If there was a zero rating I would give it. Let's start from the beginning; I come in with a cracked screen and was told it would take 2-3 hours to fix and cost about $200; 6 hours and $287 later they finally return my phone. One week goes by and my phone slipped off me to the floor and immediately the screen bleeds and is rendered useless. I return and was told that the repair would take 1 hour and would cost about $160. The next day and $184 later I get my phone back. At this time, I was told there is a 90 day warranty and if the screen bleeds again with no damage, it would be a free repair. It wasn't until I get home that I notice the screen feels a bit loose but I figure with after market it's not that big of a deal. Well today, my phone again drops from my lap down to the carpet floor; the screen is bleeding. No cracks, no scratches, nothing. Not even my screen protector is scratched. I come back only to be told it is damaged and it's going to be $187. Now, I'm charged before the clerk even checks to see if there is any screens available to replace and after he realizes there's none, that it would need to be special ordered and take 2 days to process plus another fee I decide to get my refund and look else where. I find another place and this gentleman literally spends 30 minutes, fixes the screen with no issues and only charges $150. Not to mention he tells me before even touching my phone that there is a warranty and he will fix any issues as long as the screen is not broken. He even gave me back my old screen and said there is actually no damage and that the screen that was used was way too thin and hard and would have eventually cracked easily. I will never return here nor recommend this place. read more

We took our receiver in because it wasn't working. I was told that it would be $40 for the diagnostic portion and if there were any additional charges we would be notified. When I received the call stating it was working and ready to be picked up I was told that they gave it a good cleaning and that was all that was needed to get it working again. When I picked up the unit I was told we owe an additional $50 for the cleaning and tear down of the unit. No one notified me of the additional charge that would be due. I feel that we should have been notified of the additional charge before the work was completed. read more

This place is a rip off!! I had taken my phone in for screen change. They recommended me doing a board washing. So I did both. Now my camera still won't work. They're saying now it's the capacitor. Which would cost me $89.99 each. That I need 2. It's going to cost me over $400. Had I knew I would have bought a new or used phone from eBay. RIP OFF!!!!!! Chris Love (the owner) is extremely helpful. I had them work on my Note 4. I had charging issues and they were able to fix it at a very reasonable price. Evidently I had a rare case where several components failed when my phone overheated. Thankfully these folks are pros and we're able to overcome it and get my phone back into action. There were a couple issues getting he parts and all functions back up and running, but they were completely transparent and up front. To start off, this is just a PSA for potential future customers, letting them know to avoid this business at all costs. I brought my phone here on a Weds morning with a shattered screen, I was told it would take between 2 and 3 hours to fix, great, no big deal, my phone was a few months old and had absolutely no other issues. 6 hours later and the business was closing, I called and was told my phone was done but needed to be put back together. Mind you, no one had called to update me during the day, but that's neither here nor there. I get my phone home and realize it wont charge, shuts down after about 2 mins of screen use, and no one can hear me when I make calls. Jump to the next day, the staff is aware of these issues, they tell me they can fix this, so I leave my phone with them again all day, by the end of the day everything seems fine, but I get it home and it shuts off after about 2 mins still. How do you send me home with a malfunctioning phone again? It boggles my mind. By Saturday, I'm at my wits end. I've missed very important calls due to the fact that I cant use my phone for more than 2 mins at a time. The staff had my phone all day Saturday again, and by the end of the day STILL can't fix whatever it is that they screwed up in my device. I end up calling T Mobile and they make me an appointment and I'm able to get in the next day, The staff at Love 2 fix told my mom not to bother with this, because they would be able to tell that a 3rd party tampered with my phone and insurance wouldn't cover it, well guess what Chris, you were wrong. I have to get a brand new phone, all because of you and your staff's mistakes. They love to blame these mistakes on the fact that they're short staffed, but if you're so short staffed, let your clients know, if you cant handle the volume of clients, you need to be honest and send them elsewhere. You have no idea how much grief you have caused me. The only positive is they refunded me, AFTER they put the shattered screen back on my phone. THANKS GUYS. Learn how to run a business please. Where to begin.... I have an iPhone 7 plus. I contacted another place in Davis, that stated it was a bad "Audio IC board", which is common in these phone. That place said they could replace it. I work for myself, and I use my phone daily. So I took my iPhone there, and they informed me that their"guy" was off that day, but stated their guy would be there the next day after 1:00pm. I left my phone number (could only use Bluetooth on phone). Came in the next day to that place, and their guy called in. These guys didn't call me? OMG. I did a search, and found another place in Sacramento. Called them, and told me; "yea, we can do it, takes about 20 mins." So I drove there. Once I got there, they told me it would take 2-3 days. I got the run-around for 2 days, trying to just get my phone fix!! "WHAT!!" I need my phone. I then found Love2Fix! I called them, and they explained to me that they could fix this, but they have a few customers before me. Once I got there, the owner (Chris) and his staff understood my concerns, and got to it as soon as they could. While I was there, I saw many customers coming in, and getting their game systems, their broken phones etc. Watching this, the staff/owner explain to the customers what was wrong and how they fixed it. Chris and his staff are fully knowledgeable in so many devices. Amazing! How they treat their customers are outstanding! Truly, Love2fix is in today's world one of a kind! Within an hour and a half, they diagnose and repaired my iPhone. I'm about a little over an hour away from them but if I have any trouble with any of my devices, such as gaming systems, Macs, PCs etc, I know an honest place to take them to. I have used this business in the past with a huge amount of success. They have fixed 3 of my daughters phones, her Apple Watch and her iPad. They have fixed my personal phone battery and stood behind the work and replaced it when it still was not working. I was always impressed until today. This is a big deal for me with customer service. On 8/3 I had my first ever broken screen on an iPhone. I took the iPhone 7 here and they replaced the screen for $80 ish dollars. Shortly after picking it up the iPhone started doing crazy things. The curser would voice around in texts and emails, random numbers would pop up when trying to dial out. Getting any where in my work program was useless as no amount of tapping would activate the icon. I called and shared the experience and they said don't worry about it we will fix when you bring in. Well I brought in today and they said it is outside of warranty (not even 90 days yet) and I will have to pay for diagnostic and repair. I told them no that they need to fix and I was expecting to not pay anything. Someone came out from the back and started saying that they would do the diagnostic at no up front fee but I would still have to pay. I left the phone and repeated that I expected it fixed. As I was pulling out of the lot an employee brought my phone back to me and said they would not fix the phone because of my poor attitude. Yes it was poor (they did a shoddy job on repair). Had the screen on my phone replaced and a glass screen protector installed. The protector had a warranty on it but the company that makes the cover it was very difficult to deal with. The employees not only covered the warranty but handled made dealing with the warranty company very painless. Took my *functioning Note 5 in for USB port repair and was quoted $70 and told 1-2 hours. Get a call 2 houra later stating that it would be $140 to replace the cracked glass back and the batter that was damaged by the USB port. Caller stated that the new person at the front *should* have warned me that the back glass having a little cracking would likely be damaged further (he did not). Was told battery was dead, went to pick up my phone and story changed to "charging erratically". Despite learning that the back glass would need to be replaced and allegedly the battery, they went ahead and fixed the USB port anyway, so they wanted $70 for me to retrieve my previously functioning, now broken phone. Weird way to do business. Caution recommended. read more
