Want to feel like you've been to Italy? Go to Perbacco. I sat at the bar to have a glass of wine and a salad. Greeted at the front of the house with a big smile and a Welcome. I knew good things were coming. The bar tender introduced himself, Alex, and before I could sit down a plate of focaccia was before me with a side of olive oil and balsamic. Wow. Plus the focaccia was slightly browned on top inviting me to "dip." Next a super Tuscan before me. Alex drops a little in the glass for me to taste and the manager walks by grabs the bottle and drops in more than a taste- smiling laughing and telling me to enjoy. I'm feeling like I'm having a Lake Como experience only I'm in Durango, Co. Weird huh? Good weird. I wish I had tried the dishes I saw. Next time. Go, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent local Italian restaurant. The service was great and very friendly. They went out of their way to make my wife a custom pasta dish that she'd like with vegetables. They were very good to our three children and made them some custom desserts are they are picky. We will come back when we visit my brother again. The food was delicious. The ambience was also excellent with appropriate decor and a medium volume level.

Unbelievable service and food. Looks like a Pub inside. Staff and food is 10 stars. Absolutely try the Crisp Martini. Everything we ordered was delicious. Francesco, our waiter was sweet and informative. We had 4 people taking care of our table. I'll travel Durango again just to eat here.

We had an early reservation on a Saturday evening. We were sat quickly. Our server came over to welcome us and provided us with the list of apps and specials right away. Our server brought bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Delish! We ordered the mussels for an appetizer, which was tasty. We used the remainder of our bread for the mussel broth. I ordered the venison, with mased potatoes and broccolini, one of the specials. I was amazed at the portion size. My partner ordered the seafood risotto, again portion size was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious! Our last course was dessert. We ordered cheesecake and a cannoli, and both were amazing. I absolutely loved the food and portions. The restaurant itself, has three rooms to it, one room had the bar in it. We were sat in the room closest to the train, and there were large windows in the room, which provided a lot of natural light. We will be going back to try the other food choices.

We had such a great experience at Perbacco Cucina Italiana! Even though it was a last minute and busy 4th of July evening we were greeted right away by a few friendly staff members. Our server which was also one of the owners was fantastic, super attentive and kind as well as personable! The seafood pasta was absolutely amazing, full of flavor easily a 10/10. Reminded me of one I had in Italy..just tasted so authentic and fresh. The focaccia bread was delicious, and the Chardonnay was perfectly chilled. Portions were big! The vibe of the restaurant is beautiful and cozy and perfect for a nice night out not to mention the amazing location..I wait to come back!

What an Awesome place! So beautiful inside and the service is outstanding! Our server was Dillion and he had plenty of help, seems everyone there chips in to make sure you have a wonderful dining experience. We shared the Cesar salad to start off with. Then we both had an entree. I chose the parppardelle w the 4 meat bolognese. My wife had to try the Lasagna. The lasagna is so meaty and rich! Both entrees were amazing and huge portions! If you want a great evening out then stop by Perbacco's and let them show you a great dining experience.

Don't walk... run... to Perbacco. And make a reservation first or you may not get a table. Durango has steadily been lifting its food game - and it's now in the realm of top notch foodie towns with some recent impressive openings; and Perbacco delivers the quality Italian punch Durango needed. The service is beyond outstanding and if you ask to sit in Logan's section - you will be treated to one of the most delightful waiters we've had in a long time. The owner, Antonio, can be seen wandering the floor and checking in on quality and customer satisfaction. The food... next level spectacular. If you like AUTHENTIC old world Italian recipes - you will not be disappointed. The Arugula & hearts of palm salad was magnificent. Pastas were all homemade perfection and the seafood pasta might be the best we've had. I've longed for gluten free Gnocchi for years and Perbacco delivered! Their pesto was absolute perfection. Do NOT skip dessert. We tried almost all of them and each one was better than the next - but our faves were the Tiramisu and Panna cotta. Wine list - as good as the food. Top notch selections. It felt like it was in a touristy spot and we had avoided it for that reason - big mistake on our part. Don't worry about the location - JUST GO. Perbacco is an unexpected triumph and you will LOVE it.

Terrible not properly trained waiting staff. Got served bread and the waitress forgot the dipping sauce. Also no training on how to properly pour wine. It was awkward to watch. We asked for the kids food to come out first asap with our appetizers, did not happen. My beef carpaccio clearly had been premade as the overwhelming lemon zest sauce had oxide the meat and it was glued to the ice cold plate. Main course was smothered in heavy cream and it arrived while we still had the empty appetizers plates that our waitress refused to remove. Even after passing multiple times. So we had to remove the plates for the new food and set them by the window. This restaurant is beyond overpriced for the quality of service and food. Same glass of bourbon is $3 cheaper a few establishments down the road. Also not kids friendly at all as mentioned in other reviews.

I made a last minute reservation and got a friendly greeting when I arrived. I was lucky to get a spot outside because it was so nice out. My server was very knowledgeable about the food and wine. I started with a cocktail that I didn't love, so I probably should've stuck with his wine recommendations. They brought out a variety of bread to start, which was nice. I enjoyed my pasta, wine, and I had limoncello to finish. This is right by the train station, so it's a great way to end a day on the train.

    Great wine selection

Amazing service! Delicious food! What an amazing evening! Love when the chef/owner comes out to check on all the tables!!

My favorite Italian restaurant in Durango. Crave worthy Italian dishes straight from the Nonna you didn't know you had. Comfortable ambience inside or out on the patio. Impeccable service with multiple staff working together in symphony to make your dining experience terrific. Everything on the menu is delicious. My personal favorite is Coniglio with Nonna's secret recipe gnocchi! Try it tonight! You wont regret it!

Great ambiance and service. Food was delicious. Wished the had an appetizer of meatballs and sausage. Also the did not have spaghetti or angel hair. Had to ask if spaghetti and meatballs was an option. They said yes, it's off menu. I would definitely go back

Very good food and atmosphere. Very busy and service was a little slow. Appeared to be affected by the train crowd.

As soon as we walked in, the hostess greeted us and sat us, no reservation required. The restaurant itself is smaller and has a bar area/counter next to the dinner tables. Our server Maddie was great, had great suggestions, and was attentive. Bread service could've been warm, also never received the butter with it. I don't normally go with the "Chef's Special" because I always feel like it means "the seafood is about to go and we have to sell it" lol I couldnt resist the Frutti di Mare Cannelloni. I paired this with an Old Fashioned and the Brussels Sprouts Pancetta. We also tried the Carbonara. All the dishes were amazing. I was not disappointed with the cannelloni, wonderful seafood taste medley, not "fishy". The Brussel Sprouts were a hit, my partner normally hates Brussel Sprouts but he enjoyed these. The carbonara was perfect! Honestly loved all the dishes tonight. Might come back Sunday to try something else off the menu--pictures of the veal Marsala looked amazing.

Halfway through our salad they seated a male right next to my husband. The rest of the bar area was open and all the booths along the wall were open as well. The man was filthy dirty and the odor from him filled the room. His hands had blood on them too. He kept mumbling and laughing and when the bartender tried to take his order he was having a difficult time understanding him. My husband got up to go to address the situation and the man proceeded to show me his teeth and growling at me. This behavior completely changed the direction of our evening and hopes for a nice experience for dinner. The restaurant wanted us to make changes rather than the man disrupting the evening. We decided to leave and dine elsewhere. The restaurant made zero efforts to accommodate this unfortunate time for us on our vacation. Empathy for someone is not lost on me, but lack of respect for us was certainly lost on the management here! Save yourself the time and find an alternate place to patronize when in Durango!

The wait for a table was a bit longer than I expected, but once I sat down, the food more than made up for it. I started with the Baked Meatball Grinder as an appetizer. The meatball itself was tender and flavorful, but the baguette was on the tougher side, which made it a little hard to bite into. Still, the taste of the meatball carried the dish. For my main course, I ordered the Bolognese with Salmon as my protein, and this ended up being the highlight of the meal. The pasta was cooked just right, the salmon was perfectly prepared, and the wagyu beef sauce tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, if I was not so full, I could have easily gone for another plate. Overall, this place is a good choice in Durango if you are in the mood for hearty Italian comfort food.
