Lotus is my go to for my nails. I have been going here for a while. It's is located in Abercorn Common. It is between Ulta & Michael's. Once inside you are greeted with clean whites and neutrals. Along with chandeliers & a wall of organized polishes with up lighting. Bathrooms are in the back. They are kept clean and well stocked. They have many pedicure stations. And multiple counters for manicures. Each station has all of its own supplies. They don't reuse supplies. The staff toss and bring out new ones for each customer. You can call ahead and make appointments on the phone if you so choose. But they take walk ins. I'm personally a gel manicure fan. Gotta love no chips for two weeks! A gel manicure is $30. A color change is $20. A pedicure can run anywhere from $30 and up. It just depends on which pedi you choose. The gel polish they use does not ruin my nails like some gel brands do. My nails do not peel, crack, or break. This matters to me! Because I want to keep my natural nails healthy. The staff are always kind. They know I'm very particular about the shape of my nails. And they always ask me if I'm satisfied. And they don't take offense if I ask to shape my nails myself because I'm so particular. They have taken COVID precautions. You must wear a mask. And wash your hands upon entering. It is busy on the weekends! I try to go during the week before lunch to avoid being around too many people. Or I'll go between 2-4. During the week it's not as busy in general. But those are the hours I've found to have the least amount of people. read more

Tried to resolve an issue with a set of nails, she wouldn't listen to the issues and said and I quote "shut the fuck up white bitch" and wouldn't give any type of refund or resolution. I'm not here to bad mouth this salon, I actually genuinely like coming here and will come again. But only for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. This is more of a warning post for others. Ombré is an art form, as is dip. I would never get this done again, for obvious reasons-- see photo. It should be said my technician was so very sweet and kind, and I tipped her well because I liked her and enjoyed speaking to her and her kind disposition. Also, I had an event immediately afterward so I did not have time to have them redo this. I came in with my friend today and wanted a gel manicure for our pregnancy announcement pictures tomorrow, but as you can see my nails are AWFUL. When I came in my nails had a perfect length, and the lady asked if I wanted to cut them and I said no, just shaped a little and she filed them obviously way too short. (It was already too late to say anything) I got them done THIS MORNING and you can see that they look like I need to get them redone! Absolutely AWFUL. I brought my girls into get the child mani/pedis as a reward for getting good grades. We had an apt for 3. It was my youngest first time so I mentioned that from the get go. They put both girls in a chair and turned on the water in my olders chair and then just left her there. Once I realized she had been sitting there with no bubbling water I asked them to move her to a working chair. To no resolve. Meanwhile my other daughter wanted a mermaid design. They said they cannot do design without gel, (not putting my 4 yr olds virgin nail beds in a UV lamp) so she picked a bunch of colors as any funky mermaid loving child would. They ladies began to go back and forth in Vietnamese about "only one color". So I kindly reminded them about thier tips. Meanwhile my other daughter is still sitting in a cold water chair all by herself. my girls ended up only getting thier nails painted, no hand massage or mani anything, had them walking on the cold floor to move around seats. Had my other daughter slide into the chair my other daughter was sitting in (no cleaning or rinsing of hers) only to rush through and cut corners with her experience ( after she waited so patiently to be moved and start her "spa experience)Mind you my girls are on behavior as if we were in a library in case other people were there to relax? as I discussed with them prior to. I feel like I should have skipped my own pedicure, kept my own shoes on to get thier nail polish colors and move them where they needed to go to keep them from not having a negative experience. If the ladies that work there do not like kids, don't offer kid services. Not everyone gets to do things like that , this was a big deal to them and I feel like the kitty cat princess chairs alone were not enough to convince me of coming back. We were not demanding, demeaning or disrespectful any way. Simply a mother and her little girls doing something special and out of the normal. I don't appreciate how they were treated nor do I appreciate the level of disregard for any kind of customer service. Right in front of me as I was clearly advocating for them the best i could while still trying to set a good example to them. Still fitting out a $155 bill. So heads up if you want to take your littles for an experience, make your requests known and clear with the manager guy in the front from the jump off, if they ladies start to get up in arms...go somewhere else. Nice interior and good location. My friend and I had appointments, arrived on time and we were taken on time. We paid for collagen manicure and the signature pedicure . The menu of services explained what we were paying for and how much the services cost. (75. each) We did NOT receive all the items listed. It was all a BIG disappointment with very little service. In a calm way, we let the person in charge know that we did not receive multiple described services that were supposed to be included. She immediately became defensive and raised her voice and made multiple comments that contrasted themselves. We realized we were not going to get any resolution. I went there to get my nails done for my wedding. When we got there I had to wait for another nail tech to arrive to do my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and explained it to her. I did not have a good experience with his company I went in and asked him to give me the $35 pedicure. I did not know that you would have to pay extra for them to use pumice stone on your feet; that was always included when you get a pedicure. My feet looks awful. She did not continue with my cuticle remover because I felt that I was going to get hurt but the worst part is my feet look the same as when I went in there. The only difference is that polish was on it instead of off. I have put before and after pictures below, please look at the heels on my feet and you tell me if that looks like I had a pedicure. I would not let anyone walk out of my place of business that provides pedicure like that. I paid $35 I would like to get my money back. , I went on and paid it because I didn't want to start confusion and I had a party to go to but I am so disappointed .I will never go there or send any of my friends and family there to get a pedicure ever again. I did address it with the man at the front desk and he said that you would have to pay $10 for the pumice stone. I have never had to pay extra to have my feet scrubbed with the pumice stone . I don't care how you look at it they should not have let me out of that building with my heels looking like that I just gave them $35 for nothing. You can clearly see my heels did not have any extra attention and they want me to pay 10 extra dollars with something that should've been standard. And HELL no I didn't leave a tip because they didn't care. I don't think they went to school to learn how to do this. My toenails are all shaped differently. I tried to tell her how I want my toenails shaped but she didn't seem to understand.I am one unhappy customer. Refund my money and I forgot to add that she rinsed/cleaned the equipment off in the water that I was soaking my feet in after she was finished using it. I think that was disgusting & that's how I know that they have not been trained properly to do this type of work. I am so so upset about this. I wish I could give 0 stars; I would highly advise you to find another nail salon and AVOID this business at all costs. Not one question was asked of me regarding my nails, I asked for tips and they put one on my thumb and proceeded to cut it down to my original nail length anyways. Then when applying the dip powder, they left the tip glue and polish clumped under every single fingernail. I ended up spending over $100 in one day at two nail salons because I ended up going to another salon after Lotus where they had to completely take my nails off again and fix the horrendous mistakes made my the Lotus staff. I also chose to get gel polish on my toes which I knew would be extra but I didn't think it would be too much extra. Well when I went to check out the girl at the counter told me I owed $48. I said I only got the classic pedicure and she told me with gel that was the price. My friend and I couldn't believe it was that much extra for regular gel polish so my friend said "its $20 more for gel?" and the girl said yup and that was it. She was very rude and it wasn't an overall good experience. It would've been nice to have been told ahead of time that the gel would be that much extra or they could have had it posted. You are asked to wash hands upon entering, they take covid restrictions seriously, the foot soak bowl is lined with plastic for cleanliness, the staff who worked on us were proficient in their service and the color lasts for weeks! Not sure who did my nails but she did an amazing job fixing me up with a full set -- I told her I needed her to come to colorado so that she could be my normal technician! I have been to this nail salon on several occasions and the service is on a constant decline since they first opened. My daughters and I came and should have left when we weren't greeted upon arrival. The kids mani pedi was subpar and I didn't even get my manicure although I asked for 3 mani pedi's!
