This is my favorite dentist and dental Office in Ventura! I have lived in this area for over 15 years. My first dentist retired several years ago and I didn't have a plan. After looking them up on Yelp, I decided to try them. I have been working with Dr Hahn and her team, including Callie and other hygeinists for their service. The office is super clean, pleasant and all the staff, including the front desk staff are super nice, friendly, respectful and kind. Dr Hahn and the team provide exceptional care and are super gentle, thoughtful during all the procedures, cleaning, x-rays and exams. I also am paying a one time yearly fee for the services provided which I believe is very reasonable since my insurance did not cover this office and other PPO Dentists. I believe that it is an exceptional value and highly recommend this team any dental needs. read more

I love it here and will be going back as long as I live in California! Dr. Boldbaatar is amazing. I had previously tried a different dentist in Ventura for my mom, but the experience was terrible--the staff wasn't personable, and the dentist was worse. I had three fillings done there and was in pain for two weeks straight; the experience left me feeling so stressed and violated that I was stuck in bed for a week. I decided to return to Insight Dentistry, this time, to the office in Downtown (I've been to their other Ventura location before), and I'm so glad I did. The dental assistant, Jenny, who did my X-Rays was so gentle and caring. Dr. Boldbaatar immediately identified the problem and fixed it. She re-did the fillings, and it was completely painless. I've had various and problematic dental issues recently and have had to visit multiple dentists and oral surgeons. Thankfully, I found Insight. The level of care and customer service begins with the AMAZING receptionist, Stephanie - who is one of those wonderful people that takes pride in her work and is great at her job. She is so friendly and knowledgeable, which describes ALL the staff that works here. Dr. Han is an awesome dentist. She is patient, explains everything and takes her time when treating patients. I have been to dentists who pile up there appointments and have multiple patients waiting in the rooms, and just try to bounce from room to room as quick as they can. Dr. Han does NOT do this. Dr. Crystal Boldbaatar is the best dentist I've had! My treatment plan was quite long, but she did an excellent job. The entire team is very nice and friendly (office managers, dental assistants and hygienists). Both Telegraph Rd and Downtown locations are very clean and modern. Amazing Dr and office staff. My dentist recently retired and I have not yet found a new provider. Last week, one of my veneers broke late on a Thursday night. On Friday morning, I began calling around looking for a dentist who could see me that day and fix my tooth. This office was able to squeeze me that day. When I arrived at the office we realized they do not accept my insurance and a new veneer would cost me $1400 out of pocket. Dr Han very patiently examined me and told me she could bond my tooth (a temporary fix) for $89.00 until I could find a new dentist. She took so much time with me, ensuring the color matched my other teeth, shaping it and reshaping it. She is a true professional but also warm and caring. The office staff is welcoming and the office is clean and bright. My only regret is that they don't accept my insurance because if they did, this would absolutely be my new dentist. read more

Today, I went to Insight Dentistry for the first time. There is a reason they have almost all 5 star ratings. First of all, making an appointment was a breeze. I just went online and filled out a few questions and chose an appointment date and time. I did not have to wait months or even weeks. I was able to make an appointment within the week. So convenient for a busy, working professional with a little one. Second, the office is clean, bright and modern (there is a tv on the ceiling and the chair gives you a light back massage). The staff is welcoming, accommodating and kind. They were on time and I did not have to wait or fill out copious forms. Next, Dr. Han was knowledgeable, thorough and present. She was engaged and answered all my questions. After her exam, I immediately had my teeth cleaned by Megan. Again, I did not have to wait or come back (my experience with other offices has been wait times or even separate cleaning appointments on another day which is a huge hassle). The cleaning was right after and Megan was so kind, her work was gentle and efficient. Check out was also a breeze and I wasn't upsold or charged a thing. I am very happy to have found Insight Dentistry. I will be moving my entire family over to this office. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Krishnan! I went to him originally for a second opinion after having a negative experience with a dentist I felt didn't have my best interest in mind with the treatment plan they were proposing. Dr. Krishnan carefully reviewed my files and proposed treatment plan from the other dentist. He then sat down with me with his proposed treatment plan, and explained everything to me very clearly and in a way I could actually understand (he didn't just rattle off dental terminology and pretend I knew what he was talking about). The treatment plan Dr. Krishnan recommended to me was much more aligned to my expectations in both the approach he suggested we take and cost. I needed quite a bit of dental work done but Dr. Krishnan's treatment plan took the least invasive approach while saving all my teeth and getting me back on track for a healthy future. His office staff is lovely as well and very knowledgable when it comes to billing and insurance. They even caught the fact that I hadn't met my annual maximum yet and squeezed me in before the end of the year to get some of my treatment done to use my full benefits. His dental assistant is great and is always checking in with me to make sure I'm comfortable during treatment. I was nervous to go to the dentist since it had been a few years since I last went but Dr. Krishnan made me feel comfortable and didn't judge me at all. She caught something on an x ray and referred me to a great Endodontics practice to take a closer look. Last fall, I was concerned about how my teeth were shifting forward, which caused my top front teeth to rub on the bottom teeth. I asked Dr. Krishnan about Invisalign to correct the problem and improve my smile. I told him I didn't need perfection - just better. He recommended a partial time period (which was about half of the standard treatment). That sounded fine to me. The procedure was fairly simple, but the commitment was initially rather daunting. Eventually, I was mostly used to it as I watched my teeth align more with each set. To avoid feeling overwhelmed, I viewed the process one week at a time. Today, after seven months, I walked out of the Insight Dentistry office with a beautiful new smile and no more crowding or rubbing! I went to insight Dentistry for an evaluation of a procedure proposed by another dentist. I wanted to make absolutely sure I should proceed with the work being done by this other dentist.. so I sought an independent opinion. I was very impressed with Dr Han. She was incredibly thorough and gave me her honest appraisal. Interestingly enough her equipment found deterioration and two cavities right next to the area where I was currently having some current work done. It was shocking to me that my present dentist either had not seen or ignored this major potential big problem in two teeth right in front of an area where current work was being done.. although insight Dentistry is quite a bit more expensive than my current dental plan, once this plan lapses I have to seriously consider how much my real teeth and lack of pain and problems are worth. I have never been afraid of going to the dentist, but now I actually find myself looking forward to going to the dentist! I know, I sound crazy. I had a lovely experience with Alexis who did a great job with my deep cleaning, We are basically neighbors and had great conversations, which isn't easy when your mouth is wide open and being worked on LOL. When I got a couple fillings replaced and a couple new ones, Dr Krishnan was so gentle I barely felt a thing! I am so happy to have found a dentist that is not only gifted and amazing at what he does, but who also cares about how my teeth look. I am excited to go on this journey of helping my teeth to be the best they can be and I owe that to Dr Krishnan and his staff. On a side note... I happened to lose a pearl earring recently and thought it was gone forever. I was shocked when it was returned to me by one of the dental assistants! I just assumed I'd lost it while walking my dog. If I can give them less than that I would do it! As a healthcare provider, I scheduled an appointment after a long time of arranging with colleagues to find some time for a visit with this clinic. I found out I need a new crown and i was provided with an estimate of my share of payment. The Dr, told me it takes 2-3 weeks to get the approval! And also to rest assured that the numbers I was provided as the worst estimate and that from his "experience" they can't deny that claim! I came later on for a follow up to work on some cavities (10 days later) and asked about the claim which apparently wasn't sent yet! So they send it on that day! The doctor asked me to have an appointment scheduled to go ahead and do the crown! Again, long time to arrange for it but was able yo make it finally! I called a week later to ask about the status of my claim and the secretary responds, it's pending still! On the day of the treatment, the techs and secretary provides me with a bill that is literally double the amount I was given! And I asked to see the doctor! He came and said " well I blocked 2 hours for you! And this is what your insurance might cover!" Without any apology he proceed to say! I won't charge you if you don't want to do it today! I canceled all my appointments and my wife's and left! Be careful this office is a scam and a failure! I called my insurance and asked them and they said they are covering twice as much as the doctor say! Run away don't go there! read more

Dr. Krishnan was very thorough in examining my records, assessing priorities and creating a treatment plan to take care of both prior and new issues. He explained everything that was involved and was able to work me into his schedule to address the most urgent issues. He checked to make sure that I was not uncomfortable and updated me with the process throughout the treatment. He coordinated my initial and follow up visits and made sure that the final crowns would be available to be placed before I left town. A follow up to ongoing treatment..... Amazing is all I can say. Several of my teeth were chipped and others had cracks. Dr.Kryshnan has reformed, strengthened and built up these teeth, then installed crowns. The procedures were all carried out with no pain and very minimal discomfort. They look better than ever. He even replaced a porcelain filling on a front tooth and I can't tell which tooth because it matches perfectly. I truly feel that I'm in good hands. I have yet to find a better Dental team in Ventura California. And I have tried a few. I chipped my tooth last night. I called early this morning and they fit me in to give me a temporary crown all completed by lunch time. My New crown is on the way and I will have it next week.
