I had my cleaning with Hygienist Elena. She is more thorough & gentle than any other Hygienist I've ever seen. Although she's been a Hygienist for years, I can tell she is continuing to master her craft and taking more classes. Like checking PH levels, blood pressure, talking to me about my D3 & K3 vitamins & to see if I'm taking the correct amount to cancel out tarter, the list goes on. Love the education she gives me. They explained to me why I needed to keep one of my molars instead of having it pulled... which, since I have medi cal they would rather just pull my molars out because it's less money to do. I have ALWAYS been TERRIFIED of going to the dentist but after my first visit with Dr. Nguyen and her wonderful staff I'm not scared anymore. Here are the reasons for my 5 star rating: 1. They are friendly and caring. 2. No wait (I'm almost reluctant to share how wonderful they are because I have never been to a dentist with no waiting)! 3. I normally feel panic stricken when I walk into a dental office. I didn't once get nervous. Their office is so peaceful. 4. The dental technician and hygienist (I'm so sorry I forgot their names. I'm sure I'll remember them because I will NEVER go to another office) were both so gentle. I'm normally in pain during x-rays because of that thing you bite down on but she somehow made it comfortable. My gums didn't hurt after the cleaning but my mouth is cleaner then it ever has been. 5. They listened to my concerns and genuinely cared about me as a patient. 6. Dr Nguyen explained all of my options and asked if I felt overwhelmed (being terrified of the dentist I haven't kept my mouth in the best shape) by all the information she gave me regarding my dental care plan. I was told a bunch of lies by my last dentist about the number of cavities I had, why a tooth was sensitive, and they made my cavity way worse after a cleaning. I was recommend to her office by my mother. The service and maintenance is beyond exceptional. Dr. Tran and her staff are very friendly and will answer any question given. I felt very welcome inside he office. The office interior almost made it feel like you were at home. There was also filtered water in the front for leisure usage. This dentist said my young daughter had 12 cavities! I was shocked that she would want to drill so many holes in a child's teeth. I took her elsewhere for a second opinion, with the xrays and that dentist saw no cavities and recommended no fillings! Draw your own conclusions. I'VE GOT NO MORE DENTAL PHOBIA ! ! ! I shared with the Dr. Rose that I have had negative experiences all my life and was a HUGE dental phob! She and the staff were reassuring and VERY accommodating. Dr, Rose provided all I needed to be calm & relaxed during the extensive dental work I needed. She often stop's and ask's "Are you doing OK Honey?" Dr. Rose and her assistants pay attention to our body language during treatments and administer's more Novocaine or gas as needed. I've always stayed calm and relaxed! Toward the end of the my treatments I didn't need anything anymore! NO MORE DENTAL PHOBIA!! Dr. Rose and the staff are always so gentle, caring and took all the time I needed to comfortably complete all procedures. I get my teeth cleaned regularly now (a 1st in 60 yrs) and have gone back for check up's. I look forward to seeing Dr. Rose and the staff, I now call friends! They also worked with me on the cost's of the extensive dental work I needed. Lotus Dental Practice was $3000. less than other dental offices!! Highly recommended! read more

Well first and far most the customer service is excellent, everybody there is so nice and sweet. I took my kids here for a cleaning and was so impressed with the staff that I decided to make an appointment for myself too. Now this is where I felt they deserved more than 5 stars, since I have no sitter for my 3 yr old I took him along with me hoping he would sit quietly during my treatment (he's usually pretty good). Not only were they understanding of my situation but the staff actually took turns keeping him busy with toys, drawing, and coloring pages they printed out for him! I mean who does that anymore? That's beyond good customer service in my book. Now as far as my treatment, I'd visited dentists in the past where we use to live about a bad root canal I had done years back. One dentist wanted to charge me $3,500 for a bridge which was not only ridiculous but I'm in my late 20's not 60's, I was not getting a bridge. I then had a second look from a different dentist who wanted to charge me $1,400 for an implant. I had just about given up until Dr. Nguyen gave me the best news ever, not only could she fix it but also for a small fraction of the price the other guys were trying to charge me! I'm still a big baby when it comes to the dentist and get chills at the sound of a dental drill but the staff here definitely make the experience a lot more pleasant. read more
