. Whether you're coming in by car or pulling right up to their dock slips by boat, Two Georges is everything a waterfront restaurant should be.

The cheese sauce works with it instead of fighting it. The scallions actually added something, which in South Florida is rarer than you'd think. And they served the sour cream and pico on the SIDE, which is smarter than most restaurants twice the price have figured out. The Fork Rule was violated. But when you put chili and cheese sauce on chips without layering, physics wins every time. That's fixable. Layer it, add more chips, and this nacho moves up significantly. At $10.95 after a good night out with the music loud and a cold beer in hand? These nachos are exactly what you need. Not trying to be anything they're not. 6 out of 10. Classic dark respite from Florida's sun and endless Tiki bar scene. By 2:00 the place was hopping with very polite regulars and staffed with one of the most efficient and hard working bartenders I've ever seen. I started to worry because the Bar was packed and the bartender was also handling the tables. I didn't need to worry. She was the best! Kept me stocked with ice cold beer. The menu is limited to bar food but it is done very well. I had a burger that was very tasty and done perfectly. My wife has a French dip sandwich that she said was delicious. Add hand cut fries to the burgers and ice cold beer and you have a perfect Florida afternoon!
