I was told I would get a shipment email and would be able to track the progress. I called on three separate occasions and was told it would definitely be there by the 13th! I visited the Louis Vuitton store at Fashion Island in Newport Beach today and was extremely disappointed by both the store experience and the current state of the brand. The store itself felt poorly maintained and lacked the elevated luxury atmosphere you would expect from a brand charging these prices. The selection was underwhelming, repetitive, and honestly dated. Louis Vuitton appears to be trying to compete with Chanel and Hermès on pricing while releasing designs that feel increasingly uninspired, bulky, and behind current luxury trends. I purchased a Capucines wallet for approximately $1,100. When it arrived at my home, I inserted my credit cards into the slots for literally about one minute to test functionality and immediately realized the wallet was impractical, overly bulky, and made with leather that felt disappointing for the price point. I carefully repackaged the item and attempted to return it at the Newport Fashion Island location. I was then told by Reese that because I had inserted cards into the slots, the wallet was no longer in "sellable condition," meaning I would be stuck with an $1,100 wallet that I found unattractive and poor quality after barely handling it. The idea that briefly testing a wallet exactly as intended somehow destroys its resale condition is unreasonable and not aligned with the level of customer service expected from a luxury house. For a company that continues aggressively increasing prices, the quality, design direction, store condition, and customer experience no longer justify the premium. read more

Horrible customer service for such a high end brand & employees are very unprofessional, they do not stand by their word or their quality. I brought in a phone case i purchased 4 months prior to be repaired or replaced some sort of accommodation as the coating was already coming off and cracking after only 4 months of use and they were unwilling to do anything about it saying that it is normal wear and tear. Pictures are uploaded to show that this is not the norm for LV after only 4 months. I paid a premium for quality! This is not the quality that LV prides themselves on. What i didn't pay for is for it to be feeling like sand paper after a few short months. I went back and fourth for 2 months trying to get to some resolution. I was promised multiple times that they would get a resolution for me and at the end all i got was a sorry nothing we can do its normal. Throughout this process i was told many different things as well, they couldn't keep their story straight once. First they said its scratched, then they said no its not normal we will do something, then they said its normal nothing we can do. Which one is it? Extremely disappointing especially since iv been a good client spending thousands there to not do anything over a small purchase of a phone case that clearly isn't useable & didn't hold up to the quality they supposedly stand by. Located at Neiman Marcus at Fashion Island, this is a must stop shop. I was so impressed with the customer service at this location; this is the level of treatment you expect when walking into a luxury brand store. I initially came in to inquire about a repair, but couldn't help picking up a little treat for myself. Though this location is not as large as some other shops, the selection here is good and you are able to order online if they don't have the particular color you are looking for. The store can have your order shipped directly to the store or to your home. The manager's customer service was next level, and it's experiences like this that make me want to come back. read more

The first time we met, she helped find my now go-to fragrance; she did not rush or pressure me to buy, and tried to get to know me so she can help me pick the best scent which is so personal. Their customer service and care department are horrible and is useless. The purse I bought has a design flaw and the purse has developed 4 small holes in the leather at the creases. THIS IS A COMPLETE DESIGN FLAW. They stated they couldn't repair or replace the purse. The purse is in excellent condition except at the creases where the holes have developed. They lost a customer today. They do not stand by their product or guarantee the quality when spending $4,000 on a purse. We took the purse to Anthonys in Corona Del Mar and they actually have a solution to repair the purse. LV was useless! read more

Because I travel quite a bit for work and I love to travel, owning an LV had always been on my wishlist for years. I didn't grow up rich - in fact, my parents were immigrants who simply instilled a hard work ethic in me at a very young age. No inheritance. No assistance. No sugar daddy. No handouts. No favors. Straight hustle. Straight dedication. Straight focus. Straight ambition. Straight f'n hard work. I'd always wanted to invest in a piece(s) from LV - but I always told myself that I wanted to work for it; I wanted to "earn it" myself because it would make me appreciate it more. So I stopped by this location today, January 20, 2021 mid-afternoon. There was no one in line. However, I did have to wait about 5 minutes because the store had reached capacity. The host was professional, conversational and friendly. I let him know I was there to drop off a repair order on my LV travel luggage. He looked at my bag, smiled and was like, "wow, you must travel a lot." Haha, I wonder if he was trying to imply I treat my LV like sh!t. LOL. I just replied and smiled back, "I'm just well-traveled." :D Before entering this store, you will be required to sanitize your hands. There's a hand sanitizer at the entrance inside of Neiman Marcus. Masks are required due to the COVID. I was surprised to read a few of the recent negative Yelp reviews because what I love most about this location is that LV client service advisors like Cole and Icesys are always so helpful, attentive, patient and professional. I just wish they offered a bigger selection of the LV collection here. Overall, I've always had great experiences at this Louis Vuitton. I bought a wallet for a Christmas present and I went back to Neiman's LV store to return the item in early February. I tried going after work, but the store was/is under construction and they close at 6pm. I finally got there on a weekend and Gabriella would not allow me to return the wallet w/o a receipt. I asked her to find my purchase using my phone number and she confirms my purchase at the same store, but would not help. The wallet was never used; still in the box. The way the "manager" Aurelio Rodriguez mistreated my daughter over a return she had a receipt for is pure discrimination. First of all lying about being the main manager should be illegal. They wouldn't comply with his demands and admitted the product looks new and couldn't find a single scratch. I will not be returning to this location ever again. I placed an order online for pickup. I arrived at the store to pick up the order and was told to go wait in line outside because they do not have anyone to help assist customers with pick up orders. They made me wait outside in the sun for 25 minutes. After I called the LV client advisors line, they called the store to tell them that pick up orders should NOT be waiting in line. There were 5 other customers with pick up orders that were waiting in front of us. The client advisor line told us, make sure you're assertive and tell the store that we're a pick up order. We did. With a snappy, condescending attitude the employee at this location told us, "there are other people in line with pick up orders too. The line is outside." The worst customer service I've ever experienced. Why are they accepting pickup orders if we have to wait in line anyway? I thought the whole purpose was to prevent an influx of customers gathering together. After 25 minutes and a call from the corporate office, the same employee came back out to "help us" with an entirely different attitude. Even after taking my ID, receipt, and credit card information that I paid with, it took another 30 minutes for them to get my order. We waited in line some more inside the store. During this period, I watched them walking around with my ID and struggling to find the order. They eventually came back to us and said that the order is under a different name (my boyfriends). If the credit card information, the billing address, and the e-mail is under my name, AND the product matches what I showed them, AND they found the order already, why couldn't they grab the order first, then check his ID? They came back and explicitly stated "The order is actually under "..."'s name." Instead, they took his ID and took another 10 minutes to grab it. By the time we were able to pick the order up, it had been about an hour and we had already waited out the entire line. One HOUR for an order that's already paid for is a joke. The customer service is a joke. I have no problem waiting in a line, but telling us to "go wait outside because there are other people with pick up orders too" without letting us even finish our explanation of "we have a pick up order" is just rude. read more
