    Veggie pasta
    Maya L.

Came here for dinner during anime north with my friend. They served standard American/Italian food. I got the veggie pasta and my friend got the chili hotdog. I enjoyed the pasta, although I thought it got a bit greasy towards the end. It took a long time to get the waiters attention to get seated, order, to pay etc. The restaurant had a nice ambiance.

    Hummus... $14

$14 for hummus in a container that restaurants use for complimentary condiments. This is the definition of robbery!

Good food, slow service. I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here since most hotel restaurants are typically sub par. The menu offer a wide variety of dishes and the food is delicious. There are plenty of seating in this restaurant - bar, lounge, or table. You can pick your own table but the arrival time of a waiter/waitress is up to chance. Char Siu $22 - I enjoyed this pork belly and duck confit dish. It comes with mashed potatoes and maple butter glaze which produced a nice sweet and savory combination. It also comes with pita and hummus, which makes a nice appetizer. Artisan Beet Salad $15 - Delicious salad and not dominated by beets. The yogurt dressing is very good and not overly sweet. Diamond Lil's Star cocktail $12 - This coconut rum + lychee liqueur + lychee juice + lemon juice is delicious and not too sweet nor strong. Restaurant is located inside the Delta Marriott airport hotel. ....| \ _ , , , - - , , _ , .../ , ` . - ' ` ' . _ \ - ; ; ; , _ ..| , a - ) ) _ . ; . The succulent tiramisu which is so photogenic, I must say!

I stayed at the Delta hotel for a lil' business trip and the night I arrived I sure was RAVENOUS. I was five seconds away from Uber Eats-ing or Door Dashing, Hell I'm not even sure that was an option here, but I took a gander at the Lot 41 menu in the lobby and said, fine, this will do. I'm so extra that eating at the restaurant in the hotel I'm staying just doesn't seem cool enough (I know, right, like delivery DOES?) but it usually seems to be a little BLAH for my tastes. Calm down Lot 41, I'm not talking about you. No no no, this was truly a pleasant experience for a lonely traveler like myself. The bartender was kind, accommodating, and recommended my pictured drink which was definitely sparkling wine and chambord with berries but I can't remember its exact title. After a slightly weird and LENGTHY time at Customs (the Coronavirus is at large afterall and the entry to the country is much more challenging) I was looking for any alcohol to put me in a happy state of mind. Indeed this did the trick! My salad was good, I mean the bacon was a smidge weird to me, but it worked and the crunch was the thing I needed to hold me over. I wasn't crazy about the tacos but that was my bad... I don't care for steak that much or pickled onions, so like, Danielle, what's your problem? It's exactly what I ordered. The sauce on the tacos was so so so good though that I literally just picked off meat and onions and ate cheese and sauce in a shell. I'm a weirdo. I'm sorry. Every other normal person would have enjoyed these things. Unless you're like me and then don't get them - please learn from my foolishness. The star of the show as is usually is the case was this phenomenal tiramisu which was displayed rather majestically. Even at Italian restaurants it doesn't look so pretty sometimes. I would drink champagne and eat this thing ten times over so definitely go there for at least this alone. Not that I'll be in Toronto all the time but this was a great experience and I'm happy I gave the 'ol "hotel restaurant" a try. I'm learning that their cuisine is actually quite delicious.

    Great looking space.

I remember this place when it was called Harry's. Typical hotel bar. I love the hotel. $12 draft beers... small plate meals. I stay at the hotel because of the location. Overall a good hotel bar. Just a bit pricey for regular visits.

    Miso Salmon

So this was not a bad experience, but it didn't blow me away either. The restaurant is located in the Delta hotel in Toronto across from Congress Center. It has an actual cool seating area and vibrant colors as part of the ambiance. I first ordered a dirty martini, which tasted nothing of olive juice. I had to send it back as it made me nauseous to drink. It actually tasted a bit of aerosols... not sure that is accurate but. I then got a Chardonnay which tasted exactly like a Chardonnay and it was delicious. For dinner I tried the Miso Salmon. This dish was plated very nicely, however, the taste wasn't my favorite. It has a serious suspicion that it had been under a heat lamp for a bit of time. I also had a Caesar salad which was pretty good too.

Watching it, it reminded me of Shanghai and their clubs with all the lights, and electric music. Immediately I was excited! So I called them and made a reservation on Monday for Friday for 5 people. I got in contact with Alex, the manager, he set us up for Friday and answered any question I had. As this place is very new, there weren't many images or a website set up when I found them, and I was still unsure if they were open due to COVID. But they are open! I informed my girls of this place, they were thrilled and our group quickly turned from 5 to 7. Luckily, I called Leng Keng back asking if I could increase the size of my party & they were able to accommodate me! During our reservation: Coming to the place, the exterior isn't the most attractive setting. But as we looked past it, inside was just like the video that I had seen. It took me back to the time I was out with my expat friends in Shanghai club hopping. Covid protocols: Since we're still in a pandemic, Leng Keng had great protocols emplaced. As we showed our IDs to security, we signed in with our name and phone numbers. Once inside, there were masks & hand sanitizer available at the door. The tables were well distanced and people would stay within their allocated booths. The atmosphere of Leng Keng is extremely beautiful, nothing like I've ever seen in other Toronto bars/lounges/clubs. The lights are constantly moving & changing colours very beautifully as electric music plays in the background. We were greeted by very nice servers that showed us to our table. Once seated, we were able to take in the place more, & my friends were truly impressed by the place. For food we ordered Calamari and French Fries to share. For drinks we ordered Cosmos, Rum & Coke, Margaritas & a couple shots of Vodka. Everything tasted well, besides the Calamari that was slightly too fishy, the Margaritas didn't come with limes or salt on the rim of the cup. Other than that, this place was magnificent & we do believe Leng Keng has great potential in being the next trending spot in Toronto. We will be back soon! Thank you!

I take Attwell Drive often. At the corner of this street and Reading Court, I always see the Residence Inn. I didn't know that there was this Moxies at Sandman Signature Toronto Hotel further down until I did a search for Moxies near my workplace. I love happy hour deals these days. I came here after work last Wednesday to check out this eatery. It's at the end of a secluded cul de sac. I actually want to stay at Sandman because it was so beautiful and quiet when I was there. There was plenty of parking. I backed into an available spot and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a cheerful female staffer. She led me to a booth near the corridor to the hotel from the restaurant. It was also where the washrooms were. I was near a couple of women with a baby. The baby was sweet and was quiet. It was my lucky day! This Moxies does have happy hour between 2 pm and 5 pm. I got here just after 3 pm. Perfect! The interior is gorgeous. It's the prettiest Moxies that I have ever dined in. I'd come back just to be in such a beautiful setting. I liked the separate room with the Blue Jays game on. There were a couple of guys watching the game there. Another special detail about this Moxies is that there's a test kitchen menu. It was my first time seeing it at any Moxies. My server was Joe. He was polite and nice. I got these items: - Hibiscus refresher - Dry ribs - Miso tuna crispy rice The hibiscus refresher was a part of the test kitchen menu. I got the non-alcoholic version. It was delicious. The hibiscus was so good with lime and cinnamon flavours. You can add tequila, but I liked it the way that it was. When I lived in Winnipeg, my go-to order was dry ribs with whatever salad I was craving. I relived half of it by getting dry ribs. It was great having them again. They were meaty and yummy, with the perfect amount of seasoning and salt. I was happy! I didn't know what miso tuna crispy rice was. So, I had to order it. It's essentially sushi-like pieces. There were six pieces of perfectly crispy rice mini bricks topped with miso tuna and mayo. I loved the contrast between the crunchy rice and fresh tuna mixture. It was delightful having this appetizer. I needed a drink. The only downside was that my server didn't drop by until I was done with my appetizers. I ordered a Diet Coke when he did, which I got immediately. It was much needed and icy! I was way too full to get any dessert. I got the bill instead. I tipped and tapped. Done! I used the women's washroom before I left. It was super fancy. It had a seating area in the middle of all single stalls. Wow! I'd come back here simply to enjoy good food and drinks in the most gorgeous eatery. Such a wonderful gem of a find! (181)

He had banter, could make drinks well (creatively added some small flair to a lot of the standard drinks that guests were asking him to make) and also gave professional suggestions whenever he felt appropriate. The other bartender (who had curly hair and looked really young) was, I assume, quite inexperienced. There were times throughout the night where I approached him and he was on his phone scrolling through youtube. He made me the wrong drinks twice which was funny. I asked him for a tequila sunrise and he gave me a sex on the beach.
