It was nice to have a Surfside and Miller High Life after being out of the country for so long. We didn't eat anything but had a great time with the drinks, sports on TV and selecting our own music on TouchTunes. I love those in bars. We came in at a decent hour, way before closing, maybe around 10 but the bar dining room was already packed up for closing -- chairs were put up. We sat at the bar, danced around and stepped outside a bit so it was alright. But I feel like with more drinks, music and the people that were on the way it would've been a great BLAST. The bartender said they were closing due to other engagements. Chevy was a pleasant bartender. I'll definitely be back to visit!

I ordered the small plate French Dip sliders. I should have refused what came. Menu says "sliced sirloin, carmelized onions...." What I got looked like the scrapings of hamburger bits from a too-hot grill (in fact, perhaps it was, as my friend ordered a burger and it was burnt). The meat scrapings were on 3 Hawaiian rolls with a smattering of grilled onions and cheese to hide it. A bowl of au jus came with it. I did manage to consume some by dipping it in the au jus but that was very salty and I lost my appetite quickly. What a disappointment! One of my friends ordered a hamburger (came with lots of fries); the burger was burnt but she ate parts of it. My other friend ordered salad (it was ok) and soup d'jour. The soup finally arrived 10 minutes after our meal and tasted canned. Her breadstick was hard and inedible in the middle--obviously stale and nuked. Awful! I can't begin to say how disappointed we all were. We left our waitress good tips because it was not her fault. She did offer to bring us something else to eat. We should have taken her up on the offer. Perhaps the "cook" could have made us decent sandwiches to take home? What a disappointment. We'd give it a negative star rating and we are not picky people. I sure would love to hear back from a manager about this!
