We order non stop from here food is always super greasy but we still come here tonight another over $100 order but this time they forgot to give us 3 items so I called and the woman(very rude/disrespectful) immediately we closed at 9 so I said you messed up our order right away she says no we didn't I explained they forgot 3 items and that one of them on receipt is actually incorrect on top of it she then yelled at me and hung up I called back got a different person and I said please tell me you didn't hang up on me she said oh that wasn't me I'm sorry and that they will send driver back with missing items I also mentioned the receipt said the club was a wrap and she assured me it was a club guess what it wasn't it's not so bad that they messed up delivery and one item but it's another thing that the bitch hung up real professional none the less we will never go there again read more

Did a take out order of two salads two days ago. Requested slight changes from menu listed salads. Asked for one with romaine instead of iceberg lettuce (knew they had romaine because they use it on caesar salads) and the second without tomatoes. They screwed up both: ignored both requests. But they at least put the dressing on the side for both as I requested. Takeaway is to not ask for any changes, even if they say they can honor them... read more

I figured with roast beef in the name that's what I would get. Presentation was nice with bun and sauces. Meat was inedible. One bit and you can tell it was poor quality. I tried to find some good meat inside and finally gave up and threw it away. I will say service was nice and helpful. read more

Ordered a barbecue chicken pizza with no red sauce. They made up for the red sauce by adding so much barbecue sauce that I'm spitting it out on every bite. Did we switch cooks? First time ordering from this place. I have to say I am very disappointed. The food was trash. I ordered chicken fingers that tasted like they were cooked in old grease. The onion rings were soggy and not crunchy at all. The pizza was decent but nothing to brag about, I've had better. If I could give this place half a star I would only because delivery was fast. My advice is, if you want customers to come back don't half ass your food and cook it the right way. We are not paying to eat food that's been cooked in old nasty grease and soggy fried foods. I have ordered from here before but after yesterday I think I'll order from PPC or Steve's. Ordered the polo primavera pizza and they have something on their menu called chicken primavera (I would rename it...wouldn't you?!) Anyways I got the wrong pizza with olives which I can't stand the flavor of and couldn't even eat any of the pizza. Called and was told power went out and please call back- tried to explain my order was wrong and basically was told OK without any solutions. My boyfriend called to try and the same guy said sorry I can't help- we asked if we could just say make a note that we want the right pizza once they have power... he talked to his manager and said we will call you back. *EDIT* Update review: A couple months ago I tried a steak & cheese calzone for the first time, it was incredible! I've tried the steak & cheese calzone at other places and nothing compares to Loui's! The mozzarella sticks are really good too. Got a Super Beef 3-way. Was better than last time except the beef wasn't cut up enough, I got large pieces coming out of the sandwich that I needed to cut in to pieces. Nice and pink though. Also ordered their buffalo wings, they were phenomenal. I like hot wings and they were mild, would like to see them go with a hotter sauce. 12 wings for $10 is a good deal too. read more

I didn't know what to expect, the restaurant is under new owners. The interior has been totally redone. The new owners are experienced in the pizza and roast business. The roast beef 3way was excellent, but I really enjoyed the chicken broccoli ziti, it was so good and the portions are big enough for leftovers. They did forget to put the mayo on my Blt and the fries were soggy but for 13$ including the delivery fee, tip and food it was worth it. Only reason I'm leaving a review is because I feel bad they have such horrible ones. You just have to be VERY specific when ordering. read more

Tried to order in Sunday while babysitting through the Yelp app. An hour after I placed the order, they called to tell me that they couldn't complete my order of 2 small pizzas! To add to the frustration my card was still charged and now I can't get anyone from yelp/grub hub customer service to refund the money and that was the only option Louis gave me. my dad and I used to order Louis all the time together. we would sit in his office and eat, laugh and talk. the driver would always pull up to his office and know him by name, not just another customer. granted he ordered from them almost daily. but he wouldn't have if it want good food! it's funny, i got their tray of lasagna yesterday as a gift at celebration of life for my father. it was delicious! 11/10 rating. there was mountains of food from all different restaurants and people but it didn't stop anybody from taking a second helping and raving about how good the Louis lasagna was! Ordered here for the first time tonight. Delivery was pretty quick and the Pizza was an above average Greek pizza, but the fried mushrooms were amazing! Not only were they a full size portobello mushroom thinly sliced and breaded but they were cooked perfectly! I can't wait to try more of the food here! read more

Have ordered from Louis many times over the last few months, however I will not be ordering from them again. Couple weeks ago, I ordered a sub and a couple salads and after an hour they delivered everything except the salad dressings and pita bread. Annoying, but accidents happen and I called them within minutes of the delivery. Whoever answered the phone blamed it on the driver and that the dressings must have "fallen out of the bag". Took them 30mins to bring the completion of my order and the driver was so nice about it and even offered to give back her tip (I refused, as it definitely was not her fault!). Ordered $50 worth of food tonight and they forgot to include one of the items we ordered AGAIN and an order of fried mushrooms wasn't even warm! Took them another 30mins to bring it! This spot has good food but it took 2 hours for my 2 pizzas be delivered. I ordered at 5:47pm and didn't get the food until 8:00pm. We had to call back to make sure that our order was actually placed and come to find out they put in the wrong address. I will miss old owners, who took over after we moved here. my family grew up eating here when we moved to Newton in 94. They were great and family oriented. Ordered Roast beef sandwiches over the phone for pick up and when I arrived got roast beef subs. I Got major attitude from the young worker who was unhappy to change the order from subs to sandwiches. Another worker stuck her nose in and lectured me on how to order. Apparently if you say "large" you will get a sub even though you say sandwich. You must say "super" I suggested they clarify on the phone "sub or sandwich". How hard is that? Apparently very! Called back at 1hr 45 min to tell them to forget it. They said they "would send it out now for free" then it showed up cold....apparently they picked up the order sitting on the counter and shipped it off. Thanks for nothing. Felt bad for the driver because I know it wasn't his fault but really....don't bother.
