Oscar greeted me when I walked in. He is hilarious and gave me his name immediately and said "Im going to be your favorite cashier." Everything is made fresh when you place your order. They offer lots of seafood options whether fried or grilled. Po'boys, boudin eggrolls and a seafood burrito.

I've been here several times and the food is still as good as it was when they first opened. There is seating inside only. Customer service is always amazing. The inside is always very clean and sanitary as well.

Decided to try out a new place and was not disappointed. Got a variety and loved everything, the fried food had a nice crust and nothing felt greasy. The fried oysters and hush puppies were great along with everything else. A bonus is that all of the sauces are made in house. Service was excellent and staff were very attentive while I was there. I would definitely go back!

I'm visiting from the Bay and found this joint on a fluke. The seafood egg rolls were memorable and very hot and tasty. The catfish and oysters were delicious as well. I

I have family from Louisiana and ate the cuisine several times. If the name didn't have Louisiana in it, the review would honestly be higher. But if they are trying to achieve the Louisiana styled cooking - they are far from it. I ordered shrimp gumbo (3/10) flavor was not gumbo like , was watery not thick, wasn't full of meat. Dirty rice (4/10) sort of bland Fries (8/10) nice fresh and seasoned Fish Tacos (10/10) probably the best fish tacos I ever had ! Flavor was there, pico was nice and fresh. Spot on. Service was good , food was hot and fresh.

Oscar and the rest of the team are exceptional! They welcome you into their friendly atmosphere. They go above and beyond to make sure that everything is up to your liking. Shrimp gumbo was so delicious it was hard to put my spoon down. 10/10

The Carajillo is made perfectly, Oaxacan connection was good, did not enjoy the Mexican martini or margarita. Patio is shaded which is great, so we usually sit outside with the ambience of the lake and large trees. Since it was Mother's Day, there were more tables than usual making the dining space tight and hard to maneuver for the guests and staff. Danny quickly took our drink orders and then our food orders. They had a special menu for Mother's Day, and still offered their full menu as well. We opted for the chargrilled oysters and deviled eggs with shrimp for appetizers, scallops, ettoufe , and asparagus with jumbo lump crab for entrees. All the food was still the excellent quality provided on many of my visits. Half way through the meal and prior to our entrees coming, a party of 8 arrived and I asked if we could move to a vacant table along the back windows to give the group more space and the staff graciously accommodated us and helped us move. Great service, excellent food and drinks.

I didn't recall anything bad about the place, and given the rave reviews since then, I thought it was time to return. Based on reviews, we showed up early on a Friday evening (~5 pm). Even at that time, it was mostly full, but we were able to snag seats at the bar, which is first come first serve. We ordered the "regular" grilled oysters (5/5), which were anything but regular, as they were topped with peanuts and a really great flavor. I'd get these again. Fair warning, these take 20 minutes to come out, which I didn't mind, but I did not realize that they would not bring us anything else until after the oysters since these are considered an app. I thought they'd just bring things out as they were ready. This meant, we did not get our crawfish until we were already sitting there for an hour. About halfway into the wait for the crawfish (after the oysters), the fried rice (1/5) showed up, and I have to say, it was underwhelming. It came out room temperature, which to me is cold, and I thought this was just how they do it. Except 15 minutes later, the seats next to us got their fried rice, and it came out piping hot. You could still see the steam coming off of it. Besides being cold, I didn't think the fried rice was that good in terms of flavor. I also generally prefer the short grain rice, and this was more of a long grain. Once the crawfish showed up, we were well past an hour, so we dove right into it. Both the garlic butter and combo mix were great flavor - some of the best I've had in Houston. However.... it made me remember why we did not return. About 20% of the crawfish were TINY. And by tiny, I mean they were smaller than my pinky finger. Maybe I'm a crawfish snob, but at this time of the season, there should not be that many tiny crawfish. Maybe a few small ones, but not tiny. Crawfish flavor = 5+/5, crawfish quality = 2/5, crawfish cook = 3/5. Then I made the mistake of ordering a cluster of snow crab. That took another 30+ min to come out, and it was again room temperature. The service at the bar was fine (4/5), but the kitchen service (1/5) is not something I want to experience again, especially not for the crawfish quality/size. Yes, the flavor was amazing, but I'm not fighting for a table for lukewarm food and 30 min wait time for each dish. The pricing was some of the lowest I've seen ($8.99/lb crawfish), but I'd rather pay $1 more at other places for the quality.

I extremely wanted to like this place so badly. I found this place while scrolling on TikTok, and…read morethe videos seemed great, so we decided to try it. The look of the place was cute, and the music was great. But when we sat down in the booth, there was a dirty pink pillow in every booth. That should have been the first indication. I didn't understand the purpose of a pillow in a booth. And to think about how many kids or adults probably touched it, sat on it, or even played with that pillow--eww, gross. So we didn't touch it. It wasn't crowded at all, so we sat down. The server was okay. She explained some things about the menu. Essentially, we ordered wings as an appetizer and the boil second. Additionally, we ordered two drinks. When ordering the drinks, we first decided on the tropical tequila. Then a young man came back and told us it was just Red Bull and tequila. I was like, what? I went back to the menu, and it was supposed to have tequila, orange juice, lime, and a tropical energy drink. I appreciated the honesty, and he said he wanted to let us know because we couldn't send drinks back. So we ordered something else: a classic (basic) margarita and the GA-grown peach tea. The GA-grown peach tea tasted like water and peach medicine, and the margarita tasted like a sweet-and-sour juice mixture. Before ordering those two drinks, we had asked about two others on the menu, and he told us they didn't have the ingredients for either of them. He explained that they had just opened in April. It's now December, so I didn't understand how that correlated with us ordering drinks now. While waiting, the music was great, but it took a long time for the food to come out. And guess what--the wings and the boil came out at the same time. The waitress essentially never came back after taking our order. She came back to drop off the food, spoke to us, and then didn't return again until it was time to pay. We had to stop her in the middle of cleaning another table just to get what we needed. We ordered the Juicy Crab special. The flavor was good, and the wings were fine. The egg in the boil seemed a bit dry, which is crazy since it was in the boil mixture. The shrimp tasted a bit tough, as did the sausage. The corn was the best part, and the crab was okay. I'm not sure if it was the way it was cooked, but you know how when you snap a crab, it has that perfect crack? We struggled to crack the crab, but didn't think much of it at the time. About an hour after being there, both of us instantly ended up sick. We have an ER bill for proof. We will never eat here again.

Getting to the location was quite easy, parking was super easy as well, it is in a small shopping center. As I went inside, I could smell the food, and I knew it was going to be good. I was greeted by a younger guy who handed me the menu, but fortunately, I already knew what I wanted! Which was one of everything! But, I was solo on this day, so I had to have some restraint! I chose to go with the catfish basket, with 2 filets, fries (cajun), a side of mac and cheese, and a side of their specialty sauce that comes with crawfish! I had an appointment I was going to next, and I didn't think about how long it would take, but fortunately, it didn't take long at all. They drop the food to cook after you order, which I love!!! The catfish and fries were piping hot when they came out. Seasoned just perfectly for my taste! I'm glad I went with the two, so that I could take the other one home for later!!! I don't know how they season the fish, but keep doing what you're doing! I got the mac and cheese, it looked super good. It was cheesy and had the cheese pull that we all know and love. It wasn't my most favorite dish, it was missing a little something. BUT!!! When I added the side sauce with the crawfish in it, it became my favorite! Something about that combo just works! I believe it's the sauce they use in one of their pastas, but don't quote me on that! The sauce I used as a dip for everything, fries, mac and catfish. It is worth getting! All in all, loved everything about this place. It reminds me a little of some of the places I used to go to growing up in Memphis. Family vibe, packing lots of flavors, good music going, and just good everything. Will be back to try more of the menu!
