This place was recommended to me. Owners nice and welcoming. But... it was so rushed. Nothing special in the water, quick leg massage and scrubbed my feet. In and out in 20 minutes. Disappointing. One coat of polish and barely a top coat. I just hope things turn around for this business. read more

*** 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND*** they were very nice when i first walked in. asked for a pedicure and to also just get two tone gel nails and they seemed absolutely fine with that. i finished my pedicure and they sat me down to do my nails and this lady was a grade a b**ch right out the gate. i showed her a reference photo(as seen below) and she just couldn't comprehend what i was asking for even though i already picked my colors and showed her THE EXACT PICTURE! she then proceeds to start raising her voice at me cause she wasn't understanding what i was politely asking. finally we get it figured out and she starts on the nails and when i tell you she was being so rough and just slapping the polish on i mean it. she was painting my literal skin like crappy mannered 5 year old. i also want to mention that the whole time she was speaking in another language in a hateful tone as if she was either talking crap about me out loud or if it was her way of "saying it to me" without actually being an adult and having a conversation with me. i never should have paid her the amount she was asking when i was through but im not that type of person. all in all i just don't understand why EVERY nail salon ive gone to either acts this way or does just a very poor job just to get you in and out im so sick of it!! read more

Ok. So I had been coming here for the last couple of months. Because it was easier proximity to my house wise. Each time paying $45 or so for an ombré overlay (not even tips, just my natural nails). Each time was a quick file, overlay and pay. Never taking it down. Just a fill. Well today I went to my regular nail salon in Virginia Beach. As they started removing the acrylic we noticed some major issues. Three of my nails were GREEN!! A fungus was growing under the acrylic. I had only had the overlay filled 3 times here. One finger was so bad that you can see the shadow of the fungus under my nail color. I was told NOT to wear any light colors because of how it was. And that it could take MONTHS to heal. I've never had any issues with my nails or nail beds before this. I've attached a picture of what it looked like. Unfortunately I was unable to get a good picture if my nails before they tried to fix them. Definitely NOT coming back here! If I could give a lower score I would. If I had known they were damaging my nails I would never have returned after the first time. Be careful y'all. read more

I was running short on time so I decided to get a pedicure here instead of my normal place so I called to make an appointment. The ladies were so nice, however, I developed a fungus that caused my toenail to literally fall off 3 weeks later. I hadn't done anything to cause this. So this is my first time at this nail salon and I was a little worried at first. I'm very picky about where I get my nails done and who does them. All my worries have been put to rest! First let me start at the beginning. When you walk in the environment is very inviting. The place is clean and organized. You feel like you are walking into a small spa. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. They weren't busy, so I was sat right away. I came in at first wanting stiletto nails, but after speaking with the technician, we decided it wasn't healthy for my nails. I was extremely grateful for this! Some places would have just done it and not cared. I watched as another customer finished up her pedicure and right after the technician was cleaning and sanitizing the bowl thoroughly. High five!!! Every question I asked, they were more than happy to explain to me. They were diligent, professional and friendly. My nails look amazing and they are not over priced. I don't highly recommend this establishment. I called ahead of time to ask if it is in my best interest to make an appointment and the lady who answered said no, no, come on in we're not busy. Wrong. I ended up waiting a good 40 minutes while they put others ahead. To be fair they may have had appointments but I don't know for sure. I felt rushed when I did an acrylic removal and shellac mani. The water was cold and they used some cheap soap. The lady who did my work was on her phone and harshly criticizing my previous nail work. I didn't come in to get judged. I came in here because word of mouth said your business was good. If you decide to go make sure you have cash tip as they don't allow tipping on cards. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't go here. I came here because it was a convenient location to where I live and unfortunately I had a very bad experience. She was rushing the whole time and cut 3 of my fingers pretty bad and then did French tip acrylics and not even 3 days later one fell off without hurting at all and just the whole nail not pieces. All of the nails looked like they were glue on and not professionally done. If I wanted that I would have went to Walmart and glued them on myself. read more

When I tell you I'm heated, I mean what I say. This place is right down the street and I saw allll the terrible reviews and STILL went against my gut as a bridesmaid in a wedding needing them done, so I gave this place a go. As I said when I left the establishment, never again!!! I'm not sure what the issue is around here but it's like they can smell new blood and over charge me on the most ridiculous things. RIGHT on the sign with pricing it says $30 for acrylics with gel. I got charged $50. She said $15 extra for gel polish. Wtf? The whole bottle is what I paid for. They looked like garbage just days later. I don't do manual labor for a living so makes no sense. Not to mention broad talked about me the whole time in her lil language but never once TO me...extremely disappointed, but then again, I should have listened to YELP!!! Well let's see.. no matter at what time go show up you have to wait for at least an hour just to sit on a chair then the nail tech can careless what you would like done I asked for coffin not too thick on the acrylic and she didn't want/understand what I was asking for and from the start she had an attitude she purposely did a sloppy job some are thicker didn't even check back to see if all lenght were even smh and the kicker after she left me unattended in the middle of my full set she walked away to do some other lady's wax brows for 10 min didn't even care to let me know.. so fast forward all of this and I get charged $45.00 for a full set gel ... WOW!!! I asked why it was soo much if the wall of prices said full set & gel $30.00 ... she went on to say because she took extra time with me and that they were long so there's an up charge on the left of the nail..??!?? Like what..? Come again?? Really well guess what I still payed just to have my nail brake the next day opening a letter .... what a rip off Never would I ever walk in there again!! I always get my pedicure here and they are the best for ingrown nails or any issues you may have with your feet. They take their time so make sure you account for it. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because the woman who did my nails was very nice. I called ahead to set an appointment for 12:30. I got to the salon around 12:25 and I had to wait which was expected because I was a little early, so no harm no foul. I was not seen until 1:00 and it took her 15 minutes to do my fill in. Now, maybe I'm spoiled by the nail salons in NY, but usually after getting my nails done, they massage your hands for free but nope--she put some oil on my cuticles and said I was done. Place is great if you get Christina or Cindy. I went back after Halloween and got a Shellac manicure, the very next day one nail started peeling and I went there to get it fixed. The lady who did mine said she'd fix it. While sitting there, upon further inspection I saw a few of my other nails were peeling that were manicured. I showed the nail technician my other ones that were peeling and she told me that she warned me to be gentle after my nail manicure and she was only going to fix that one. Did she think I scrubbed the kitchen floor after getting a manicure? Duh! I'm sorry, I paid 35 dollars for you to tell me that you'd only fix one of my nails? I went to LA Nails for the first time this Saturday for a mani/pedi, which were fine. I also asked for a brow and upper lip wax. The woman who did my wax applied it three times to one area and either burned me or removed the upper layer of skin. It is still red and peeling five days later. I will never go back. read more
