StaI was staying at the Delta Hotel by the Toronto Airport and didn't want to venture out for dinner, so I decided to eat at the hotel restaurant. I ordered a burger and a side salad, which turned out to be better than I expected. While the prices were a bit high, as is typical for hotel dining, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The service was prompt, and the staff were friendly. I do wish they had more healthy options on the menu and didn't try to be overly creative with classic dishes, like the club sandwich. Overall, if you're looking for a quick bite, there's no need to leave the hotel. read more

This is an interesting review that is based on experience as well as food. It's not the most expensive hotel bar, but it's not the most affordable either. What it comes down to is I ordered the steak, but they didn't have steak. Which is fine, except it took bout thirty minutes for them to let me know they didn't have steak. When everyone else's food arrived, that's when I was informed. So I decided to have the rack of ribs, which was alright. I was really committed to those ribs. Came here for dinner during anime north with my friend. They served standard American/Italian food. I got the veggie pasta and my friend got the chili hotdog. I enjoyed the pasta, although I thought it got a bit greasy towards the end. It took a long time to get the waiters attention to get seated, order, to pay etc. The restaurant had a nice ambiance. read more

Good food, slow service. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here since most hotel restaurants are typically sub par. The menu offer a wide variety of dishes and the food is delicious. There are plenty of seating in this restaurant - bar, lounge, or table. You can pick your own table but the arrival time of a waiter/waitress is up to chance. Char Siu $22 - I enjoyed this pork belly and duck confit dish. It comes with mashed potatoes and maple butter glaze which produced a nice sweet and savory combination. It also comes with pita and hummus, which makes a nice appetizer. Artisan Beet Salad $15 - Delicious salad and not dominated by beets. The yogurt dressing is very good and not overly sweet. Diamond Lil's Star cocktail $12 - This coconut rum + lychee liqueur + lychee juice + lemon juice is delicious and not too sweet nor strong. I stayed at the Delta hotel for a lil' business trip and the night I arrived I sure was RAVENOUS. I was five seconds away from Uber Eats-ing or Door Dashing, Hell I'm not even sure that was an option here, but I took a gander at the Lot 41 menu in the lobby and said, fine, this will do. I'm so extra that eating at the restaurant in the hotel I'm staying just doesn't seem cool enough (I know, right, like delivery DOES?) but it usually seems to be a little BLAH for my tastes. Calm down Lot 41, I'm not talking about you. No no no, this was truly a pleasant experience for a lonely traveler like myself. The bartender was kind, accommodating, and recommended my pictured drink which was definitely sparkling wine and chambord with berries but I can't remember its exact title. After a slightly weird and LENGTHY time at Customs (the Coronavirus is at large afterall and the entry to the country is much more challenging) I was looking for any alcohol to put me in a happy state of mind. Indeed this did the trick! My salad was good, I mean the bacon was a smidge weird to me, but it worked and the crunch was the thing I needed to hold me over. I wasn't crazy about the tacos but that was my bad... I don't care for steak that much or pickled onions, so like, Danielle, what's your problem? It's exactly what I ordered. The sauce on the tacos was so so so good though that I literally just picked off meat and onions and ate cheese and sauce in a shell. I'm a weirdo. I'm sorry. Every other normal person would have enjoyed these things. Unless you're like me and then don't get them - please learn from my foolishness. The star of the show as is usually is the case was this phenomenal tiramisu which was displayed rather majestically. Even at Italian restaurants it doesn't look so pretty sometimes. I would drink champagne and eat this thing ten times over so definitely go there for at least this alone. Not that I'll be in Toronto all the time but this was a great experience and I'm happy I gave the 'ol "hotel restaurant" a try. I'm learning that their cuisine is actually quite delicious. read more

As a hotel bar this can be a great place. My suggestion is order a drink and order something lite and see how your bartender does. If the pour is good if the mix is good sit down and stay right there. If not move on quickly. Your bartender will totally make or break this place on any given night. read more

a huge shout out to Jessica and Nasim!! I had a major issue with my hip in the restaurant and couldn't get up. (currently waiting for a hip replacement). they went and found me a scooter and even with a dead battery Nasim pushed me from the restaurant to my room. no small feat considering I'm carrying 280 pounds of weight. I was embarrassed and started to panic and they calmed me down and made everything ok. I'm not sure where I'd be at this moment without them. no thanks to the dumbass delta by marriot hotel where they couldn't find a single wheelchair. read more

I remember this place when it was called Harry's. Typical hotel bar. I love the hotel. $12 draft beers... small plate meals. I stay at the hotel because of the location. Overall a good hotel bar. Just a bit pricey for regular visits. read more

Dad and I rolled into the hotel around 10 PM. We really didn't feel like driving around looking for something else at that time of night with an early flight out the next morning. I usually avoid hotel restaurants - they're typically 5 star prices for a 1-2 star meal. Not here though! This one is actually a must-try. I had the steak Tacos, they were delicious and dad got a burger. Both well prepared and delicious. Also very fast. The waiter was handling both the bar and loin now area. This is a cute and convenient hotel bar. I was starving and one of the staff recommended the love and mercy pizza. It was basically sausage and pepperoni pizza. Hard to go wrong with that. Some of the other reviews made me a little skeptical but I think management has made a concerted effort to improve. Beers were reasonable for a hotel bar ($9 for a 20 ou draft) so sounds like they got the message from other reviewers. Was staying at the attached hotel for work so popped down around dinner time for a drink at the bar. Service was great (super friendly waitress who was attentive but not overbearing). Decent number of other patrons in here, especially for a Tuesday, but I'm sure it was mostly the business traveler crowd. Everyone seemed pretty pleased with the service and such, though. Ended up ordering some wings while I was finishing some work. Pretty good and came with a side of chips. If I was staying at the hotel again, would definitely eat here again. So this was not a bad experience, but it didn't blow me away either. The restaurant is located in the Delta hotel in Toronto across from Congress Center. It has an actual cool seating area and vibrant colors as part of the ambiance. I first ordered a dirty martini, which tasted nothing of olive juice. I had to send it back as it made me nauseous to drink. It actually tasted a bit of aerosols... not sure that is accurate but. I then got a Chardonnay which tasted exactly like a Chardonnay and it was delicious. For dinner I tried the Miso Salmon. This dish was plated very nicely, however, the taste wasn't my favorite. It has a serious suspicion that it had been under a heat lamp for a bit of time. I also had a Caesar salad which was pretty good too. read more

Food is good, comes out in good time, neat space. Staff and service sucks. We sat for a long time before the waitress (Julie) came over, and she never checked on us. After we were served we got into conversation, she came back over to our plates and started picking them up saying "guess you didnt want this after all"(!!!) What!? Bartenders are equally rude, and drinks are WAY overpriced. If you can go to another restaurant or bar.....do. If you cant, opt for $1 more per plate with room service. read more

Service was great. Food came out very fast. Decor is comfortable and modern. I ordered the Thai shrimp. It came with some of the best homemade hummus. It did not have cauliflower which I was excited about but the asparagus and broccoli was cooked perfectly and everything was well seasoned.
