The spot to get the best wonton noodles in the U.S. I'm from the Bay Area and when I said I'm going to Vegas, all my Chinese aunties always ask whether I'm going to Louie's and if I can bring some back. They're that good! I loaded up on 20 packs because they store well in the freezer and have already finished half the stash under 4 months. The best noodles are the wonton Mein, but the chow Mein is also very popular. Everything is very reasonable being under $5 a package or pound. I saw the guy after me got 30 packs of noodles! Interior wise, it's made like a warehouse corporate office. White walls with a few photos of the menu. It's a simple space but the food they churn out is perfection! 4.5 stars Anyone looking for fresh HK noodles and wonton wrappers will want to visit this shop. They have a good selection of noodles to choose from - thin egg noodles, wide egg noodles, spinach noodles, fresh ramen noodles, rice noodles, crystal wonton wrappers, thick wonton wrappers (for deep-frying), siu mai wrappers, and fresh rice rolls. Quality of their products is superior to a lot of other brands. My extended family stays in vegas every couple months and will purchase these in bulk. Some are for sharing with family and friends and the rest is stashed away until they need it. Products we always buy in bulk are their thin and thick egg noodles and the crystal wonton wrappers. The crystal wonton wrappers isn't clear like the dumpling skin you get on har gow - it's just a thin wrapper. Service is alright. The lady helping us today isn't rude or anything, but she is busy. One of the open secrets of the valley (especially among the noodle connoisseurs), tucked and hidden in the industrial part of the town, surrounded by businesses like a pet resort, glass factory, pet cremation and burial, and other unmarked warehouses. It may come across as an unconventional location for a noodle factory, on the corner of Reno and Schirlls, and just a block away from Arville. It truly is in a weird location, but don't let that fool you. They're primarily a wholesaler but open to the public and sell retail to loyal customers, like me. Their followers come from far and beyond the valley (a lot of out-of-towners, especially on Saturdays and Mondays when the tourists from across the border head home south). Sometimes you will walk into an unmanned front desk, but don't fret, they have cameras, so they know when a customer walks in. The lady who takes orders barely speaks (and very little English when she does speak), but ordering is as easy as pointing to the picture of the product on the wall, and the quantity (pounds or packages) you need. A little hidden gem to buy noodles! My dad ate at a restaurant where he loved the noodles. He asked where they purchased them and they sent us to Louie's Noodles. We were looking for spinach noodles for my kid who only really eats noodles and doesn't like veggies. And so glad we came here because he loves them! I didn't believe that the noodles could taste that different from regular noodles, but I was surprised by the quality, especially because we cooked it after it was already frozen. We will be back to get more. When we visited, we saw people buying cases in bulk to take with them! Now we know why. It was about $4 for the noodle and the serving feed 3 adults and one kids when we made it at home. This place only takes cash so come prepared. We highly recommend. There are other noodles there too that we haven't tasted. But I'm sure they are similar high quality. Parking was easy and it wasn't a long wait at all. The place is a little in a random spot. A must visit place if you want to make dumplings, shu mei and wontons at home! Hidden in the industrial area is where they make the magic noodles! We are so lucky to have this local noodle factory in Vegas. Definitely make the homemade dumplings a lot tastier than the store bought wraps. My favorites so far are shumei wraps dumpling wraps,, wonton wraps, and spinach noodle. I've also tried Japanese ramen and egg noodles. I thought those later two items were just okay. Checked this place out and its definitely a hole in the wall place. Its not your typical store- walk in and its a "office type" with a desk and on the wall a screen of the different types of noodles and wonton you can order. I first encountered this brand while at my grandma's. She had purchased the Crystal Wonton Wrapper, and it was so good! The chewiness is just perfect, and I loved it so much that I decided we had to get some before we left. While at the shop, we encountered another person there who ordered nearly 40 packs of wonton noodles (she noted that her friends all request that they bring it back whenever someone visits LV). They have a wide variety of noodles and wonton wrappers and the pricing is quite reasonable, especially for the quality. I also bought wide wonton noodles (had some this morning and so chewy and yummy) and rice noodles (haven't had a chance to try yet but looks fresh). Super chill hole in the wall fresh noodles - I always get the steamed rice cakes from here it's so cheap and fresh you can feed a party! The front desk usually only speaks Chinese so I just point to the photos or the English names and we never have problems. Greatest, freshest egg noodles in the world. The buying experience is a bit awkward since it's the actual noodle factory, with a tiny office at the entrance and a lady that doesn't speak a word of English. The tiny office has poster menus of different noodle products you can purchase. It's also CASH ONLY, so don't forget to bring cash! The noodles are super easy to cook, needing only less than a minute in hot boiling water, and makes a great calorie maintenance if you care about that stuff. A bundle of egg noodles is only 120 -150 calories depending on the width of the noodles. Where as packaged instant noodle is around 430 calories!! These noodles also store very well when frozen, so it can last for months in the freezer! read more

We went late in the afternoon so some of the noodles were already sold out. I was able to buy a few packages and brought them home in a cooler on ice. Froze it when I got home. I'm a visiting Yelper from California and am very happy to support this wonderful family-owned local business. Did you know I'm a total​ noodle fanatic? Well, I most definitely am, and making a stop at Louie's always satisfies my cravings. No cooked foods here though. It's essentially a noodle wholesale factory that makes all their own fresh Asian-style noodles. Lucky for us, they're also open for retail business too. Just don't expect a regular "store" experience. When you enter, you'll be at the front of the "office" where you can place your order from a list of their noodle offerings (pictures available too). They'll go in the back to put your order together and you'll be good to go. You can't go wrong with any of their noodles or dumpling and wonton wrappers. They sell to the big time casinos too! All these Asian casino restaurants can't all be wrong, right?! They even make their own rice noodles (ho fun) but have temporarily stopped when the casinos all closed due to COVID-19. They'll resume making this next week when the casinos are scheduled to re-open. This is definitely one of my favorite places for fresh noodles. I like them way better than anything you'd find at the Asian supermarkets and even better than most places in the San Francisco Bay Area. In fact, their chow mein noodles are the only ones I use to make chow mein. If I don't have them on hand, I'd rather not make it at all. Yes, they're that good! There has been a lot of hype on a FaceBook foodie page about this noodle place located in Las Vegas. My husband was in Vegas for a convention so I went to Louie's Noodle's website and gave my husband an order. He brought back way too much noodles (he's not the most reliable shopper), and I had to freeze a lot and also gave out a lot. My husband said the shop is like a hole-in-a-wall and there was only an elderly non-English speaking woman trying to fill all these people's orders. My husband used his broken English and tried to order what I saw on their website, but the quantities and availability were different. So my husband just got what he could and got on his plane and came home. I've got to say that the noodles ARE DELICIOUS! They have a much more fun texture to them than any that are available locally. I understand why people go out of their way to get these noodles. Even friends that I gifted noodles to rave about them! So happy I found this place! Got the wonton noodles, steamed chow mein noodles and rice noodles. Total was ~$14 (cash only!). Not sure if it was due to the language barrier, but I ended up with a huuuuge/silly amount of the rice noodles. I used 2 "bundles" for a beef chow fun but still have a ridiculous amount left. The wonton noodles are awesome! I made my own version of wonton noodle soup and the noodles were exactly the same as those in Big Wong's wonton noodle soup (the best in Vegas IMHO). For those that really cook, you know that the fresh noodles from the Asian grocery stores don't cut it. In comes Louie's noodles! They make everything there! Pho noodles, Banh Cuon (steamed rice rolls), Udon, Egg noodles, even crystal wraps to make your own haw gao at home. We came today and they were out of pho noodles.
