Each time I told him that yes I had seen the endodontist who said I did not need a root canal. The third time. I told him I let him know it was the third time he asked me . He shot back with "I can't remember everything about all my patients". Not exactly what a patient really wants to hear. Maybe he should look at patients charts before he sees them. Then he criticized my crowns and said he couldn't believe that they all weren't the same exact color. I tried to explain they were done over the years and then he sent one of his assistance to go get pictures of her boyfriend's crowns he did. . In my opinion, they were so white they were offputting and looked fake. I'm a senior so that really wouldn't work at my age. It would really look fake for me. my first year with this Dentist he did a deep cleaning but It did not feel like a deep cleaning and not because he gave me numbing shots and I did not see any change in my gums.,and then a couple of periodontal cleanings I think his hygienist did one of those. I have since found a new Dentist, and his periodontal cleanings are far superior to this dentists. I could see a change in my gums the next day, following the treatment and by the time I had my second one with the new Dentist. my gums weren't red or inflamed anywhere in my mouth. The Auburn Hair office manager, I believe her name is Betsy was so nice on my first appt.. The first time I was there she came back to mybdentist chair to explain what all would be covered by my dental insurance. But at another visit when I needed a referral for a procedure she grabbed a form and staple something to it, and literally slammed it down on the countertop and said emphatically with emphasis on the word"I" would have to take care of it. That turned out to not be true. She was wrong, but what I couldn't understand was the extreme rudeness, the manner in which she spoke to me, and to literally slam something down on the countertop was shocking. She may still be there, but there's something off balance wrong with this woman . This Dentist , after my first year there, stopped taking my insurance. It was a blessing in disguise because I now have a much better Dentist that I'm very happy with him and his staff and he Is closer to where I live.

I still visit the dentist every 6 months even though I have/had this issue. First of all Stacey is calm. If I start to get gaggy, she has me do yoga nose. It is a breathing technique that calms me down. The way that she uses that scraping utensil and the water tool are truly minimally invasive. Prior to Stacey, when the scraping part is occurring it just sounds so loud. The sound is my equivalent to nails on a chalkboard for me. It was a purely god awful sound. Stacy's technique does not come with these awful sound effects. She is calm. She makes me feel calm. She has a TV in the room that is on. It doesn't have sound, it is a way to distract one's self. I don't even need to look at it anymore. When there are chances to chat, we chat about travel. We love hearing about each other's adventures. You are probably thinking, this place cannot get any better.. Well it does. I love the office staff. As I was leaving yesterday, I shared some really great personal news. They all listened intently and cared about me. They clapped, and said they were so happy for me. I had a happy cry. I also love Dr. Liang. He also loves travelling. First, the receptionist always greets me warmly when I walk in. They let you know how much you'll end up paying--if anything--upfront, and you electronically sign forms consenting to payment, cleaning, etc. Because I crave staining food and drinks, I try to stay on top of brushing, flossing, and my dental checkups. When I first started going here, the dentist informed me I had the beginning of periodontal disease. So I tried to step up my oral hygiene game (do you know how long 2 minutes is? Whether it's brushing your teeth or running on a treadmill, it's forever). Anyway, this place is fantastic because they had me coming in every 3 months for a cleaning to slow down my periodontal disease. Then they informed me I now only need to come in every six months since this past year. That saved me money and made me trust this place even more. They have also repaired a chip on my tooth, and everyone from the receptionist to the dental hygienists and dentist is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The only downside is that I need an itemized receipt for my health spending account. While I understand they can't provide it immediately, they informed me they would email me a copy the following day or the beginning of the following week. This rarely happens, and I have to call them to email me the itemized receipt. Although I understand their busy schedules, three calls on the same day were necessary before they finally emailed the promised itemized receipt from the day before. I plan to keep this original, pearly white set of chompers with the current owner as long as possible. Thank you, Main Street Dental, for making that a reality - so far.
