Best Dip Manicure! I had been going to another local place and had no complaints. My mom and I decided on a whim to pop into Jades Nails after having lunch at Garcia's. Best decision! Tim took care of me and Lee took care of Mom. Both were super nice and very professional. Mom had a Shellac manicure and prefers to have her cuticles pushed back instead of cut/trimmed and Lee was more than happy to oblige. Tim did the best dip manicure! My nails have always been a bit weak, so I like how the dip manicure keeps them from breaking, but it always looks a bit thicker than a regular or gel manicure. Not this time! I like my nails shorter due to my job, and I am so happy with they way they came out. Mom has always had strong beautiful nails (insert sarcastic daughter eye-roll) and Lee gave her a beautiful gel/Shellac manicure. The final bill was a bit lower that what I normally pay because they offer a 5% Military Family Discount. Mom and I both agree, Jades Nails is now our new regular nail salon. This place is WORTHLESS. I came in to get my eyebrows done and left with basically 1 eyebrow. I had to explain you don't get a second chance when you wax since he decided to argue with me and tell me "they are not thin". I specifically told her "I want to keep them long, and do not make them thin, they just need to be cleaned up". This is not clean they are now so thin I will have to put makeup on them, AND NOT BY CHOICE!!!!! My roommate told me this was a good place to get services done, I can not say the same. I had beautiful thick eyebrows when I walked in. This is robbery! I seriously can't believe the guy at the front counter tried arguing with me that "she just cleaned them, and that they are not thin". So now he is a liar, and blind! So then he tries telling me "my eyebrows are bad because I didn't tip" you pay after the service, and since I'm missing an eyebrow I most definitely did not tip. My sister and I have been here more than a few times and they are always very accommodating and do great work. They offer you a beverage and you pick from a menu of services. We both opted for a spa pedicure. The chairs are very comfy and have massage options as well. Speaking of, the massage part of the pedicure package was heavenly. UPDATE: The manager called and asked me to come in to make it better. When I got there I realized that she was the person who did my nails the 1st time! I let her know that I couldn't have acetone on my nails again because they were already too thin. She said she'd give me 1/2 my money back and then a gift card for next time. Why would I want to come back after 2 bad experiences. I had paid $100 altogether. She refused to refund me and only gave me $30 back. Still not happy and never returning. read more

This is always my go to for nails and pedicures. Emily and Shawn are great at nails and designs. They have a lot of good people that due pedicures. I recently got my eyebrows powdered by Katie and she did a great job. She is very precise and took her time to get everything perfect. They have a promotion for the first 100 customers that get their eye brows powdered by Katie. This procedure is usually around 600$ so this is a definitely a great deal. I have had a good experience in the past but with my last two services I've decided this is not my go to nail salon anymore unfortunately. I came in on March 7th 2024 to get my nails redone (gel manicure) for my birthday on the 12th - initially she wanted me to do dip powder but with my experience I don't like it and the shine doesn't last as long as gel polish. I told her no thanks and continued with my appointment. The nail tech working on my manicure drilled my polish off rather than soaking and I don't have acrylics just my natural nail so preferably would like a soak so my nails done get thin and burn with the lamp. Nevertheless I let her continue. When it came to the manicure it was good , cuticles got cut and so on , but she drilled my nail tips down instead of cutting with nail clippers (odd), again these are my natural nails , no extensions. The polish came out very uneven , think on some sides and not others - the silver glitter I picked was very full coverage on the sample nail but when it came to application it's very uneven and some spots are even missing glitter. I let it go since I had just got off work and figured I'll deal with it. Well today I noticed I have small air pockets in the gel on a couple nails , the polish is very bumpy and I really just wanted to have it corrected before my birthday. I went in this morning to ask about fixing the polish and even said I would pay. When it came down to the tech come to fix my nails she proceeded to tell me she will "buff off the top coat but if I would've done dip it wouldn't be this way" ? I explained to her that you visibly could see the bumps and uneven layers of polish and polish on my skin around my nails and she essentially kept hushing me and saying "ok ok but it's not a problem how it is " "it's the glitter not bumps in polish" and so on - she seemed very flustered with me and I didn't like the environment so I opted to just leave - I didn't want to go through drilling my nails beds again and possibly resulting in a sloppy finish again since she already didn't want to do it. When I told her I would just leave and deal with it she said "ok can go , it's fine ..." and I just walked out. Needless to say , I will not be going back and finding a new salon. It's unfortunate as they already don't seem to get enough business and maybe now I can see why. read more

I also got my eyebrows waxed, and the lady asked me zero questions and just sat me down said "close your eyes" and started trimming and waxing my eyebrows. They came out much more thin than I wanted, uneven, and took the tail off of one. The customer service was mediocre but she was speaking in Vietnamese with her coworker targeted to me to the point she felt the need to clear it up with my Mom she was "talking about the eyebrow chair" (that I was in). If I would've had a proper menu displaying the pricing before walking in, told to sign in, then seated to start my pedicure before any pricing was disclosed I would've never came. Unfortunately I had a really bad experience yesterday and won't be returning. It started as I walked in - gave the lady who escorted me to my chair my color - not sure what she did with it as everyone treated me like I was crazy when I continued to tell them I had given it to them. The man who did my pedicure cut 3 of my toes to the point of blood then proceeded to scrub the heck out of the open cuts with a nail brush. I had asked for a combo with manicure but when he took me to sit under the lights I said forget it I need to get out of here. Took my daughter to get nails done for a dance and decided I would get. pedicure while I waited. walked-in, no wait. We were greeted and signed in. My daughter had 3 different people doing her nails...not at once, they just kept switching manicurists. Not sure why. After I was seated, I was offered a drink. Then a man came over and started to "shave" my feet. That's not normally the first step, especially since my feet haven't had time to soak. He cut my heels and I asked him to stop but he didn't understand me. Then he got up and left. I sat there for over 10- minutes waiting for someone to return or say something. Finally, another man came back and started the process from the beginning. I had to tell him not to shave my feet since the other guys already did it and cut me...but he didn't understand me either. I finally handed him the polish and pointed just so they could finish up. My daughters nails took over 2-hours. Her nails turned out ok, not the best and not what she wanted but they looked nice. However they are slow and don't communicate very well. There are a few ladies that do speak English but they should help others communicate. My feet are cut on both heels and the polish is already chipping feet a couple days. I would not return here....still searching for a nail shop home. read more

Well...It's my first time here and I loved my experience. First they are taking great measures to protect their customers from COVID-19. As soon as you walk in you are required to have an appointment and wash your hands. They don't let to many people in at one time. Expect to wait because of this. They are working extremely fast and hard. They also offer drinks. So take a look at the drink menu if you come in. It's a bit pricey but I'm not complaining. Quality is amazing. Do not recommend! I called in advance to look at how much an acrylic set would cost. $60 plus designs would make it $65 at most is what they said I got there with my mom and she got a pedicure. Highly disappointed they could not give her the color that she wanted. They could not match my color either it took 2 hours and 45 minutes unbelievable. It was $120 by the time we left. The pedicure was $35 and they messed up 4 times. My nails were $85 and looked nothing like the photo. The only thing they offered after we complained 2 times was to fix it. First they rush you to the pedicure chairs not really allowing you to take your time to look at colors even though they don't start on you right away. They don't bring you your drink when you ask you'll start later than someone who arrived after you and finish before them on a pedicure. Before doing your nails they won't ask you if you want it cut or how you want them shaped until they get started. Overall it was a pretty terrible experience I regret coming here. I can't speak for the mail services, but I went In because I was looking for eyebrow waxing. The lady who helped me treated me like an inconvenience. She was in a hurry & did a terrible job. I came home having to tweeze all the hair she missed, plus clean off my eyebrows because I was covered in wax!! Two weeks ago I was embarrassingly overdue for fills. To the point that I was down to 7 nails total and it was clear a full set was in order. Tragic! I had an errand to run in Schertz and when I was done I decided I'd better get into a salon for some much needed attention. Just as the thought popped into my head and I looked up, there was Jade Nails. I decided to take a chance and I walked in. They where not very staffed. Maybe 3 or 4 total employees and they where all busy working on clients. I decided to wait. I believe it may have been the owner that cheerfully greeted me when I entered. As I waited, many customers entered and most seemed to be return clients. I did have to wait quite some time. Perhaps 30 min., but hey - it had been a month since my last fills... What's a few more minutes, right? The lady I presume was the owner did my nails. We chatted the entire time and she was very skilled and very personable. Mind you, rudeness is why I left my last salon. When I'm paying for a service, courtesy is just as important as quality. Both quality and polite conversation where present. She told me she had been doing nails for almost 25 years. I'm more than likely headed back today for my fills. I was very happy with the end result and extremely happy with the polite and courteous service. If I have time, I will get a pedicure as well. I'm hoping I'll be as pleased with that service as I was with the full set at my first visit. The 5th star is held back simply because of the extreme wait and not the service or quality of the work. DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS WAXED HERE. Walking in, I had thick eyebrows and I only wanted a clean up. My eyebrows are now 2 different shapes and very thin. When I told the lady (who waxed them) about it she got a little upset and tried to show me where she waxed and insisted that the makeup I use on my eyebrows make them look fuller... I think I know what my eyebrows look like with and without makeup. After going back and forth with this lady for 5 minutes she got upset and yelled "fine I will not charge" and walked away. So I went in for the first time and was very disappointed , the boss lady was more interested in her phone then customers yelling at others to come take care of things then I got a fills it wasn't my usually pink and white powder but some kind of dipping , my nails are all in evens as she asked if I wanted a tip for my broken nail but never put it on then it seems like she did the process back words fileing at the end she charged me for a clear pink polish which looked like I had red polish on that got wiped off leaving stains then I wanted a foot massage got a foot scrub instead she did polish ok it was way to pink but lee doesn't speak English so I couldn't explain to her, my feet were killing me I just wanted a nice soak and massage and left with thin thongs on my feet on a rainy day needless to say I won't go back if you can speak the language you might be ok I guess there was also a guy working there who was saying he wants to go back to Houston I wasted 3hours of my time read more
