The bartender, Katharin offered me a seat at either the indoor bar, the outdoor patio, or the indoor covered patio. Since it was a beautiful night, I sat outside next to the fire pit (which was unlit due to the rare 80° temperature in Buffalo). The burger and fries arrived quickly, and I did get a free refill on my iced tea. The service was really top-notch! Whether you go for beverages or a quick bite, I highly recommend that you visit this rooftop lounge... weather permitting.

As expected from a historic building large windows overlooking downtown Rochester, a gas fireplace, and soaker tub. Beautiful space. Some logistic issues with heat and fan not working so this was her second room that hopefully the new owner will address. We ran into their new executive chef and they have done a great job in hiring him. He told us about future ideas they have for putting their thumb print on things and they sound quite exciting. I thanked him for the time he spent speaking with us and appreciated his enthusiasm and forward thinking. All in all a most enjoyable time at the Inn and would recommend a visit by anyone of any age. So glad we have a community that cares for its historic buildings and their importance to our identity

Once you're inside, you definitely feel that speakeasy ambiance. You have a nice variety of seats, including at the bar, plush sofas along the walls, and tables closer to the stage. If you're not sitting at the bar, you still order everything there, and things will be brought to you. Their specialty cocktails are quite good, with several interesting riffs on classics. If I had a cast-iron liver, I'd try them all. Small plates and sweet treats are also available. If you're staying at The Inn, this is a definite must-visit. There are many cocktail bars in the area a short walk or drive away, but why do that if you're already here? Save the time you would have spent traveling for more quality time here.
