I got my usual Fill and pedicure w/ gel polish. Very reasonably priced and of course Anna always Does an amazing job. Thao does my nails and she gets a 5 star rating for always doing a fantastic job. She is so kind and professional and an all around great person. The owner, Tina, is another story. She does not honor the $25 gift when you refer friends (I've referred 2 friends and she changes her story every time concerning the $25 gift for referring). I was also there Friday 9/26 and the air conditioning was not working and she did not send anyone over to fix it. It was so uncomfortably hot and the employees had to work in those conditions all day. She is not a good business owner as she can be very rude but I continue to go because of Thao and Anna is also a great nail tech who gets a 5 star rating. read more

Found my new go to spot! I haven't gotten a real pedicure since before COVID. How have I waited so long? Better question is WHY?!?!! I had a rather small window of time this evening to get one done before vacation next week. My old place is walk-ins only and you can get stuck waiting for a long time. So I started searching YELP (as always), and found this place. Not only do they take appointments, but BONUS - you can book online! And when you do, they email and text a confirmation. LOVE THAT! You do have to pay a small deposit when you book online, but who cares? I knew I would be there and it's probably some kind of security measure so some clown doesn't book up all their appointments and not show up. And, of course, they reduce your final bill by that amount. It's not a fee! Another thing I loved? There was NO TV! Just relaxing music and people communicating. Let's face it - when I am getting a pedi, I'm on me time. I don't need to watch some crazy TV show that someone else chose. This is not a sports bar people!! Here's another reason to love them - a loyalty membership program where you earn points for $$ off future services - and it's FREE! I've been a member of some of those before in other salons/spas, and it costs you money. Not here - FREE! Now down to the nitty gritty - the staff is WONDERFUL! So nice! They offer you water or a soda to drink. Every single one of them seemed happy you were there. Not like some places where they only talk to each other in another language (and then I get anxiety - are they talking about me? Are they paying attention to what they are doing?) I got a hot stone pedi, because hey, did you read above? I've neglected myself for too long. The massage was wonderful! In fact, the massage for a regular pedi is a good one, too. Oh and there are no "cheese graters" here - if you know, you know. In the wrong hands, those can be painful. I saw some amazing nail designs, too. I don't know how they've done it, but without the stupid TV, they have created a fun, relaxing atmosphere and almost a community. People were talking (or not, if they chose) and admiring all the pretty nail designs the techs were doing as clients left ("Oooo let me see it!" Was heard often). Get this straight - they take their time with you and do it right. This is so unlike the walk in only places that are just trying to get you in and out (after using the cheese grater) so they can take the next customer. Henry did my pedi and he not only gave me an amazing hot stone massage, but took his time on the polish. It looks flawless! So much better than when I do it (which ends up looking like a toddler did it - sigh). They are clean (watched them clean and sanitize the other pedi chairs after people left), all tools are cleaned - they open a brand new pack right out of the autoclave for each customer. I was blessed with a massage by Tina today. Her hands were so excellent. She did such a good job massaging me. I've never gotten my face massaged before. She paid attention to even my ears. She was so lovely and attentive to all of my problem areas. She was a 10/10. I'm giving it four stars not because of Tina but because of the environment. It is not a "spa" but a nail salon with a tiny massage room. But even that wasn't the problem. The massage room was next to the front, where people get their nails done. So, even with the lights off, the curtains didn't do an excellent job blocking the white lights from the front. You could hear conversations between the guests, and you could even hear the pizza shop employees next door talking and singing. The music was skipping a little, and it was an air freshener going off automatically every few minutes. It wasn't very relaxing with all of the environmental noise going on. I don't think this was a "spa" per se. But even with all of that, Tina did an excellent job, and I still really enjoyed the massage and relaxed eventually. I got the Herbal rejuvenation pedicure that is listed to be an hour long. It felt very rushed and was missing a bunch of the listed steps in the service. I didn't get any citrus slices/ sugar scrub and masks/ or the hot stones. It was also listed as $64 dollars but I was charged $80 not including tip. Then after I checked out I was informed that card has an additional charge. The vibe was eh the employees there would go to the back for 20 minutes at a time in the middle of a service and even left the girls foot bath next to me running so it over flowed and spilled all over the floor. read more

The services were not up to my expectations nor did they perform ethical practices when completing my purchase. I made an appointment the day before through their website for a gel mani and herbal rejuvenating pedi (the works). The website appointment system requires a deposit in advance, which I paid. And was required to pay the difference after services rendered. Gel manicure - normal, got what I wanted but it was lazy service. Meaning it's a typical, step-by-step procedure of giving a gel manicure without the care. You can tell the difference between nail techs that enjoy what they do or if it's meaningless. Pedicure - didn't receive every thing listed on the type of pedicure I purchased. And the nail tech was repeatedly digging on the side of my toenail, to clean the cuticle, which was sore a few days after. That wasn't an enjoyable experience. She didn't tell me when she was done. She just finished painting my nails and walked away. I stayed in the chair until my massage (chair massage) finished, got up and went to check out. The nail tech that did my pedicure told me if I was paying with card it would be a 3% charge!! I didn't have $73 cash to cover the difference so I used my card. She ended up charging me $113 - NOT THE CORRECT CALCULATION. The next day I realized the mistake that I was overcharged and called the salon. Spoke to the same nail tech and they said they'd get back to me about it later that day. Didn't call me back. So I called them AGAIN the next day and the same nail tech admitted to overcharging me and said she was going to refund me. She said once she gets to the salon she will see what the charge was and refund me. NEVER HAPPENED. So I decided to call my bank and file a dispute. Get my money back. This didn't have to happen but some companies, like this one, don't care about their patrons or the services they provide or ethical business practices. The first time I went my nails looked good and I liked them a lot, second time not so much. I feel like I was rushed and wasn't listened to so I ended up getting something I don't love. The texture looks bad... I wish they were as friendly with new clients as they were to people they clearly deal with regularly. The gentleman who did my pedicure did a good job except he acted like getting the dead skin off the big toe was something he wasn't used to doing but he did a great job. Overall an okay experience, probably won't come back. I always get gel builder (uv gel, poly gel) and it's hard to find places that offer this or can do this correctly. I recently moved and this place seemed like the best spot and I drove about 45 to come here. I made an appointment online for 6pm, I called at about 5:50 letting them know that I would be just a couple minutes behind, they told me no rush and they'd see me soon. I get to the salon and no one greets me for the first 5-10 minutes, I eventually find the sign in paper. One of the ladies calls out to me and says they'll be with me shortly and I start looking at colors. They ask me to have a seat while I wait. I wait until just before 7pm when I am seated for them to start my nails, I didn't catch her name but I think it's her salon, she was the one answering the phone. I felt slightly pressured to not do the gel builder since it does take more time, but this is what I have gotten for a long time now and works best for my nails. Then she tries to get me to keep the length and I told her I would really like them cut down. She did an amazing job with the application and did not hurt me with the drill. I will say that she used the same acetone solution that was in the jar from the previous client and that was unsanitary but I'm too shy to speak up. We get to the color portion and all was well until the design. She propped up my phone with the picture up and zoomed in on the two fingers with the floral designs. I never expect it to be the exact same and I did choose slightly different colors but she only did one tiny flower and then the stem. There were 2 other colors picked out for flowers and just put on the on the top coat before I could even ask. One of the main reasons why I chose this salon was because there are so many pictures of amazing nails and I was really hoping for something similar. I felt rushed as there were 2 clients still waiting to be helped after me and at this point it was 8:10 by the time I finished. There was also no cuticle oil after and the whole process felt rushed. It might be different than salons I'm used to in California but I don't think I will come back here. I paid $16.50 when I booked my appointment online, and another $53.50 after everything was done. read more

My daughter has gone here many times and has had a good experience. I was with her each time and the techs were very attentive and did great work. However she went today by herself and her gel set was horrible. The techs did not listen to her and still charged her full price for a set that they knew were not what she asked for and the workmanship was poor. She expressed concern throughout the process and was ignored. She is was very disappointed and no effort was made to rectify the issue. Cleanliness problem, very very dirty and owner very rude. Tina, who helped me twice, was great and she deserves to work in a better place. The owner spoke to me rudely, says I used another product which I did not Luckily Tina was sitting beside owner and was able to help. Really nice place; I got one of their top tier pedicures and I wasn't disappointed. Best foot massage EVERRRR and their chairs are even better. They offer you drinks and are very accommodating. The only complaint I have is, when I called and asked for their prices, I was given one price, but when paying it was 15 dollars more. When I asked, it was stated that it was a separate charge for their gel polish. She had a HORRIFYING experience (rushed appt, extremely painful, no explanation of what was coming next), and when I called the salon, they did nothing but argue with me. Booked a 50 min sensitive skin facial and 30 min scalp massage and my sister was left with a rats nest in her hair after only a TEN min scalp massage, and bruised from the harshness of the esthetician. In an ongoing effort to find an affordable, drama-free nail salon; I decided to give Lotus Day Spa a try. Located along Little Creek Road, next door to Little Ceaser's Pizza. There is limited parking in front of the building but along the side there is more parking available. The reason this isn't a five star review is due to limited nail color options and the pushy receptionist who insists she needs your phone number when you check in. When checking in, you fill out an index card sized form with your name, telephone number and itemization of the services you are requesting. In addition, if you are having a gel manicure there is a $5 charge to remove existing gel color if they did not apply it. There is also an inconsistency in offering of refreshments to customers. My first visit went better than I anticipated. Vicky performed my gel manicure and did a very good job. On my second visit, I went with a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I did not have an appointment but was seen quickly and I even had a technician working on my nails as another began my pedicure. I was in and out within an hour and was very pleased with the services and kindness of the technicians. This location also offer massage services performed by a male or female. Eye brow waxing is also available. The salon is clean, average noise level and capable of accepting contactless pay. read more

I have been coming to this little place for over a year and getting terrific massages from Stephen. Yes, it's small, it's not fancy, although the owners have made it more appealing by installing a comfortable couch near the entrance. I've always been greeted with a smile and love the atmosphere. Stephen is a great massage therapist and is knowledgeable about anatomy and makes sure he asks questions about areas that near work prior to starting the massage. 0 Stars - Spend your money elsewhere My wife was gifted a scalp massage and facial for her 30th birthday, it was the most horrible experience and we will never be back. The appointment was pushed back, and then we were called an hour before the appointment to see if we could be there in 15 minutes. Unprofessional, but okay. We arrive 10 minutes early, at 3:30, the treatments don't start until 3:45, again not a huge deal. The problem is what was supposed to be 90 minutes of total time for treatment was turned into 70 minutes because they closed at 5:00 and my wife was rushed out the door at 4:55. When we tried to get a partial refund due to services not rendered they argued and basically denied any wrong-doing and denied the refund. On top of the fact we were not given the full amount of time that was paid for, the services my wife received were absolutely HORRIBLE. The technician did not communicate with my wife what was going to happen, did not take enough care to accommodate my wife's sensitive skin, and practically tore her scalp off during the scalp massage literally digging in with her nails. They put a plastic bag/sheet over her face and left the room, without bothering to check that she could breathe properly. Poked her face repeatedly, leaving her red and in pain. In short, the customer service was non-existent, the treatments were rushed, my wife was wincing in pain and pulling away from the technician to no avail, and my wife left the salon more stressed and in more pain than when she got there. This business advertises as a full service spa but in reality they are a nail salon with a closet in the back for facials/massages. If you want a real Spa experience, do not go here. read more

I have been going here for over a year now. I finally decided to splurge and get a lash lift because they said I have long lashes and it would look great on me. Well I got one today and I am sooooo disappointed. The woman doing it was very nice but the work? Not so good. I mentioned it to the front desk and she said to call tomorrow if I wanted a refund, so we will see. Adding a photo because this "lash lift" is insulting. To top it off the gel color I picked must have had the wrong nail attachment to it because I got GOLD polish and the one I picked out was a dark grey/ silver. At least that's what the display showed. Just shows that they are not as organized as they used to be and the quality of work is slowly going down. I've been looking for a new nail salon since moving to the area in August. I almost gave up hope actually, had my acrylic nails removed and accepted my fate of having ugly hands. Then I came here. I easily made an appointment over the phone, the day came and they called me to offer me the option to come in earlier if I wanted. I liked that and accepted as it was more convenient to me. Trina was my technician, she was kind and thoughtful. She offered me a water, helped me pick my color which was a glittery Christmas red and asked me exactly what I wanted. Then a true Christmas miracle happened and she delivered just that. I don't like long nails, I just wanted an overlay of acrylic on my natural nail. This is something so many places have made difficult for me trying to push other services or a longer length. Not Trina, she told me my short nails were cute and gave my ugly hands a total makeover. I booked a two week follow up with her at the end of my service (which was very reasonably priced) to come back for a New Years look. I love Lotus Day Spa! Every time I go, I always leave really happy with my nail service. The person who works the front desk is super polite and friendly, which always makes it a breeze to schedule an appointment. I use Ti for my manicures and pedicures because he always does a great job. His prices are a little higher than some of the other nail techs, and he requires a $20 deposit that goes towards your service when you book with him, but it's well worth it. I've used some of the other nail techs at the shop as well, but my favorite is definitely Ti. His work is always clean and neat, and I love it! I'm in the Navy, so my nails have to be a complimentary color, but I still feel super cute whenever I leave. I definitely recommend booking Lotus for your next mani/pedi! read more

Save your gas and go somewhere else. I passed two other nail places to get here cause it looked so nice online. Well guess what, that's not what it actually looks like (see pics). The pricing here is RIDICULOUS for what they offer and the environment they offer it in. I'm not sure if half the nail techs here are even licensed; the way they paint nails is embarrassing (grossly overpainting the nail and cleaning it up with acetone). I booked a pink and white fill and wanted ombré, and the tech said, "I can attempt it. I did my first ombré yesterday and it was ok." Seriously?! For $45+? I ended the service with my pedicure and walked into another salon on my way home to get my nails done. As a former salon manager, I would not recommend this establishment. read more
